Felix was honestly a solid spot. The food was pretty good and so were the drinks. The highlights for me were the steak frites and the Aperol Spritz—both definitely worth ordering.

That being said, the space felt a bit too cramped for my liking. If you're a single young woman looking to cross paths with your dream 6’5", blue-eyed finance bro, this is definitely the place to be—and to be seen.

But since I already have my own 6’5", blue-eyed boyfriend, I felt slightly out of place. This isn’t your laid-back, cutesy brunch spot for catching up with a girlfriend. It’s more of a scene.

I’d come back for a double date or to throw a birthday brunch, especially since the location is in the heart of SoHo.

The establishment is clean.
The music is very loud. And the tables are extremely close together. Might as well sit at one big community table. But I guess that’s nyc for you, am I right?!

The server wasn’t nice. He was quite dry and when he wasn’t dry, he was rude. Maybe he thought it came off playfully, but I didn’t feel that.

The food isn’t good. lol because no one’s plate looked really appetizing (as we walked to our table scoping out the place and food) we figured to all get the same thing that looked the most appetizing. Steak and fries because how could you mess up meat and potatoes? lol well this place did. The skirt steak was dry and rubbery and I asked for medium and my friends hot medium rare. It was just tough, oddly enough.
Crab balls. Save yourself and don’t get it. They tasted like some store bought frozen food aisle snack that someone would buy and eat on a desperate night. The “Asian” sauce that’s drizzled on top is awfully sweet. I think the best thing was the soda and French onion soup that smelled amazing as soon as the cheese topping was broken. Everything else. Bleh. Not worth it.

Just loud and unseasoned.

Wayy over priced. $200 for 2 breakfast entrees and a pitcher of mimosa that was way more OJ than champs. Also the tvs in there were surprising. Service was really nice. Really crowded inside. You’ll be elbow to elbow with another table.

Felix has surprisingly good food and amazing service for a place I only associated with their turn up brunches. The owner Thea and her whole team have created an awesome vibe that feels like France or any other part of the word that’s not NYC.

I only have known them for their world famous Saturday brunch party which after coming back 10 years later is just as fun, if you’re into loud music, magnum bottles of rose and endless birthday celebrations every 20 minutes. Come for that if you’re into a party, otherwise just come for the food.

When we arrived for our 7 pm dinner reservation at 6:55 we were told by the door man that there were multiple birthday parties going on but, they would be ending any minute.  That the loud music would go down and change over to dinner music and a dinner atmosphere.

Felix advertises as a fine Fine French restaurant, charging prices that would reflect this.  We were expecting a nice dinner atmosphere yet found ourselves seated right next to the dance floor.  I had my head and back bumped multiple times.   I asked to speak to the manager who arrived and didn’t really care to hear my concerns about the extremely loud music and sitting at the edge of the bar turned dance part.  He said it’s been this way for 20 years and walked away. This restaurant takes your credit card information at the time of booking so you are stuck with no choice but, to stay and endure this frat party.  A group of 12 girls were littering dancing on their chairs at the table next to us.  A nice lady moved our seats half way through our entree and topped off our Prosecco.  I however, don’t feel I should have been charged a penny.  Our waiter never came back to see how we were but, I still gave him a 20% gratuity.

I would absolutely NOT recommend this unless you’re a 21 year old or one of the old creepy men there trying to pick them up.

The food was mediocre at most that should only have a ten dollar price tag.

Vi hade Tony som servitör och han var den mest oförskämda servitör jag någonsin haft. Han var snorig, han grälade med mig och han
Min man bad om ett glas för sin öl och han sa att du har ett, min man sa att det är ett vinglas och han knäppte tillbaka och sa att det är allt vi har användning för det. 
Han förstörde vår tid för att han var så otäck

Vi hade bokat ett bord som var bra som var mycket mycket upptagen. Denna plats brukade vara mycket bättre, igår kväll var det bortskämd av alltför hög house/dans musik som var jarring med lokalen och mat. Så synd. 
Maten var ok. Pate till att börja var bra och brödet är utsökt. 
Steak frites var så - så. 
Anka confit var så - så, gratäng dauphinois och friseesallad var ganska trevligt men hela tallriken var mycket salt (och jag gillar ganska salt mat men detta var lite mycket) 
Modellöl kom ut inte tillräckligt kallt. 
Brukade gilla denna plats men kommer inte att rusa tillbaka.

