Excellent vegan Southern comfort food. Loved everything we got. Especially the fried chicken, it was super crispy even when it got cold and it was not very greasy. The gumbo and flatbush were great too very well seasoned and full of flavors. Service was quick and friendly. Sad we actually visited the restaurant on its second last day being open. Hopefully they find a way to return soon.

Nice spot for tasty vegan dishes. I visited with my best friend for low key brunch. I ordered the "chicken" and waffles and my friend had the gumbo. We both enjoyed our dishes. For drinks, we had the mimosa tower- nice presentation though not as practical for people drinking alcohol, as we almost knocked it over multiple times haha. Prices were reasonable.

Overall, I would return if in the area.

I celebrated my birthday with a meal at Veganhood. It was Sunday so we had to order from the brunch menu. I had the Kingdom Chix’n and Waffle and it was delicious. The texture and the taste of the Chix’n was really good. My friend had the Veganhood Kale Salad plus a side of collard greens, and they were good as well.

The service on this particular day was just okay.

Love the food, love the service, love the vibes. It is definitely very busy on Sundays or at least on the Sunday we went. They offered us a table on the sidewalk which was fine until we sat out there and only felt the blistering Harlem cold. Fortunately there was a table inside and our waitress was so kind and quickly prepped a place for us. The food was delish! None of us our vegans currently but we enjoy vegan food often. We loved that this was soul food and Caribbean food.
Also! The soursop limeade was a winner!

This place is cute. Dining area is a little small but the service was friendly and efficient. The menu options wasn’t elaborate but the food was good. The bartender made great mocktails and the decor is nice. I would definitely come back and would recommend people to give it a try.
