Food is solid, my review is more towards the staff. There is a religious man with a beard who works there who doesn't particularly care about my order when he takes it. Multiple times he has delayed my order because he starts talking to the next person. He took my order for a pasta, put it on the stove, then decided to become cashier. I waited long enough to notice my food was starting to smoke. I didn't even bother telling him, since he's got an attitude. I walked out. Then decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, I walked back in two minutes later to see my dish was no longer there. He paid attention to it after the fact, but not when the customer was standing in front of his face. Terrible service, but good food. I have never had a complaint over the taste of their food.

This place is like the girl with the curl in the middle of her forehead … when it’s good it’s very very good and when the service is bad… we came at 3 pm and it was packed .. the personal pizza is fresh and delicious!  I asked about getting the breaded eggplant panini with the sauce cheese and eggplant on a plate to which the worker barked no only in panini and then…. The remarkably friendly gentleman (mashgiach ?)at the cash register area heard my request and made it for me on a plate and heated it in the microwave with a smile. Lovely service!! The salads are popular here and looked very fresh and very ample portions. They had run out of seltzer which in a kosher cafe is kinda like running out of salt in my Opinion. The tables are knee to elbow so don’t expect to have private conversations here- but it’s great place for eavesdropping.. very central location

My server demtrice was super accommodating and very professional. his knowledge of the menu helped me and my grandmother choose the perfect dish for my grandmother to eat since she can’t have a nothing with gluten! we’ll definitely be coming back again for brunch. 😇

Came on Friday brunch time. was packed, still had seating. Got the white sauce pizza and potato broccoli cheese soup. Was delicious. Great cafe with large variety to choose from. Salads, sandwiches, sushi, panini, pasta and salmon. Reasonable prices for midtown. Glad I came here and u should too. Enjoy.
