I had to check and see of it was worth the hype.

I'm not a big banana pudding person because the banana texture is unpleasant to me.

For Christmas, I picked up some cupcakes to take to my family as I dropped in for the holiday visit.

The cupcakes were a mix of double chocolate, chocolate with vanilla icing, and vanilla. The best of these was the all vanilla which was softest and taste the most fresh. The chocolate ones must have been baked earlier and put in the cooler because they were somewhat dry.

The highlight you surprise was the banana pudding! Yes, it's worth the hype. Yes, it's worth the wait! I waited 30 minutes to get inside and then once inside it went fast. Helpful team who are also as patient as they can be with that many people.

Overall, it as become part of the NYC experience. Do go. If you don't like banana texture, just eat around them. It was so good! A Plus Recommends!

We walked out with a delicious selection: carrot cakes, a vanilla cheesecake with blueberry topping, plain vanilla cheesecake, their iconic Banana Pudding, and cappuccino. Let me start with the cappuccino—it wasn’t just a drink but an experience. Creamy, rich, and expertly brewed, it paired perfectly with the desserts awaited us at home.

Each dessert was a masterpiece. The cheesecakes were creamy perfection, striking just the right balance of sweetness. The carrot cakes? Moist, flavorful, and spiced to warm your soul on a winter night. And that famous Banana Pudding? Lived up to the hype—layers of velvety goodness that melted in your mouth.

The banana pudding does not disappoint. It is so fresh,  creamy, flavorful, simple and delicious.  It's also the perfect amount of sweetness. This location had a long line to get in, but it was worth the wait. The banana pudding is the most popular item and there's a separate line to order it versus other bakery items.

I of course had to order their famous classic banana pudding. Let me tell you, I usually do not order popular tourist foods but this is definitely worth the hype. I’m sure other banana puddings from other bakeries are just as good but this was also very delicious. There were also other desserts that looked amazing but I will try them next time. The line was a little long but it goes by very fast. I highly recommend!!

From the UK, I thought this was delicious. I went first thing in the morning. Very short queue with really little wait time. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The banana pudding was to die for. Nothing like I’ve tried before. I’d recommend the smaller size as it can get sickly sweet. Would go back!
