Jag besökte vänner som bor i LIC medan jag deltog på en konferens på Javits Center och vi beställde avhämtning från denna plats. Helig ko - - smakerna från slog mina strumpor. Vi åkte till middag på en onsdagskväll vid klockan 7:30. Platsen var ganska upptagen och vi var tvungna att vänta på ca 10 minuter. Jag använder kryckor, så i stället för att vi ska kunna vänta lät de oss sitta i ett litet hörnområde vid fönstret.

När vi fick sitt säte tog det oss ca 10 minuter innan någon kom över och erkände oss efter att ha givit oss de första perfunktoriska glasögonen vatten. Det var svårt för mig att komma vidare för att komma till bordet med min kryckor eftersom platsen är så tätt kvartad.

Vi beställde Golden Purse aptitretare att börja. Det var utsökt. Min man beställde Pad Gra - Prow för en entree. Han sa att det var utsökt. Det var ungefär rätt mängd eftersom han inte hade ätit hela dagen. Jag beställde Mango Cashew Chicken med en sida av de ångade risnudlarna eftersom jag inte är en stor risfläkt. Entree var mycket söt, och jag var glad att jag hade risnudlarna att skära sötma lite.

En stadsdel plats precis nära Vernon - Jackson tågstation på # 7, och min fru och jag nya till grannskapet, vi var tvungna att prova det. Jag var mycket besviken på denna restaurang. Jag beställde ett jasminte och fick en mugg varmvatten med en tepåse i den. Och då kom den fruktansvärda maten som var väldigt söt. Jag skyllde mig själv för att beställa kyckling / kokosnötsalternativet men ändå. . . Jag förväntade mig inte att det smakade så sött att det var som en sås för en pudding men de två andra dinersna beställde räksoppa och väntade en stor buljong. . . men nej. . . en skål anlände med knappsvamp flytande på toppen av en sjuklig söt soppa. . . inte snällt. Så frågade en av festen servitören om det fanns socker i soppan som han sa ja och ordnade för vissa lime skivor för att hjälpa till att bekämpa sötmen, men även de hjälpte inte. Som en sista utväg frågade vi om en annan maträtt och soppen togs bort med hoppet om att en nudelrätt kom på väg men ingen samma soppa kom tillbaka!
Ingen ursäkt. . . helt enkelt hemskt. Så om du inte gillar söta goda rätter då skulle jag undvika denna plats.

Vi bodde i grannskapet två nätter och besökte Tuk Tuk för lunch vår första eftermiddag i stan. Det var så bra, vi hade middag där nästa natt.
