I've never had omakase before, but I'm glad my first experience was at Kura. I went with 16 pieces and the sake flight. Each dish was unique and excellent, and the freshness of each piece was undeniable. The fatty tuna and salmon literally dissolves in your mouth. The service was also thoughtful and attentive.

This was probably the best sushi I've ever had. I wish I could've taken the time to take better/more pictures without feeling so uncultured. Can't wait to come back for the 20 piece.

A 15-piece omakase dinner for $125. I loved some of the more unique pieces here including conch, mantis shrimp, and saltwater eel. The full meal comes with a complimentary appetizer, a hand roll, a tamago piece with the restaurant’s name printed on the top, miso soup, a small dessert (macaron), and green tea. They also give you a little surprise for your birthday or special occasion so definitely worth checking out!

My first omakase experience and I have to say it was AMAZING! I’ve never been a huge raw fish person but I ate every piece of the 15 the chef set on my plate! They were all so fresh and literally melted in my mouth. No extra soy sauce or wasabi were needed because each piece was balance perfectly. The server that seated us and kept our waters full was also very nice and professional. Water was never below half way and no trash was left on the table for more than 2 mins.

DEFINITELY WORTH AND CANT WAIT TO GO AGAIN!

This is hands down the best omakase I’ve ever had in my life! Even compared to omakase in Tokyo!!! The owner was the cutest Japanese man ever. The chefs were really funny and sweet. The fish was so fresh. And the dessert mochi was heavenly. I can’t wait to go back!
