Jag har velat gå till Perrine i flera år ständigt passerar det medan på affärsresa i Manhattan. Jag hade alltid velat prova det och det hade varit på min bucket list. 

När min senaste födelsedag rullade runt bestämde jag mig för att äntligen prova den. Vilken födelsedagsmiddag! Maten och servicen var underbar och min servitör var en riktigt trevlig kille. 

Jag hade tittat på Perrine Burger på menyn de senaste resorna och beställde den med ett osötat iste. Vilken njutning. Det här var ingen vanlig hamburgare. Det var en kombination av prima kött och korta revben och var cirka två inches tjock på en nygjord rulle. Burgaren var perfekt tillagad och karamelliserad. Det var jättegott. 

Till efterrätt åt jag en Apple Galette med nygjord glass. Det var fantastiskt. Söt och syrlig på samma gång med en läcker vaniljsås. Det var den perfekta måltiden.

Jag har sökt efter mer hälsosam matlagning i NYC, jag hittade en hel del i Travelzoo, bestämde mig för att prova, jag bjöd in min klient att gå med på min middag, hon är vegetarian och väldigt glad för vad hon har den trerätters måltid, Jag gillade främst min Black Sea Bass, bara kokta prefekt, men frukosten så så, service bra men helt för dyr! Vi hade middag på restaurangen den här månaden och vad en dissapointment!
Vi hade den dagliga speciella nötkött Wellington och smördeg var "alla" fuktig. Den andra skålen som vi beställde var Malabar räkor curry som skulle innehålla "jumbo" räkor. De var i bästa fall medelstora och naan som serverades var antingen dag / dagar gamla och värmdes upp för vår måltid.
Taj äger hotellet och förmodligen restaurangen också och de kan inte förbereda en anständig indisk curryrätt? ? ? ?

Eftersom vi bodde på Pierre, bestämde vi oss för att njuta av Brunch på Perrine. På vår server var både vänlig och uppmärksam. Vi hade ägg Benedict och ranchero ägg. Tillsammans med juice, kaffe och toast hade vi mer än tillräckligt med att äta. Du kan hitta detta dyrt för brunch, nästan 100 $ utan tips, men maten var värt det. Rekommenderas starkt.

Vi hade frukost flera dagar i rad och en utmärkt middag. Tjänstepersonalen (olika personer vid de två olika servicetiderna) var perfekt. Trevlig affärslunch på Perrine: maten var utsökt men restaurangen själv var lite nedslående. Jag skulle ha kärlek att sitta i det speciella området där de är värd Tea Time, med de målade väggarna.

Vi hade frukost varje morgon av vår fyra natten vistelse på The Pierre och hade en middag för sju en av nätterna. Allt jag kan säga är att allt var perfekt serveras och läckra. Alla våra gäster var glada.

Det finns tusentals bra restauranger i New York, Perrine är inte en av dem

Perrine är en bra restaurang, men jag förväntade mig verkligen bättre. Jag hittade inredningen lite intetsägande. Förrätt, grön gazpacho, var intressant, men jag hittade grillad hummer och friter för salt. Till efterrätt hade jag den varma chokladkakan, och det var utmärkt. Tjänsten var ok, men inte mycket uppmärksam, kanske för att det var en söndagskväll, men jag var tvungen att ringa servitörer mer än en gång. De glömde att ta en sked för min gazpacho, eller fylla på mitt glas vitt vin, vilket inte var vid bordet. Jag var också tvungen att be om en tallrik för hummer skalet. De var trevliga, men tycks vara mer intresserade av att chatta med varandra än att uppmärksamma borden.
