What an incredible experience! I brought my 18 year son and my boyfriend. We enjoyed every comedian, definitely had our favorites but the line up was amazing. I would recommend to go over and over again. A true New York gem.

AMAZING! My husband and I went to both the 9:30 and 11:30 shows and had an unforgettable experience. I love how intimate the room feels, like you’re in some exclusive club. The comedians on Sept 24 were just absolutely hilarious but the content isn’t for someone who is not able to let loose. The crowd also makes the show, so I don’t recommend going if you don’t have an open mind. We also got the shock of our night having Louis C.K. take the stage!!

We love coming here and the comedians are always hilarious. The host has the crowd amped up and is always on point. We have seen some of the best comedians here, all kinds of comedy too. Whenever we are in NYC, which is a few times a year, we come here every night we're in town. Highly recommend.. best comedy clubs in the country.

Such a cool place to go to! Inside is very intimate and cozy - maybe too much, since we were elbow-to-elbow with strangers, but everyone was fine with that.

We made reservations ahead of time, but the seating is first come first serve. You'll definitely get a seat, but you won't get to choose. There's a 2 item/person minimum (food counts!) with a $14/person cover, which I think is reasonable.

I'll definitely be going back on a night with new comics, and getting there earlier for a better seat.

Had the best evening at the comedy cellar. Great dinner upstairs at olive tree, was able to get into a sold out show by getting there early and following the rules, and throughout the whole evening the staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, patient, and amazing at their jobs. Also the lineup was incredible!! I laughed so hard and left very happy. Can’t wait to go back.
