Classic high end American Steak House serves premium high quality steak. We wanted to walk across the Brooklyn Bride and take photos at Dumbo etc so we choose to come to this location. The steak was done perfectly to our order. The side dishes were nicely complimenting our steak. Over all experiment here was excellent.

Of course you’ve got to come here at least once if you’re ever in New York.

There’s showmanship involved in serving the steak. That sizzling sound will stay with you for a while. Steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare. The technique is there but maybe they’ve changed the source of their meat? I’ve had better dry-aged beef but it was still good.

The bread basket came in warm and fresh. Liked the everything bagel one with soft butter, dipped in their famous steak sauce.
The classic French fries were cooked perfectly which we all loved. Mushrooms were meaty and the asparagus were crunchy soft.

The desserts were traditionally American - whipped cream and chocolate overload. The chocolate mousse was the winner.

Lastly, service was swift, efficient, accommodating. Thanks to Stephan. The wine he recommended was great too.

Overall, to achieve this kind of consistency and high standard is really hard but Peter Luger is pushing hard in upholding its legacy as a New York institution.

I haven’t been to this place for a long time. The last time I had their steak delivery during Covid, it was as great as eating at the restaurant. Sadly they don’t do delivery any more. I had a chance to come over here with my friends a couple days ago, and I was very pleased as well.

Their food is always of great quality and always delicious! Steak and bacon are their staples, I ordered them every times when I came here. This was the first time I had their dessert, and.. it was so good; everyone was impressed! We literally finished it so fast like we haven’t eaten any food! This is definitely one of the best restaurants for friends, families and all sorts of gatherings to enjoy a great meal together.

The only downside is that they accept cash only, which can be a little inconvenient.
