Korean Fried chicken... One word: Amazing I had the soy garlic and Korean BBQ chicken with seasoned fries. All the food was really good. It's a whole other week and I'm still thinking about that chicken 🍗. I got my friend hooked lol. Must go back. SPICY is really spicy, so beware 😂 (It's still good though)

I needed to grab a quick bite before heading out to the airport. The drumsticks were so big I had to end up packing to carry out.

Service was ok but the food didn't blow us away. The fried chicken lacked flavour. It was supposed to be coated in sauce but the coating was far from adequate. The K fries were a bit meh!

This was our first time ordering from Bonchon. We were not disappointed. We ordered online and the food was ready on time, packaged nicely. Large portions in nice containers, enough for all of us to share what we ordered with each other and have left overs.  The food was hot and delicious. We will definitely order again.

Fantastic, Crispy Korean Chicken!

Setup -- planned to get a few slices at Joe's Pizza on way back to Midtown, but lines were insane, so had our eye on this earlier, but was closed. SO glad we stopped in!!

Food -- big menu and so many things I would have loved to try, but went with Korean fried chicken combo that included 2 drums and 4 wings. Went with the super spicy option and this was heaven on a plate! Not exactly how sure they get it so crispy, but would love some tips for frying wings at home. The breading is tasty, yummy, and perfect bite of spice. It almost has a faint touch of sweetness to it, but the spiciness balances it perfectly. The ranch was not the greatest, but who cares with how amazing this food tastes.

B got the tacos and she got more then she thought. She was assuming the chicken tacos would come out fairly small as most restaurants serve. Nope. They were huge and there were four! These were also great, hitting the taste buds just right. Even though I highly recommend sticking with the chicken, this is also a yum option.

Drink -- standard drink menu. Went with a Sapporo and not sure its ever paired as well as it did with this awesome chicken.

Service -- super helpful and friendly waiter. Happy to explain menu and make recommendations. Very prompt in attending to any needs.

Vibe/Scene -- seated by host behind the bar by calling to waiter in empty tables. Upstairs and downstairs seating available. Simple and straightforward and that's all thats needed when your food is this good.

Value -- excellent value. Wouldve happily paid more of needed for the quality and taste of this food, but extremely reasonable, something you don't see a whole lot.

Summary -- if you're a fan of fried chicken, make a stop ASAP!!

Jag älskar Bonchon, och sedan jag flyttade från NYC kommer jag sällan att hitta bra koreansk stekt kyckling. Det har gått år sedan jag har haft några. Nyligen befann jag mig tillbaka i området och träffade några vänner för att ha stekt kyckling här. Maten och dryckerna är topp A + i min bok, men att äta här är en monumental smärta i rumpan!

Jag vet inte om du kan boka, men var beredd att vänta ett tag. Jag tror att vi väntade nästan en timme på en fredagskväll, även om det var tidigt (cirka 18.00). Vanligtvis verkar restaurangerna inte få det här så tidigt! Kan vara packad hela tiden, för allt jag vet. Vi stod omhoppade i dörröppningen och blev ständigt knuffade av människor som kom och går. Men ändå värt det för mig i slutändan.

Liksom de mest populära restaurangerna i staden, är bord nära varandra och beskydd är grov och kaotisk. Vi hade tur att sitta i ett hörn så det gav oss lite andningsrum.

Soja-vitlöksvingarna är fantastiska, och jag får dem när jag hittar en Bonchon. Så krispigt och välsmakande. De benfria vingarna är INTE lika knasiga som de vanliga vingarna, notera. Jag älskar också deras inlagda rädisor, men de är mer typiska för andra lokala K-stadsanläggningar. Potstickers verkar vara stekt eftersom de kommer fina och krispiga! ! Yum. Det som verkligen avskräckte denna upplevelse var att beställa en soju-cocktail, som (heads-up) kommer i en stor karaff avsedd för delning! Jag tänkte bara beställa en cocktail, vilket innebär en drink, så två av oss drack karaffen och jag kände mig lite värre för slitaget nästa dag (mitt fel dock). Lychee soju-cocktail var trevlig och söt utan att vara alltför cloying.

Du kanske måste vänta lite på maten - inte bara är det galen upptaget, men det var en konstant ström av leverans folk som kommer in för att hämta order. Enligt min mening är det värt det. Om jag minns så finns det (eller åtminstone var) en plats på 32: e gatan som kan vara mindre upptagen - värt att kolla in om du inte hanterar folkmassor / väntar för bra.

Bara hoppade in för en snabb lunch mellan mötena. Fick snabb service på övervåningen. Hade signaturtrummorna (soja vitlök, inlagd rädisa). Allt välsmakande.

Den 3/18/19 beställde jag Bonchons Bibimbap (Koreansk kryddig ris / veggie / köttblandningsfat) genom en kurir och hittade en ingrediens som slutligen hamnade i min tand: En hel skruv. Som någon som äter mycket ut, särskilt på affärsresa (som det här varet), förstår jag att sådana saker ibland händer och att jag var oerhört otur att ha hittat en skruv i min mat och in i den. Smärtan var ihållande som ledde mig till mitt tandläkare kontor och en röntgen bekräftade skadan.

