En helt blandad upplevelse. På plussidan: rummet är vacker, receptionister och servrar var uppmärksam, hjälpsam och mycket trevlig, portionerna generösa. Men maten var inkonsekvent i bästa fall - - en riktigt hemsk krabbkaka, en under - såsad och inte särskilt välsmakande lammragupasta, uppvägd av goda - stora och fint grillade biffar och en utmärkt tegelkyckling (serveras med en snål handfull grönsaker maskerad som en sallad). Desserter var bra, men inget bra. Priserna är högre än köket förtjänar och ljudnivån är på gränsen till raucous; inte den atmosfär du kanske vill ha i en själv - stil exklusiv restaurang. Den allra bästa brunch plats i staden enligt min mening. Jag har varit där varje gång jag hälsar på min dotter och hon och hennes vänner och jag åker. Det är ganska mycket rymligt mellan borden, personalen är mycket vänlig, effektiv och kunnig om alla förrätter. Jag köpte grönsakshaschet Benedict, det var löjligt. Jag rekommenderar starkt blåbär/mandel French toast. Vi beställer till bordet som dessert. En fantastisk plats i Big Apple. Du kommer att tacka mig för den här!

Vi besökte Milling Room innan vi gick till teatern lördag kväll. Vi var ett parti med sex reservationer. De flesta av oss beställde från prix frix-menyn - $ 50 för tre kurser. Jag hade vinter squash soppa som var utmärkt, svamp risotto och choc. mousse. Vänner rapporterade att deras rätter - - Torsk, lax och Campanelle utan fisk var också mycket bra. Viner vid glaset är dyr men generösa hällar höll oss glada! Vi var alla överens om att tjänsten var heltäckande och stimuleringen av vår måltid / kurser var bara bra (något vi verkligen märkte och uppskattade!) Vi åt en tidig middag här före en konsert och vi blev positivt överraskade. Stämningen är enastående! Mysiga, bord var väl fördelade, utmärkt service och menyn hade en mängd olika säsongsrätter. Jag hade squashsoppan och hälleflundra av Maine - båda var förberedda perfekt. Min make hade en hus sallad och en säsongsbetonad pumporisotto och gormade över båda. Vår server frågade om våra kvällsplaner och såg till att vi var serverade och ut genom dörren i tid för vår konsert. Vi rekommenderar starkt The Milling Room och kommer tillbaka.

Älskade atmosfären som det inte var bullriga eller tabeller trångt tillsammans. Tjänsten var mycket bra med vår servitör checkar in med oss flera gånger för att se till att vi var nöjda med maten och behövde inte mer drycker. Jag var här med här med familj till middag och det var härligt. Rummet bakom rummet var verkligen underbart, inte för högt, gott om utrymme. Maten var smaskig.

Detta är en rolig plats med fantastisk arkitektur. Den har ett stort högt välvt tak. Det är kul. Maten är ganska bra, servrarna är verkligen underbara, och den övergripande känslan är "hip". Det enda negativa är ljudnivån, som på en upptagen natt hörs att personen som sitter mitt emot dig är mycket svår. Men då är det här NYC, så vad förväntar man sig på en fredagskväll?
