Jag stannade på en Airbnb nära denna vinbar och jag kunde se att det lockade en bra publik. Åkte dit på en onsdag natt ca 7:30 pm. Frågade om Happy Hour var fortfarande i kraft, flickan bakom baren sade: "Ja till 20.00 . Hon sa att de Malbec var en av de lyckliga Timme drycker. Jag beställde ett glas per gång medan väntar för min vän att anlända. Hon kom 5 minuter senare, så jag ställde en 20-dollarsedel på baren att betala. Jag tror att de hjälper gärna runt meny på den bar's webbplats som nämns en $7 pris. Flickan - Nina G - debiterade mig $12. Alltifrån pratstunden hon var att ha med en annan kund i baren, det förefaller har hon arbetat där ett tag, så hon måste få veta de priser! Eller hon är en moron eller försökt blåsa mig.
Min vän sade att hon tyckte rum var alltför varmt. Rimligt atmosfär, kunde vara mer ett datum plats än där du åka med en grupp att dricka. Stället var ganska mycket tomt. Den Malbec (var franska), var inte till min smak. Så vi åkte två kvarter till Whitman & Bloom som var fullt men vi kunde få två säten på baksidan bar. Den flickan arbetar där var riktigt trevlig, bra service. PÅ båda ställena, Happy Hour is until 8 o'clock. Whitman är trevligare inredning och atmosfär, definitivt det bättre val.
Dessutom, de utsidan av Spetsen Wine Bar är en riktig stänga av. Också 2:a avenue i det området är typ av smutsiga, beat upp som söker. Det en verkligen mycket av vackra ganska bra vinbarer i NYC. Spetsen är inte en av dem.

Vi kikade in här för en drink på julen dagen innan man går på bio.
Baren i sig är verkligen trevligt. Bartendern verkligen visste att hans viner och var nöjd med att svara på frågor. Han var filmer spelas upp på den stora skärmen bakom baren som gjorde en trevlig omväxling från alla andra bar bara visar sport (som från England, jag förstod inte riktigt de flesta american sports ändå, lol).
Det var ganska lugnt där när vi besökte, men jag kan inte riktigt föreställa mig att det skulle bli en "bråkiga" bar - det verkade vara för avancerad för att (utan att vara pretentiös).
Om vi hade inte fått biobiljetter redan skulle vi definitivt bodde här för några fler drinkar
