Authenticity and exceptional flavors. No notes. Just plan ahead to book reservations especially on weekends as they only have 12 seats (4 at counter and two tables up to 4), absolutely worth the trip. Had been for ramen a few times and finally got to taste their breakfast.

What a peaceful space to experience for Japanese breakfast. The spot is tiny and and seats only a handful of people at once. I got the large set with swordfish and an extra egg dip, and had an amazing breakfast meal. Everything complements each other so well, from the veggies to the fish to the rice to the miso soup. The staff is attentive and explains the process well. Overall, a really relaxing morning meal.

A nice, simple Japanese breakfast that’s healthy and satiating. I enjoyed everything in the set but portions are small. Half a star off for the stringy asparagus — for the price and portions, the fibrous part should have been peeled.

So good.
The ramen is creative and satisfying , especially now that the cold weather is hitting. A warm bowl of soup plus a cozy restaurant is really all I can ask for. It’s fun to watch the chefs’ work flow — adds a level of personality/intimacy that makes the food even more delicious.
If the cauliflower is on the menu, get it.

Timing really is everything. I wasn’t aware how important it is to secure a reservation due to their limited seating. Having walked by several times over the years but never had the chance to check them out. This past weekend I decided to dine in and try their Japanese Breakfast. The host/server was very gracious and allowed me a seat without a reservation. He explained the menu options very thoroughly. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Now onto the food… It was delicious! The flavors, the aroma, the textures… everything came together in this beautiful synergy. Even the tea was superb. The fish (I believe I had the mackerel) was cooked to perfection. The Onsen egg with rice was incredible. I feel very fortunate to have been given this dining experience. Thank you to the staff who did an exceptional job. I am so excited to try out their ramen one of these evenings.

Var uppmärksam! De tjänar och laddar dig maten du beställde inte. Det finns många små rätter i deras måltidssats och de har inte ens en tryckt meny. Du kommer inte ta reda på om en av disken ingår i måltiden eller inte, och de insisterar på att du laddar dig för maten du äter. Servern var mycket oförskämd och höll säger "Men du åt det! ’. Var uppmärksam på dina rätter och uppmärksamma din räkning.

Vi kom hit senare på dagen än vi hade väntat, så frukost blev till lunch. Spelar ingen roll.

När vi anlände hade vi en 30 minuters väntan på ett bord och borde ha gått en promenad eller för en kaffe men istället gick till lös te / handgjord keramikaffär ovan.

Beställa var lätt när vi hade suttit i restaurangen eftersom det enda alternativet var vilken fisk att välja.

Allt var omtänksamt, presenteras artfully och kokades med precision och smakade sublim. Det var ganska perfekt och bland den bästa maten vi åt i NY.

Vi inser inte att det liknar den japanska filosofin, det finns en No Tipping-politik, så det kände mig lite besvärligt som vi var på väg ut ur dörren för att ringas tillbaka, men vi kommer säkert veta för nästa gång.

En läcker, delikat och hälsosam traditionell frukost som transporterade oss till Japan för ett kort besök. Njut av om du letar efter en avslappnad, unik, utmärkt frukostupplevelse.

Tre av oss åtnjutit vår lunch här. Jag hade den bluefish krage som smakade färskt och inte oljig som bluefish kan vanligtvis smaka. Tsukemono av rädisa i underbara färger var kanske min favorit del av måltiden. Portionerna, men ganska små, var utsökt belagda. Tjänsten var utmärkt påminner om vad man skulle uppleva i Japan.

Något annorlunda ! Fantastisk och hälsosam brunch. Förvänta ~ 1 h vänta där de kommer att testa dig 5 minuter före och det finns mycket att göra i området. Miljö är söt och mysig (plats 12), vänlig service. Brunch består av ett val av säsongsbetonad fisk, syltade vegies, ris med möjlighet till ägg, miso soppa som är tyst tillfredsställande.

Maten här var bättre än jag förväntade mig. Väntan är inte så illa heller. Vi kom på 11 : 30:00 on en söndag och det fanns en 30 minuters väntan för 3 . De ta din nummer och skicka en text 5 minuter innan den bord är redo. Sammantaget intim miljö och utsökt mat. Den uni ägg finnas värt det!

Njöt av en perfekt middag med vänner på vår sista kväll i NY av rekommendation från lokalbefolkningen. Maten var EN+, service var uppmärksam och äkta och den skull var beauuuutiful!

Liten pärla i Williamsburg, vad mer kan jag säga? ! Första jag hade en stor frukost där - det kan låta konstigt att ha någon sashimi - stil mat i den morgon men den erfarenhet var bortom vad jag trodde. Det var så bra och intressant att jag kom tillbaka till middag 3 dagar efter. En annan fantastisk upplevelse.

Jag besökte denna morgon precis när de öppnade vid 9am för den japanska frukost. Restaurangen är i en vacker miljö i en små, gamla Brooklyn shophouse. Det finns bara ett tiotal platser så som jag förstår du måste oftast går rätt bort om du vill sitta omedelbart, särskilt på helgen. Det blev ungefär hälften på min regnig vardagar besök idag. Personalen är mycket vänlig och professionell. Frukosten är en fast meny och dessutom får du välja det av flera stilar av fisk, så priset varierar lite (från $19-23 idag; plus skatt mitt totala var $ 27).  Du kan betala kontant, eller betalkort eller kreditkort. Jag valde mackeral pocherade i skull lees, vilket var bra. Sidor variera en hel del, men i dag ingår miso soppa, röda chard, en mycket traditionell både söta och krämig tamago, lätt picklade grönsaker och långa inom spannmål ris. Jag beställde en pocherade ägg i soja sida som en till adderar-på för den ris, som är definitivt rekommenderas. Den server var mycket hjälpsam och förvarade mina varma mugi cha korn te glasfyllda. Jag har fått liknande japanska frukostar i Japan och här i NY, men detta är av mycket högre kvalitet än är typiskt. Intressant nog, på natten förvandlas den till en ramen-inspirerade restaurang.
