Cafe d’Alsace is such a sweet charming spot for brunch on the upper east side.  The food leans towards French, but they also have other brunch super star dishes.  You could honestly find something on the menu for anyone.  I had the crepe soufflé - it was gorgeous and so light and fluffy!

Jacqueline served us and she was the *bomb dot com* - very warm and knowledgeable about the dishes.

Overall, the experience was so lovely and I would definitely come back!

Had an amazing meal! Justin provided excellent recommendations and service, and all the dishes and cocktails were delicious. Spanish octopus and the canard were most notable.

As someone who loves French cuisine, I was curious to try Cafe d'Alsace, so my husband and I went there for dinner on Saturday—and it exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely outstanding. All the dishes we ordered were flavorful and perfectly prepared. One highlight was their complimentary bread—round, with the flavor of cheese bread and the texture of a croissant. It was absolutely delicious!

The restaurant’s interior was beautifully designed, with elegant colors and furniture that created a cozy yet refined atmosphere.

Service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. We're so glad we made a reservation, as it was bustling!

The French toast is delicious and other dish is also OK. I’m really disappointed by the service. The waitress mistook my order for my friend, I ordered crab meat omelet for my friend and an omelet with ham was served. My friend finished the dish because we were all quite hungry and don’t want to wait anymore. When we confronted her about it, she accused and insisted that I ordered it wrong which is ridiculous. I think this kind of situation needs to be addressed because I understand the environment was noisy and one can be busy during brunch time. That’s not the reason to lie and not own up to your mistake.

Even worse, we paid the check and stayed for a little longer(around 10 more mins) she literally came back and tried to get us to leave by saying goodbye again, which made me extremely uncomfortable at the time and quite upset. I won’t be dining at the restaurant again and for sure will not recommend to anybody because of this rude attitude and unpleasant experience. The service is way below the standard. And certainly not matching the food.

I had a wonderful dining experience during Restaurant Week. The menu was impressive, and I particularly enjoyed the rich flavors of the pheasant sausage and the delicate seared skate fish. Åtnjöt en härlig lunch med Långa vänner under Restaurangveckan. Aptitretare var bra. Vi har haft en av följande: Sammen och Tatta, sommarsallad med babyspenat, gnocchi med fetaost eller sparrissoppa. Alla var utsökta. Förrätter njöt han av kyckling med potatismos, läckert tillagad fisk, eller korta revben. Servicen med Kevin var fantastisk. Maten var så god och mättande att vi inte åt efterrätt. Vi måste gå tillbaka igen.

Alltid en fantastisk upplevelse att äta på Cafe d’Alsace. Maten är alltid gedigen och i kombination med en enastående vin- och öllista kan du inte gå fel. Det finns också en vin- och ölsommelier som hjälper dig att navigera. En fantastisk, vänlig personal gör denna plats ett måste. Också bara 5 kvarter från Guggenheim Museum IT är perfekt för brunch, lunch eller middag.

Det ser ut som om det anrika Cafe D’Alsace närmar sig slutet av sin livslängd. Jag har gått på det i kanske 15 år. Den Franska Löksoppan har alltid varit en pålitlig basvara. Det var OK - bara OK den här gången. Men resten av måltiden var knappt genomsnittlig. Jag åt tagliatellepesto. Pastan var överkokt. Pesten var soppa utan spark. Du kan få mat bättre än så här i en av de smutsiga gamla kaféer på andra avenyn. Jag hatar att vara helt negativ så jag ska säga något positivt. Brödet var utmärkt. Crusty. Och serveras med riktigt smör som det ska vara. Jag vet inte vad som hände ikväll. Den vanliga kocken kanske var på semester. Men, Cafe D’Alsace, alltid ett solitt be+ ställe, fick C - ikväll. Jag bor på 73rd och kan inte säga att jag kommer att vandra tillbaka dit snart.

Bra mat och service i en väl - utsedd atmosfär. Påminner mig om L”Express med bättre stämning. Menyutbudet var varierat, men kunde ha haft lite mire specifika elsassiska rätter - den enda anledningen till att jag inte gav restaurangen 5 stjärnor.

Vi hade precis en baby shower brunch för vår dotter för 22 gäster och är mycket nöjda vi fick reda på att Cafe D'Alsace har en underbar händelse utrymme på baksidan av restaurangen. Rummet är en trevlig storlek och mycket attraktiv. Vi använde deras gäng eventmeny som var en komplett måltid med ett antal valmöjligheter till huvudrätten. Maten och servicen var enastående. Vi hade också ett drinkpaket av Bellini's och Mimosas som var ett trevligt alternativ till en helt öppen bar. Vi fick mycket positiv feedback från våra gäster och rekommenderar starkt detta café för små till medelstora privata evenemang.

Jag hade min frus överraskningsfest här. Vi hade 20 personer i ett privat rum. Jag hade val av tre menyer alla hade tre rätter plus dessert. De gav mig tre olika viner och tog betalt för flaskan. Det fanns minst fyra servitörer och servrar hela tiden. Servicen var helt felfri. Jag kunde ta med min egen födelsedagstårta och hade fortfarande desserten från menyn. Jag har inga klagomål.

Trevligt kvarterscafé som definieras som en fransk bistro. Portionerna, även om de är välsmakande, är tyvärr små. Vi beställde havsabborre, men behövde bokster upp den med lite grönsaker och pommes frites. . . men crème brule var mycket bra. De har en trerätters prix fixe meny för 58 dollar, vilket jag tycker är värt det. à la carte skulle jag föreslå hamburgaren.

3 generationer hade brunch här och vi var varmt hälsade och snabbt visas till vårt bord. Snabb service och enastående meny. Vi beställde flera olika omeletter, ägg Benedict.
