Ja, det är lite dyrt, men det är NYC Times Square så du får räkna med det. Jag kommer definitivt köpa den här varma chokladen igen!

Jag tog mina två tonårssöner här efter en sen show - när jag satt ner till middagen runt kl. När vi kom fram citerades vi en 45 minuters väntetid, och som urverk, satt vi i tid.

Vår server var effektiv och lugn och extremt professionell. Min äldre son och jag hade pastarätter, och de var helt bra. Skulle kunna. blir du bättre i NY? Säker. Men du går till Max för choklad.

Min yngre son beställde en milkshake (perfektion), hälften av en dessertpizza (jag pratade honom från en full storlek en) och chokladdesserten. Jag trodde att kakan var ur denna värld, men den var lite vuxen för en 15-åring.

Gå, ha kul och ta det inte så seriöst!

Har hört så bra saker om Max Brenners från min bror att jag var så upphetsad att äta här till middag under vår tre natters resa till NYC från England, sa till min man att vi skulle åka dit och han hade inget val:)
Först utanför restaurangen är kall, jag var kall hela måltiden, människor bad att flytta sig från dörrarna och det hjälpte fortfarande inte, slå på uppvärmningen! Gjort för en mycket obehaglig måltid.
Vi beställde en hamburgare varje, var trevlig men inget särskilt. Den bästa biten var våffla frites.
Choklad, anledningen till att jag kom! Milkshake jag beställde var fantastisk, saltad karamell, drack det alldeles för snabbt - bästa bit av måltiden.
Dessert - vi beställde churro fondue, churros var så överkokta att de var hemska, hårda i mitten och torkade ut. Chokladsåsen som de kom med var härlig, men hallonsåsen matchade inte.
Jag var så irriterad att jag slösat bort en av våra kvällar i NY som äter här

Den här gången besökte jag med en vän besöker från Kina som älskar choklad, så jag tänkte att det här kan vara ett roligt turistiskt val. Att boka online är enkelt, men det betyder inte att du kommer sitta direkt. Vi var tvungna att vänta ytterligare 15 minuter för vårt bord.
Denna restaurang är hög och trångt. Gå inte för en intim middag. Det är mer av ett skådespel. Matmenyn är faktiskt grundläggande med hamburgare, sallader och vissa kötträtter. Min vän och jag båda hade hamburgare, ett kött och en veggie. Han hade den heta choklad att dricka som han sa var läckra men inget super speciellt. Tjänsten var verkligen hemskt. Vår server var vänlig, men när maten kom vi erbjöds inte vatten, kontrolleras eller frågade om vi behövde en annan cocktail eller öl. Och flagga någon ner var svårt.
Maten var faktiskt så dålig att vi bestämde oss för att hoppa över dessert vilket är den främsta anledningen vi kom dit! Min veggie burger var mjuk och smaklös. Sidan av Björn fries smakade som att baka hemma snällt.
Det är så synd, men jag kan inte rekommendera denna plats längre och kommer inte att komma tillbaka. Det finns mycket bättre platser i NYC för en fantastisk efterrätt så gå dit och få lite bättre mat också!

 4. Det finns en meny att titta på medan du väntar, men dessert- och dryckesmenyn på bordet är koppling.
 5. Crepes var enastående. Vi gick bananhasselnöt!
 6. Pannkakorna var också fantastiska.
 7. Vi skulle vidarebefordra caprese kyckling smörgås nästa gång.

Ökenen var fantastisk men var helt låt ned av tjänsten. Vår server såg inte ut som de ville vara deras och det kände oss som om vi bara var ett besvär för dem. Det är synd att de inte känner behovet av att ge bra service eftersom de vet att folk ska åka dit ändå eftersom öknen och choklad är så bra! Vi har verkligen haft vår mat men lämnade känner sig lite besviken.
