We chose it for it's proximity to Rockefeller, and recommendations for gluten free menu items. The antipasto and pizza were phenomenal.  I couldn't believe how incredible a job they did with gluten free.  So delicious.  By far the best gluten free pizza I have had.

I absolutely love this place in NYC! I've been twice while visiting NYC. The gluten free pizza is absolutely DELICIOUS and actually tastes like REAL PIZZA! I haven't found anywhere besides NYC and Italy where there is actual real crust that's gluten free. I would absolutely recommend eating here and will definitely be back!

Don Antonio is truly a class apart! What a fantastic place—the staff was incredibly courteous, the food was delicious, and the ginger ale was amazing. They offer plenty of vegetarian options and so many *different* pizza choices. Honestly, it’s one of the best pizzas we had in New York. A lovely touch was the cute postcard they gave us with the check, which really added to the experience. It’s more on the fine dining side, but definitely worth it. You might want to make a reservation—we didn’t, but we got lucky. Super impressed and happy with our time here!

We came to the city back in February of this year and came across this place and haven’t not stopped thinking about it sense. It’s has revolutionized my opinion of good food. My wife and I talked about this place everyday for months until we flew back this weekend solely just to eat here. We ate here twice this weekend and maybe again before we fly out this evening. I cannot express how incredible the food is. Everything we ate was amazing and the gluten free options are 10/10. Can’t wait to come back to eat here again!

Det här stället hade varit på min lista ett tag och jag kom äntligen dit på min födelsedag - det var utmärkt! menyn är lite förvirrande hur det är upplagt men det finns massor av val. Jag brukar få vanligt men alternativen såg så bra ut - jag gick med prosciutto och svamp, vän fick korv. pajerna kom ut snabbt och servern var vänlig. pajer hade trevlig röding, bra kvalitet pålägg, god sås, och var anständig storlek. Jag avslutade min och var full. pris är inte billigt men också rimligt för platsen och kvalitet, ca $ 25 vardera. vi båda kände skorpan kunde ha kokats lite längre, eftersom det är mycket tunn och var lite för floppy - men detta var en mycket liten punkt, vi båda älskade det och kommer att återvända.

Från ta på en Aperol spritz (Oj då! Jag tappade en Peroni) till pistaschpeston och korvpizzan - allt var fräscht och smakrikt (men inte salt).

Vi stannade vid Don Antonio efter ett besök på Broadway Comedy Club. Restaurangen ligger bara ett kvarter utanför Broadway, så ganska lätt att hitta. Det var livligt men vi fick en plats i baren — Servicen var bra — ännu viktigare, så var pizzan! Vi beställde en margherita (imo, den bästa pizzan att testa kvalitet — det är enkelt men svårt att få rätt. Hur som helst, det var perfekt, liksom salsiccia. Också haft mozzarella och prosciutto aptitretare — mozzarella var färsk från Italien. Rekommenderar starkt!

Detta är en underbar pizza / Italienska restaurang i ett utmärkt läge. Vi åt handkastade och vedeldade pizzor och en härlig och fräsch sallad. 
Vi behövde något nära vårt hotell, eftersom vi just hade kommit till staden och checkade in. Läget är promenadvänligt från Times Square/Teaterdistriktet. Jag förväntade mig kanske en gammal vibe, som många platser i det området har, men detta är en ren, uppdaterad utrymme. 
Servicen var utmärkt! Mycket vänlig, hjälpsam och i tid. 
Det fanns många alternativ för olika pålägg och kombinationer. Och pizzan var så god att vi fick en to - go box och tog resterna tillbaka till hotellet. Vi hade kall pizza till frukost, vilket var bra, och räddade oss från att behöva köpa en dyr frukost någonstans!

Jag såg verkligen fram emot att prova Don Antonio, med tanke på dess rykte och bästa läge i New York City, men tyvärr visade det sig vara en av de värsta pizzaupplevelser jag någonsin haft i staden. 

Medan pizzan kom ut snabbt, det var det enda positiva. Skorpan var blöt – mer som vått papper än något annat som liknade en riktig skorpa – och osten var överväldigande fet. Hela pajen var en slarvig, oätlig röra. Jag har ätit napolitansk pizza hundratals gånger, både i NYC och utomlands, och detta var inte i närheten av acceptabelt. 

När jag uppmärksammade min server på problemet blev jag avvisad med förklaringen att ”det är så här napolitansk pizza är”. Det är helt enkelt inte sant. Jag bad att få tala med chefen, som var märkbart oförskämd och avvisande. Även om hon gick med på att ta bort pizzan från min faktura, erbjöd hon aldrig en enda ursäkt eller visade någon oro för den dåliga kvaliteten på maten. 

Med så många otroliga pizzerior i New York City rekommenderar jag starkt att skippa Don Antonio. Nästan alla andra pizzeria i staden skulle vara ett bättre val.

Sammantaget en stor pizza, fullt jämförbar med en italiensk. Bra baspasta, bra ingredienser på toppen, pris (med tanke på NY genomsnitt) , ganska bra, och mycket bra service. Rekommenderas starkt

På vägen tillbaka från teatern såg vi denna restaurang och bestämde oss för att gå in. 
De var ganska upptagen men servicen var snabb och vänlig. 
Pizzan var utsökt! Vi var inte alltför glada över salladen men den övergripande maten var bra

En härlig pizzeria bort från de livliga gatorna men inte alltför långt från Times Square. Mycket vänlig och hjälpsam personal samt mycket välsmakande pizzor!

En av de värsta matupplevelser jag någonsin har haft. Inom 5 minuter efter beställning pizzan var vid bordet. Det var ljummet kallt. Den hade hettats upp. Skorpan var mosig gummi, och påläggen knappt varma. Vi frågade när vi beställde om vi kunde ha lök dessutom, och parmesanost när den kom ut. Båda önskemålen besvarades med nej, tydligen har de stockpizzor i ryggen redan tillagade och bara slänga några pålägg på dem och värma upp. Vi äger en lägenhet här och kommer aldrig att komma igen.

Jag har glömt hur många gånger vi har ätit här. Alltid bra mat och service. Blir väldigt upptagen och de packar verkligen in folk, men strunta i det och ha jättegod pizza!

Fantastisk pizza, besökte igår kväll, personalen var bra, härlig atmosfär och maten var fantastisk. Definitivt kommer att återvända innan du går hem

Fantastisk glutenfri pizza, den smakade inte ens glutenfritt! Det var ljust och luftigt med en tjock skorpa, och även samma storlek som de vanliga pizzorna vilket är ovanligt! Kommer definitivt tillbaka när du besöker New York!
