I just visited their recently opened (yesterday) "Italian Bakery" store which is just around the corner from their regular place. It is tiny and located in the same spot as several previous failed food places (waffles, ice cream, candy, popcorn, etc.). I had a raspberry cannoli and it was really good with sharp raspberry cream filling inside a crisp shell. The price was reasonable for a once-in-a-while treat, and they had other things like cakes and cookies. What I don't quite understand is why they don't just sell these items in their regular place. Why did they lease a separate spot out of the way that is hard to see or find? I dunno, but I wish them well.

I just left there not even 5 minutes ago. I ordered on-line and picked it up. The service was good, the roll was nice and fresh. I ordered a corned beef sandwich. I realize that food is expensive for everyone, but if I paid $11 for a sandwich, it should probably have corned beef on it. These little scraps of meat were insulting. I hear they are supposed to be opening up on the 29th floor of the Corning Tower. They won't be up there long. You have to have access to get up there, therefore, they are limited on consumers. Pretty much only stateworkers can get up there. I'm telling you now, if it's not worth going there, we won't go there.

A Deli/Market in the Empire Concourse say it isn't so!!!! A place to die for; they do their own meats in house, as well as bread and potato chips. There is take out meals, a store and even delicious looking pies. Everything made in house is delicious! This place will be great when they work some of the kinks out. While waiting in the pick up order line (order online or call) my first time there I heard a couple of people coming back because the deli has forgotten their pickle which comes with sandwiches. I ordered the OG Sheri, turkey sandwich (see menu) and took the walk back to my office, yeah the pickle was there yeah!!!! Also delicious chips were there. Will eating the sandwich I finally realized that something was missing hense the coleslaw which was in the sandwich. It definitely needed that moisture and crunch to make it devine. I happened to let them know that they had forgotten it. They were great to accommodate me on my next visit to a free sandwich. Great business tactics. The next day I went back and got the pastrami version (City Slicker ( of that sandwich with yes coleslaw!!!! and sauteed onions.....now that was delicious. Great meat, crunch and textures. I checked out the market and if you work there or in the area they have enough so you can put a meal together or grab something to go. Everyday they are great at posting their specials and take and go dinners on their website and on facebook. I'm hoping they'll add soup specials daily as well or in the near future. I know a lot of people who seem to get just that or with their sandwich. Lookin forward to trying many things.

I've only eaten here twice but both experiences were poor. My first experience was a $9 "Chicken Cutlet Parmigiana" which consisted of a frozen Sysco chicken patty with a couple slices of cheese on a stale bun. The 2nd time I ordered a cheeseburger which to my surprise was ready in under 2 minutes. The reason it was ready so quickly is because it was already cooked and simply reheated. Oh, and my reheated burger costed me $7.50. I won't be giving Logan's a third chance.

This place has become a favorite since the Prime at the Plaza raised their costs significantly. I like how they weigh out their chicken salad and other meats, unlike other ESP locations where your serving size varies depending on who packages the food, since other locations seem skimpy with serving sizes lately. All of the homemade meats I've tried here are delicious. Their pastrami is a favorite! They will make any of their custom sandwiches tailored to your liking. The hot bar has good options too. Warmed up quick meals like chicken tenders and Mac & cheese are regularly available. Check out their dessert case too, it's always full. Lots of delicious cakes, pies, cheesecakes, etc.

Hands down the best place for lunch on the concourse. Sandwiches are always the bomb diggity. I eat here anytime I have to work in the plaza. No point in going elsewhere.

I love Logan's subs and breakfast fare - a lot. Which is why being so disappointed today matters. I got their chicken soup, along with a small roll. This soup - it's so easy to make well and to taste good, but this literally the worst chicken soup I have ever had... It had NO flavor, the vegetables were overcooked to the point of being soggy, the soup was "greasy," and I kept thinking, 'maybe it'll taste better in a moment,' but it didn't - the roll was better than the soup, which I threw out after just a few spoonfuls. Just disgusting, and a waste of my money.

Quietly over the last couple of years, the Empire State Plaza Concourse has been putting together a great assortment of lunch-time dining options. Yet, each of the individual vendors seem to cater to a very specific type of craving, be it Caribbean, sushi, Mexican, or vegetarian. What has been lacking in this area has been a place that could be considered your old standby. Someplace that offers an array of familiar menu items that encourages you to try something new until you find your favorite. Logan's Deli & Market is exactly that type of place and a great addition to the ESP Concourse. Unlike other places in the area, Logan's occupies an actual storefront that you can step into and walk around in. The market portion of Logan's carries a mix of specialty (Saratoga Crackers, local milk, and eggs) and useful (cold medicine, cleaning products) items. This is a great convenience for folks who work in the area, which has long been void of any type of general store. I also spotted homemade pies, fresh fruit, and all types of snacks available for purchase. The store really revolves around the deli counter, which is where you'll order. The menu is appropriately extensive and is filled with lots of homemade items. Starting with the breads, the sourdough, wheat, rye, and ciabatta rolls are all made in-house. Similarly, the meats are all prepared on site, including their pastrami, roast beef, brisket, and corned beef. The ways in which Logan's prepares all of these tasty ingredients speaks to comfort and a little elevation. On my first visit, I had the Joey G's Chicken Salad Sandwich. The chicken used in the salad was cooked on site, in a rotisserie oven (you can also buy whole rotisserie chickens here), which gave it a greater depth of flavor. Add couple pieces of bacon, provolone cheese, cranberry sauce, all stuffed between two thick pieces of sourdough bread and I was very happy. If you're not feeling like a deli sandwhich, you can stop at the hot bar and make a container. On my visit, I noticed that bbq beef brisket, eggplant rollitinis, and mac and cheese were all offered. Perhaps the most significant endorsement that I can give for Logan's is that their food seemed to please everyone in my office. Several of my colleagues ordered and all agreed that praise was in order. I'll return to this review once I sample more of the menu, but Logan's is well on its way to being the top food destination in the Empire State Plaza Concourse.
