Very lovely, inviting space with great brunch options. Their free banana bread for the table is fresh and excellent!

Coffee is strong, portions are generous. The tornado omelette was a special highlight.

An all time favorite restaurant.  I love the consistency.  Food is fantastic.  Service and ambience on point.  My favorites are their burgers and plate salads, but everything at Houseman tastes great!!

Food came a bit slow despite it being quiet. The steak and fries got lots of rave reviews on here, but I thought they were just decent, not particularly memorable.

This is my favorite, absolute top choice restaurant in NYC. It has wonderful food, friendly and knowledgeable staff that make you feel so welcome, and fabulous wines and cocktails. I recommend it to everyone, and bring out of town guests here whenever I can. It's rare to find a place that holds itself to such high standards for food, beverage and service that still has a laid-back and super chill vibe. I've never had anything less than a wonderful experience at Houseman.

Came for brunch - possibly the most slept on in the city; food is incredible. We’ve been for dinner a few times and always really liked it, but the inventiveness of the brunch cooking is outstanding. Tornado egg & Chilaquiles were standouts for us. Server was a delight, coffee was great, ambience relaxed and Sunday perfection - such an easy 5*
