We travelled from Thailand to NYC for marathon event, so we craved for our familiar Thai taste. This place was the best Thai restaurant in NYC. All dishes tasted authentic Thai and so delicious. Some dishes tasted even better than several restaurants in Thailand. No wonder it is so popular with long queue, but the food definitely worth your wait.

I was here alone during my 2 weeks trip to NYC and glad I found this place. As a Thai, you always want to find the taste of your home country. This place has that taste of it.

My favorite dish was crispy pork basil with purple rice and I would have it with the Thai Tea. It’s just the perfect combination.

All the servers are really nice and welcoming here. They are not the typical grumpy ones in NYC.

Their toilet was also cleaned and not hiding underground which made the difference.

This is the best Thai food in New York in my opinion. I really like the papaya salad. It doesn’t taste the same like the original one in Thailand. But it is so fresh and tasty. The roast pork was soft and flavourful. Overall was great.

It is a Thai restaurant that is the best restaurant in New York. The taste is very delicious. There is always. Every time I go back to eat, it never disappoints. Both in terms of food and service.

I’ve been to this place countless times. The owner greets customers warmly. The food here is prepared authentically, and it tastes like Thailand. Every meal is wonderful and savory. In terms of dessert, mango sticky rice in America is often sour due to a dearth of sweet mangos. However, this place is able to imitate the true taste of Thailand. It actually feels like I’m dining in Thailand. 🇹🇭

Detta var en riktigt bra thailändsk restaurang i Hells Kitchen området i New York. Jag skulle inte säga att det var billigt, men det var inte dyrt heller. Så mellanprissatt. 

Personalen var vänlig och det var en trevlig atmosfär. Märkbart att några av matgästerna var asiatiska vilket var ett gott tecken. 

Vi började med fiskkakorna (tod man pla) som var superb och sedan åt vi Green curry (kyckling) och Pad Gra Tiam (räkor) som båda kom med ris. Båda var goda och mycket mättande. 

Vi drack singhaöl. 

Skulle definitivt rekommendera.

Vi stannade till vid Wondee Siam på Manhattan för en familjelunch två gånger i augusti 2025 . Vid båda besöken var maten genomgående utmärkt - smakrik, färsk och väl - presenterade. 
Vi hoppas att återvända nästa gång vi är i området.

	Thaisallad - mycket vanlig; oblandade grönsaker, passable.

	Pad Woon Sen (Glasnudlar med nötkött) - smakade utsökt, med en sås som tillförde en intressant touch. Biffen var dock lite trög. 
	Nötkött med cashewnötter och grönsaker - mycket färskt, men kan behöva lite mer kryddor för rikare smak.

Wondee har varit min go - till privat kök i över 16 år! Från en ödmjuk 20 - plats pärla till nu en mysig 70 - plats plats plats — en sak aldrig förändrats: den autentiska, själ - tillfredsställande thailändsk mat 🇹🇭🍲

Överkomliga priser 💵, riktiga thailändska råvaror 🌶️, vänliga vibbar 😊, och ett team som alltid går utöver det vanliga – oavsett om du är en vanlig, turist, thailändsk infödd, eller helt ny till det thailändska köket 💛

Om du letar efter den bästa äkta thailändska maten i NYC är Wondee Siam Curry & Noodles platsen! Denna pärla har serverat otroliga rätter sedan 1990-talet, tillverkade av en sann thailändsk kock. Jag har varit en lojal stamkund i 15 år, och de missar aldrig. 

Maten? Alltid topp - skåra. Gudstjänsten? Oklanderlig. Värdet? Oslagbar. 

Kvällens special, Khao Kha Moo (Fem - Kryddfläskboggryta med kokt ägg & inlagda grönsaker) , var en absolut utstickare – rik, smakrik och tillagad till perfektion. 

Sugen på Thai? Leta inte längre än Wondee Siam!

Vi reste från Thailand till NYC för maratonevent, så vi längtade efter vår familjära thailändska smak. Det här stället var den bästa thailändska restaurangen i NYC. Alla rätter smakade äkta thailändska och så läckra. Vissa rätter smakade ännu bättre än flera restauranger i Thailand. Inte konstigt att det är så populärt med lång kö, men maten definitivt värt din väntan.

Jag skulle ha gett 5 stjärnor förutom att adressen i TA är fel, och vi slutade vänta en timme för en tom skyltfönster att öppna. Som sagt, när vi upptäckte var de flyttade till, maten var utsökt och service i toppklass. TA, vänligen uppdatera adressen så att andra resenärer kan uppleva denna pärla! Och innehavaren måste sätta upp en skylt vid den tomma skylten för att peka kunderna till södra hörnet.

Jag snubblade nyligen över en gömd pärla i Hell's Kitchen - en ny thailändsk restaurang som snabbt blir min go - att upptäcka. Maten är helt fenomenal! Alla rätter jag har provat har sprudlat av autentiska smaker.

Underbart ställe som liksom saknats av mig eftersom jag oftast kommit till stan tidigare. Stället öppnar på söndag klockan 11 så vi har missat det. Maten är fantastisk. Crispy Pork var jättegott och jag vet inte varför det skulle märkas som 1 paprika men det kändes precis som lite kryddigt men kanske är det bara våra smaklökar. Ta - Lay var ännu bättre tyckte jag eftersom det kryddades perfekt och serverades på en stekpanna, skaldjur var färskt som om det bara simmade. Servicen var underbar även om jag skulle säga att platsen har känts mer för Hells Kitchen lokalbefolkningen än för "turister" som oss så servitriserna tog sin tid att förklara rätter för oss vilket var trevligt. 

Ambiance är en av de nyrenoverade lokala matställen. Vibe var mycket mycket lokal även om inte mycket historiska Hell's Kitchen men mycket kosmopolitisk New York. Det är ett bra ställe IMHO att besöka om du är i området.
