Efter att ha besökt vid ett tidigare besök i New York och haft en bra tid bestämde vi oss för att gå igen, stort misstag, jag har aldrig blivit så förolämpad av den extremt oförskämda killen bakom baren, först ignorerade han totalt min man och jag och sedan när han tittade på oss skrek han åt min man att sitta ner, vilket vi också skulle, vi började prata med en härlig ung man som tog en drink i baren, och han sa att killen kunde vara ganska curt och sedan fortsatte att fråga var vi kom ifrån. Killen bakom baren exploderade med en ung man och sa åt honom att gå ut, när han slängde sin nota på baren, stackars kille allt han gjorde var att prata med oss. Det var skrämmande beteende och ett fall av ”välkommen till New York”, självklart kommer vi inte tillbaka och definitivt inte kommer att rekommendera det.

Min partner och jag åkte nyligen hit när vi var på besök i New York. Det är fantastiskt och väl värt ett besök. Mycket god makaroniost och nachos är också mycket goda. Bra mått whisky också 😊. Min partner sa att hans Guinness också var bra. Mycket välkomnande personal och mycket rimliga priser. Om vi någonsin går till New York igen kommer vi definitivt att besöka igen. Mitt enda förslag skulle vara kanske lite irländsk musik som spelas ibland och detta skulle ge äkta irländsk pubkänsla. 😊

Great Irish - America Bar/Restaurang. Personalen bakom baren är fantastisk och har varit där i över 20 år. Atmosfären är 1970-talet Irish Bar och är en pärla! En klassisk Cheeseburgare med extra - krispiga pommes frites var grym! Perfekt för lokalbefolkningen och turister nära Central Park eller Carnegie Hall. Mycket casual och unbrush lokal.

Välkommen var varmt vid båda tillfällena.
Stort utbud av öl och sprit.
Ät inte här men maten såg bra ut.
Rekommendera definitivt någon som poppar in här för en andning.
Mötte några stora lokalbefolkningen i baren för en chatt också.

Detta är en fantastisk liten pub strax söder om Central Park, priserna är extremt rimliga och välkommen var utmärkt.

 4 av oss 2 vuxna och 2 barn stannade här för en drink och lite mat var det en bred meny men vi hade bara mellanmål och jag älskade ost och bacon pommes frites!

Vi har ofta följt en konsert på Carnegie Hall genom att släppa in den här irländska baren för en drink och ett mellanmål. Men igår kväll beställde vi Jack Daniels på klipporna och fick en drink så liten att det borde ha varit pinsamt att betjäna det. Även isbitar var små - och bartendern kunde ha fått drycken att se bättre ut genom att fylla glaset med is. Vi frågade servern varför drycken var så liten, och han svarade: "Vår hyra var uppvuxen, så vi måste göra tillbaka pengarna." Den stekta calimaren var tuff och snygg också. Synd, en annan plats korsade bort vår gå - till listan.

Vi gick tillbaka från Central Park sent en eftermiddag och bokstavligen snubblat på denna plats. Det såg upptagen med mestadels "after work" publiken och några turister. Vi gick in och hade turen att få ett fönsterbord som tittar på 7: e avenyn, som vi älskar att titta på människor speciellt när de är på semester. Vi fick nachos att gå med vårt vin och det var utsökt! Servitrisen var mycket upptagen, men uppmärksam och vänlig och denna plats hoppade för hela tiden vi där. Pub typ mat som alla andra äter såg ganska bra också, och om vi hade varit hungrig skulle har beställt en fullständig måltid. Som det hände hade vi bara planerat på drycker men när vi såg nachos, var vi tvungna att prova dem för oss själva!