Vad som irriterar mig som beskyddare är inte att jag hittade en skruv i min mat, men att jag har försökt att komma i kontakt med restaurangen och HQ i över 3 veckor nu till ingen nytta. Jag var på väg att resa till NYC för mitt jobb vid tiden och därmed kan jag inte besöka butiken personligen. Hemma, jag har försökt ringa butiken vid flera tillfällen (inget svar och röstbrevlåda inte upprättat) och meddelade HQ två gånger redan med detaljer om händelsen och fick inga svar.

Denna översyn är inte att bash restaurangens andra mat, generalisera hela franchise, eller att rant om mina olyckor. Det är snarare en grund för de som överväger att besöka restaurangen för att ta sina pengar på annat håll, eftersom restaurangens kundservice (brist på det) tydligt visar att de är unapologiska, oroliga och okänsliga för eventuella resultat av deras kunders skada. Det finns gott om andra bra koreanska stekt kycklingbutiker i närheten som kommer att vara mer omtänksamma av sina kunder till skillnad från denna giriga butik som tycks bara bryr sig om sin bottenlinje. Jag hoppas verkligen att ingen annan måste gå igenom det jag gick igenom.

Skulle rekommendera till lunch eller middag när du bor i New York - en trevlig förändring från den vanliga snabbmat som vi hade åt mycket! Vi hade boneless vingar, stekt ris och parmesan pommes frites - alla plattor var tomma lämnar!

Vi åt en tidig middag här och var positivt överraskad att lära sig att alla förrätter var 1/2 av! Vi hade koreanska tacos, takoyaki, fläskbullar och den benfria kycklingen. Allt var helt underbart inklusive vänlig service. Den har en yngre höft asiatisk atmosfär med sport och musikvideor som spelar på 2 stora skärmar.

Jag stannade här med min familj och min svåger in-law (en fest med 8 med 4 hungriga och kalla barn) på en fredag kväll med ingen reservation, och tjänsten var enastående! Personalen arbetade för att få oss ett bord i ett hörn, kommunicera med oss bra under hela vår väntan. Servrarna på övervåningen var (onödigt) ursäktande och arbetade snabbt för att få oss vår mat så snart som möjligt. Eftersom restaurangen var helt full, var detta verkligen uppskattat. Maten var enastående (lite kryddig för ett par barnen, så akta dig för värmenivån) och anledningen till populariteten för denna restaurang var tydligt uppenbart. Detta var ett bra besök, och en rolig måltid, så tack Bonchon Chicken!

Vi letade efter asiatisk mat till middag på vår Xmas besökte i NYC. Restaurangen såg trevligt ut, så vi bestämde oss för att prova. Vi beställer benfri vinge för våra 6 år gammal, det såg ut som en liten fryst nuggets, Teriyaki såser var så salt. Min man beställde kyckling Kazu, kycklingen var över stekt och hårt. Jag beställde nötkött BiBibum, de använde billiga jasmine ris inte ens vanliga sushi ris, och såsen var i påsen som det serveras i den praktiska affären. Allt var hemskt och över priser, vi kommer aldrig någonsin att gå tillbaka igen, och helt rekommenderas inte till någon.

Servitrisen var mycket hjälpsam vägledande oss med våra mat val. Menyn hade ett bra urval av asiatisk mat och det var allt gott. Den kryddiga kycklingen var för varm för barnen men vi åt det och de fastnade i sojakyllan.

Jag går in på denna plats till lunch, och även om de har en ganska bra lunchmeny, valde jag fläskmagelbullarna. Jag har också beställt en sida av avokado.

Inredningen var väldigt cool och mycket New York City. Det fanns en stor bildskärm på väggen, där du kan få prövningar av nyheter, bilder, musikvideor och sociala medier. Platsen var dimly lit utom för pooler av ljus för borden och mycket snygga tittar baren. Jag tror på lunch kan du serveras koreansk stil öl, men jag är inte säker.

Det tog inte lång tid för min server, Gabriel, att tjäna mig min lunch. Fläsk magen bullar var läckra. Fläsken själv är skarp på kanterna och saftiga insidan - precis som jag gillar det. Koreanska slaw var nästan som kimchi och mycket smaklig. Bungen själv var som att äta ett fluffigt moln. Det var fantastiskt! Sidan av avokado var så fräsch, inte en fläck på något av det - smakar så bra!

Atmosfären, tjänsten, maten och den övergripande atmosfären på platsen, gör det till en perfekt plats att äta lunch. Jag kan inte vänta med att komma tillbaka till middag.

Vingarna är fantastiska. Jag är beroende. Även om konsistens ibland inte är närvarande. Ibland är det inte kryddigt eller saftigt eller krispigt nog. Men totalt sett är det ganska bra. Om de kan få dessa konsekvenser saker ner, skulle de vara bäst!

Hade lunch här nyligen. Nudlar rätter var lite smaklös, allt annat var bara ok - inte mycket mer att säga riktigt, ganska underwhelming.

Nyligen hade ett begär för koreanska vingar och bestämde sig för att ge Bon Chon ett försök. Vingarna var super krispiga med saftig, öm kyckling under den smakrika stekan. Jag försökte både heta (inte mycket heta) och soja vitlök (lite söt). Beställningar kommer med coleslaw (bra och söt, men alltför klädd) eller pickles rädisa.
Många andra erbjudanden (sallader, bimbop, asiatisk fusion, stekt ris); Det var dock klart att alla var där för vingarna!
