Detta är den första restaurangen jag varit på på ett tag där jag fick känna att jag inte var snygg nog för stället. När vi satt fick vi menyer, men inte frågan om vi ville ha en drink. Vi kunde ha sparat oss mycket pengar om vi bara hade haft vattnet. 

Jag bad 3 gånger om en martini. Sist jag frågade sa jag: "Jag bad om en martini för tio minuter sedan" på vilket servitören svarade: "Nej, du bad om den för sex minuter sedan. " Om jag inte hade varit med en vän som jag inte hade sett på länge, skulle jag ha rest mig och gått. 

Det är bullrigt, men maten är mycket bra. Jag går nog inte tillbaka om jag inte måste.

Jag vet inte ens var jag ska börja. De främre värdinnorna var söt utan hjärna. s. Jag hade använt toaletten där innan jag satt mig. Min familj satt och jag frågade en av värdinnorna var min familj satt. Jag gav här bokningsnamnet och hon berättade för mig att hon inte visste var de satt. Efter att ha skannat och tittat igenom restaurangen i 15 minuter hittade jag dem till slut på andra våningen. Servitören var hemsk. Jag sa att min förrätt var kall. Jag ville att han skulle värma upp den och han vägrade att göra det eftersom den ska serveras rumstempererad. Jag kunde inte äta kalla köttknyten i en soppa. Han sa att vi skulle äta det med riset som var extra för övrigt. Frågade efter chef och berättade för honom att servitören hävdade att han inte kunde servera det varmare än rumstemperatur Han frågade om jag ville ha något annat och tog bort det från räkningen Frågade servern för räkningen 3 gånger och han ignorerade mig gå förbi. En vacker lokal, svagt upplyst och träpanel med inbjudande atmosfär men tyvärr kommer upplevelsen till korta. Servicen var långsam och ineffektiv; vi var tvungna att spåra upp servern för grundläggande önskemål som mat och mer drycker. 

Den libanesiska maten var ganska bra men unremarkable, jämförbar med någon standard libanesisk restaurang och för standarden på maten var långt överprissatt. Lammkebaben (se bild) , lämnar lite åt fantasin och kocken borde verkligen tänka på att plåta dem på ett annat sätt! Sammantaget inte riktigt värt ett besök.

Stämningen var verkligen välkomnande, och personalen fick oss att känna sig som hemma. Jag provade deras hummus och lammkotletter, och båda var fantastiska — smakerna var klockrena. Hummusen var så krämig och fräsch, och lammet var perfekt tillagat. Portionerna var generösa, så vi gick definitivt inte hungriga. Det är lite på den dyrare sidan, men kvaliteten på maten och den totala upplevelsen gjorde det värt det.

Restaurangen har god mat och en trevlig atmosfär. Det finns en hel del små tallrikar på menyn så det är en bra meny för grupper. Pitabrödet som medföljer många av rätterna är fantastiskt.

Vår son rekommenderade denna plats för lunch häromdagen medan upp i staden besöker i staden. Super meny, med massor av saker att välja mellan. Totalt sett var maten bra. Min fru gillade hennes baba ghanouj och vår son & jag gillade lammburgare. Andrew var vår server, och även om han var vänlig, uppmärksam och inte auktionerade ut maten, var min burgare beställning rörig. Annars en god måltid. Priserna är par för kursen för staden ($ 7 för en iste) och vi skulle svänga förbi igen.

Vi har varit ett fan av Ilili i många år. Dagens familjelunch för 7 var en besvikelse. Pommes frites var dubbelstekta (brända) , auberginen var för salt, fetoushen hade ingen smak... det är fortfarande libanesiskt autentiskt kök men tyvärr idag kan kocken ha tagit en paus. Slutligen har det blivit så dyrt att det bokstavligen är stråtröveri för vad du får. Små rätter för $$$ och en blandad grillrätt för $ 82 med några köttbitar. Men du får bakat bröd en gång - gå (antar jag för att kompensera för bristen på matserveringar) . Tips: öka portionerna eller sänk priserna. Förbättra smaken.

En härlig plats som verkar användas mycket för dejting! Hur som helst, vi har haft vår tid där. Några av rätterna vi valde var verkligen munvattnande och läckra. Andra var väl presenterade, men hade mindre av en wow-faktor. Sammantaget dock en mycket solid plats att besöka och äta.

Jag hörde så mycket om denna plats och såg fram emot att prova det. Men blev lite besviken. De flesta rätter var kryddig (och inte varnade) och hade mycket örter. Andra rätter var mycket oljiga. Men det är en trevlig atmosfär och platsen är mycket trevlig.
