The staff is amazing beyond knowledgeable and service friendly. The choices are crazy. Literally can try everything and they are happy to do so. They will explain everything to you. Three times even. Great flavor combos. I tried the new turkey cranberry just to try and feel for it so delicious. The cookie dough was also my choice and didn't regret anything!!!!

I first tried Salt & Straw in LA a few years ago and have been waiting for it to come to NYC. It’s easily one of my top ice cream shops I’ve tried. The flavour options are unique and completely work, even the ones you wouldn’t expect. I had the Arbequina Olive Oil ice cream and it’s so good. The texture is smooth and silky, with an earthy, yet still sweet taste. I’m going to be coming back to get this one very frequently.

The pistachio & ricotta flavour was also good. Everyone that works here is super friendly and they’re very encouraging of letting you try as many samples as you want.

This was hands down the best ice cream I’ve ever had! When we arrived in the evening, there was still a huge line waiting for this amazing treat—but it was so worth the wait!

I could go on and on about how delicious the honey lavender ice cream was. It wasn’t just fragrant and sweet; you could really taste the subtle notes of honey and lavender in every bite!

However, the real star of the show was the waffle cone. If you come here, you have to get the waffle cone! They hand-make their cones, and you can tell just how much care and skill goes into them. The waffle was light, airy, and perfectly crunchy—an ideal complement to the cold, sweet ice cream. Honestly, I don’t think there’s a better pairing!

Not only was the food incredible, but the service was top-notch. They let you sample flavors without rushing you, and the staff were so kind and patient, offering great flavor recommendations. Plus, they really pack your cone with ice cream!

I can’t wait to come back and try more of their delicious flavors! This was absolutely worth it!

Visited this new open gem to grab some ice cream. They have a variety of limited editions and usual menu of ice cream flavors. Yes, some options are vegan.

Atmosphere was a bit chaotic because of the long time but the team is friendly and attentive. The guy with the cap made a few suggestions and shared his favorite flavor which was super appreciated.

Their waffle cones are absolutely delicious. I for one don’t enjoy waffle cones too much but their crunchy yet soft texture makes so much sense.

Definitely recommend if you’re in the city or in the UWS for some ice cream.

Amazing ice cream spot with super friendly staff and unique flavors like Pastrami on Rye and Olive Oil. The shop also offers ice cream flight, take away pint, merchandise, and encourage you to try all their fun flavors being buying! No sitting table but there are a few standing counter you can use for dine-in. Salt & Straw is a great add to the neighborhood for your sweet selection!
