Vi besökte vår dotter i New York City för Labor Day helgen. Hon gjorde alla våra måltid reservationer för helgen. På lördagen frågade hon om vi ville ha italienskt. Visst, sa jag. Vi gick längs gatan från hennes lägenhet till FUMO. Det såg litet och pittoreskt och mycket upptagen. Vi gav dem mitt namn och fick veta att det skulle ta ungefär 20 minuter. Det var faktiskt runt 10 . Vi satte oss ner och som sagt var det väldigt fullt upp. Alla bord var fyllda dofterna var bra och stämningen var stor. Det verkade vara en bra kvartersrestaurang. Titta över menyn var ett stort urval. Jag bestämde mig för att köpa Shrimp Francese och att säga att det var utsökt är en underdrift. Jag delade en bit med min dotter och hon höll med om att det var jättegott. När vi går tillbaka för att besöka henne inom en snar framtid eller när som helst kommer jag att begära att vi går till FUMO igen.

Återigen, efter några år kom vi till en familj födelsedag firande och vi hade en stor upplevelse. 
Mat: Stekt Calamary som förrätt. 
Kyckling Milanese, Vegan Burger, Spaghetti Carbonara, Penne med Funghi, Räkor Francese. 
En flaska Prosecco. 
Tiramisu. 
Alla älskade sin mat. 
Service av Sergio utmärkt. 
Vi hade ett privat område för vår festlighet.

Kom hit på rekommendation från vänner och tyckte om det. De har en eklektisk meny; pastan var inte riktigt al dente men Carbonara-såsen kompenserade för det - riktigt guanciale. Vinlistan hade god mångfald och tjänsten var oklanderlig. Priserna är fantastiska för UWS också.
