Vi åkte till The Loft Steakhouse i Lakewood, NJ. 
 1 . Priserna, även för kosher mat, var högre än kvaliteten på köttet och måltiderna vi serverades.

 5 . Om du gillar risotto, beställ inte den korta revbens risotto aptitretare. Det var en bit kort revbensspjäll omgiven av soppigt, salt ris. Per definition är "Risotto är inte bara "ris" utan snarare en specifik italiensk maträtt gjord med en speciell typ av kortkornigt ris, typiskt Arborio, Carnaroli eller Vialone Nano, tillagad på ett unikt sätt genom att gradvis tillsätta buljong under ständig omrörning, vilket gör att riset frigör sin stärkelse och skapar en krämig, rik konsistens, till skillnad från vanligt kokt ris där riset vanligtvis bara kokas i vatten.  6 . Den korta revbensförrätten "sås", var valack på tallriken, vilket inte borde vara, och var inte en vacker syn. Det korta revbenet i sig var mört, men saknade smak. Rotselleripurén var bra till matskeden av den som låg på tallriken. 
 7 . Det fanns två läckra föremål. En var den marinerade korta revbensförrätten serverad på krispigt ris och den var perfekt. Den andra var en underbar blomkålssoppa. Den marinerade korta revbensförrätten och soppan hade varit en perfekt middag. 
 8 . Vi reste två timmar för att träffa kära vänner och bjöd dem på middag. Det var pinsamt för måltiden vi serverades och åtgärder av servitrisen. Eftersom vi var med vänner, tog vi inte någon av våra erfarenheter till ledningen.
