Vi besökte här på vår första gång till New York. 

De var ett. Av platserna som visar fotbollsmatchen. 

Personalen var fantastisk, men priserna var en fullständig rip off.

Vi hade alternativ 2 biljetter och den tilldelade sittplatser var stor, jag förväntade mig inte det. Definitivt gjorde det hela mycket mindre stressande för vår stora grupp! Att komma ut till bollsläppet var en fantastisk upplevelse, och vi gjorde det i tid för att njuta av fantastisk utsikt över bollsläppet. Kommer definitivt att rekommendera detta evenemang!

Vi bokade NYE paketet tar ett språng av tro som en tidigare granskare och medan vi hade en bra tid det var inte ner till McHales. Det var också super över bokad med toalettköer som kör upp till trettio minuter. 

När det gällde bollsläppsorganisation var det en absolut röra de säljer biljetter och vi valde alternativ 3 så över 600 dollar men ger oss en bättre utsikt än de betydligt billigare biljetterna. Vi var färja utanför och tittade på när två grupper av människor med något sämre biljetter eskorterades över, väntade vi tålmodigt som ägare eller arrangör konsekvent sagt till oss att vänta. Vid halv fem bestämde han sig för att skrika åt oss HÄR BORTA NU och slog in vår grupp med de människor som hade betalat ett minimum för biljetter som sa att vi alla skulle gå tillsammans till de mindre bra utsiktsplatserna. När vi blev upprörda över det här och märkte hur vi spenderat hundratals dollar mer kallade han oss lögnare och sa att vi inte hade gjort det trots att våra brickor bokstavligen sa något annat. Vi rusade sedan genom en absolut blodbadsscen. Folk knuffades och var nära slagsmål. Tack vare att vår escort verkligen arbetade hårt kom vi äntligen till en plats men detta var inte tack vare mchales arrangören som också skrek åt oss att om vi inte gillade det kunde vi stanna kvar. När du betalar 600 dollar för basmat förväntar du dig åtminstone att din plats är garanterad. För pengarna är det inte värt stressen i samband. Anledningen till att de får två stjärnor är för den fantastiska inredningen och personalen på plats som inte kunde arbeta tillräckligt hårt.

Droppade in för en drink, satte mig i baren. Bra atmosfär, det såg mycket upptagen för mat (vi hade redan ätit någon annanstans). Personalen arbetade extremt hårt och fortfarande leende. Damen bakom baren var fantastisk att titta på hur hon höll allt i rörelse i en mycket hektisk period. Vi träffade några vänliga människor där inne och slutade stanna ett tag.

Vi besökte från Skottland för New York Celtic supporterklubb för att titta på en match och äta frukost. Vi möttes av personal som var glada och hjälpsamma och vi tittade på fotbollsmatchen och hade lite mat

Frukostmenyn har något för alla - det var 4 av oss och två är vegetarianer och vi hade alla val för mat. 

Vi åt äggsmörgåsen som kom med ost, chips och på en briocherulle för $17 och hade gott kaffe 

Även bacon på Texas toast med chips också - vi njöt alla av det 

Personalen var toppen och vi hade bilder tagna och köpte även lite minnessaker att ta med hem

Jag vet att det är en Manhattan-restaurang. . . men det var inte så bra. Min fru och jag hade en hamburgare och kycklingvingar med vatten. Jag hade två öl och hon hade en drink. . . vår räkning var $ 85. . . vansinnigt dumt. Platsen var inte tillräckligt speciell för det. Servitris (kommer inte ihåg hennes namn, INTE gammal men en äldre dam ledsen), hon var jättebra och gjorde ett bra jobb med att prata med oss. Maten var bra för vad vi hade, återigen ingenting att skriva hem om säkert.

Så jag frågade om vi kunde sitta på övervåningen och nekades. När jag frågade varför min fru och jag inte kunde sitta på övervåningen sa kvinnan faktiskt att andra våningen var för ”speciella människor. ”Vi var båda klädda i business casual, eftersom vi kom från separata arbetsevenemang. Jag frågade igen och kvinnan uppgav att hon ville ge servitörerna en paus.

 Inget av detta gav någon mening.

När hon satt, i området omedelbart intill den trånga, bullriga baren, frågade en servitris om våra beställningar när jag såg folk stiga upp trapporna till andra våningen. Jag frågade om andra våningen var öppen och fick höra "Absolut. ”Servitrisen uppgav sedan att hon skulle fråga ägaren. Denna person tittade på oss och godkände att vi skulle gå till andra våningen.
Det här har faktiskt hänt.
Vi gick upp över trappan när kvinnan stirrade på oss. Vi beställde middag och åtnjöt middag mycket. Min fru hade en hamburgare och jag hade bratwurst-smörgåsen. Båda var väl förberedda och läckra.