Bra läge och atmosfär - hemsk service! Väntade över 30 minuter för en drink medan du satt i baren. Personalen är mer angelägen om att fylla baren än att vänta på kunderna. Istället för att vänta på oss blev vi ombedda att flytta så att servern kunde komma in i ett skåp bakom mig.

Överhypad scen. Oförskämd värdinna som är klart överväldigad. Visade oss till ett bord för 2 som saknade en stol. Det tog för lång tid att få stolen. För länge för att ta emot vår beställning. För länge för att hämta vattnet. Var tvungen att be om mer vatten tre gånger. Maten är bra men definitivt inte bra - massor av bättre brunch ställen. Vet inte varför den är så populär. Eller varför de tar så många reservationer när de tydligt överväldigas av angreppet.

Det fanns en bugg i min väns drink och servitören var som “vad vill du att jag ska göra åt det?” och var helt oförskämd mot oss utan anledning och vägrade att ge henne en ny drink. Jag tänkte: ”Förväntar du dig att hon ska dricka resten?” Och han var som ”hon har redan varit.” medan det fortfarande fanns mer än hälften av drycken kvar. Han var äckligt oförskämd. Gå inte hit. Kryp. Hemsk service.

Felix är en av mina favoritplatser i New York City. Är stort, öppet, naturligt kit. Mycket bra rätter, pasta och etc. Mycket bra uppmärksamhet. Inte så mycket dyra. . .

Kom av Felix av en slump och släppte in för att uppleva en trevlig middag.
Vi hade stekfriter och både kött och pommes frites var väl förberedda och bra.
Tjänsten var genomsnittlig men okey.

Charmig plats med utmärkt mat, rimliga priser, bra service och bra atmosfär. Kändes som om vi var i en bistro i Paris.

Det är ett måste i NYC! Stor plats, fantastisk mat och härlig service! Tonfiskartartare har varit min fauvorit i flera år!

Jag var med min familj tillbringade en trevlig eftermiddag tills en av servitriserna berättade att vi skulle lämna eftersom vi redan hade tillbringat två timmar på restaurangen! ! OTROLIG! ! ! Servitrisen var oförskämd och använde obsce ord eftersom vi inte ville lämna! ! Vi köpte en tre Lts. vinflaska, lunch för sex personer, vi bad om en ny vinflaska och de kräver att vi bara kom ut utan anledning! ! ! Om jag är två timmar på en restaurang som inte konsumerar skulle jag förstå situationen, DETTE VAR INTE VÅRT FALL! ! Mina vänner, tro mig, du vill inte ha det dåligt att åka dit.

Jag är inte säker på varför de negativa recensionerna om tjänsten. Vi var där på en torsdag kväll och tjänsten var bra. Maten var också bra. Jag skulle verkligen gå tillbaka igen.

Alla säger att det är en bra restaurang, men det är inte tjänsten som är värst och u kan inte ens betala med kreditkort, kontrollera att det är vero högt, du kommer att betala en botte vatten 10 $ och tipset är obbligatory av 20%, men jag spelar om tjänsten, det är inte bra

Felix är alltid på vår lista när du besöker New York. Vi gjorde en reservation för brunch klockan 10, eftersom det brukade vara alltid packade. Kom lite sent och blev förvånade över att vi var de enda gästerna på en lördag! Vi fick ett trevligt bord och beställde mat och dryck, som kom snabbt, men personalen var inte särskilt vänlig, aldrig log och talade bara när du frågade. Vi kände oss som att vi störde hans annars fredliga lördag! Fler gäster kom senare, men platsen var fortfarande mer än hälften tom när vi lämnade runt 12.00. Tjänsten vägrade att ta med mer än två flaskor vin till ett bord på 8 eftersom "jag ska inte bära det". . . vägrade att fortsätta tjäna oss om vi inte beställde en 3 l flaska snarare än en 1. 5 l. Förvaltningen ska vara generad, tjänsten var äckligt och grunt.
