På en nylig resa till NYC stötte jag på detta härliga café, perfekt beläget för människor som tittar på hörnet av 142 och 5: e gatan i Brooklyn.

Fabianes ger en fantastisk atmosfär, vare sig du äter ensam, på ett datum, besöker med en vän eller samlar gänget för brunch! Menyn är uppfinningsrik med trevliga vändningar på klassiker (t.ex. Jag gick upp till disken för att beställa (visste inte att den nya Fabianen krävde att du satt när du beställde) och värden såg äcklad över att min vän och jag inte visste att vi var tvungna att sitta först. Jag förklarade att den gamla Fabianes beställning i räknaren för att förklara min handling för värden, och han svarade med ett oförskämt utseende och ett ”nej. ”Då fick han ingen ögonkontakt när han mumlade” inom eller utanför? ”Som vi bad honom att upprepa eftersom vi inte kunde höra honom. Igår hade jag ett fantastiskt smakfullt kroppskallt brygg nästan vilket bryggdes med reservbönor. Detta kalla bryggkaffe var hårt mot gommen och smakade som skålvatten och lämnade en mycket dålig känsla i min mun. När jag tittar på alla deras menyer och den dåliga servicen och HORRIBLE kallbrygg tror jag inte att jag kommer tillbaka.

Jag gick på Fabianes för en brunch och jag smakade här den bästa och varmare espresso i NYC.
Bakverk var läckra och det finns också ett bra val av glutenfri mat.

Vi besökte bara Brooklyn för dagen på vår resa från New York från Nya Zeeland och jag stannade bara för att använda faciliteterna (som var ganska smutsiga) och ostekaket på skärmen fick mitt öga, vilket var en av mina favoritmål någonsin . Jag använde anläggningarna och så diskret nämnde någon som såg ut som om han var i köket som de kunde göra med lite service, inget stort, en korg som överflödde handdukar eller något men han tittade bara på mig som om det inte var hans problem så jag gick till disken och köpte den avbildade ostekakan. Detta kunde ha varit min mat höjdpunkt för hela veckan jag var i New York - wow! Om du är en cheesecake connoisseur, ge det ett steg! Jag kommer att ge ett mycket bra betyg baserat på ostekaket ensam. 2 för service (toalett problem), 5 för mat, 3 för värde som jag inte kan komma ihåg hur mycket det kostar.
