I ordered NY restaurant week menu (vegetable dry pot and sweet and sour chicken) which was great!!

I’m very impressed with the dry pot! Very authentic but not so spicy. The set came with appetizer, dessert and a drink! Definitely a good deal 👍

The new restaurant has great food and great service. Take a visit here! Among the dishes I ordered today, I highly recommend the “Chung King Beef with Soft Tofu” and the “Grind Pepper Eggplant with Garlic Sauce”.

This place is small, comfortable, and serves the best made authentic Chinese food in the north end of UWS (yes I took into account DH, SG, Atlas, Han Dynasty, HHH, Grain House, Dumpling Room, and that new fancy noodle place whose name I can't recall. I exclude 108 DHP, it serves a different type of food). The chef/owner is passionate, some of their ingredients came straight from China, and they are incredibly affordable. This place is so good I want to move into their building. Selection can be limited after you have been there hundreds of time. I suggest they come up with some seasonal selections!

This place was...disappointing at best. Their menu was confusing and had almost no organization and their dishes had no description. I ordered the xinjiang chicken, bok choy sauteed with garlic, and wontons in hot sour soup. Everything came out looking really good, but it didn't taste as good as it looked. The chicken came doused in pepper oil. I can handle spice really well and this was a little hard for me. At the end of the meal, my lips and tongue were unpleasantly tingly and numb. The wontons were not fresh at all and the broth was horrendous. It was just spicy salt water with A TON of pepper. Out of the three dishes I ordered, only the bok choy was good, and it's really hard to screw up that kind of dish.

Went to dinner last night there, the food was awesome.. it is not easy to fine authentic Szechuan flavor in this neck of wood.. their grill lamb foreshanke was amazing.. if you are looking for some great tasting Chinese food, drop by and have a taste and you won't regret it.
