I have been to this place a few times over the past year or two. I give four stars ONLY because the food is delicious. You can tell that this is as authentic as it gets in the area. The flavors are there and the lunch special price is great. However, the space is TINY. It actually feels like everyone is in each other's conversation, and there is an unspoken pressure to be in and out quickly as others are usually waiting to be seated.

Given the size of the place, I think they would be better off connecting all of the tables and serving everyone family style haha. Nevertheless, I will continue stopping by for a bite to eat when I am in the area around lunch time.

The food was decent but the service is lousy. I tried to order from the lunch special and the woman working the register when I entered the restaurant at 3pm doesn’t speak English so she didn’t understand anything I said even as I pointed to their menu. As I waited for my food, I sensed enough time passed but she was, of course, on her cell phone and didn’t bother to check to see if my food was ready. I had to ask her to check on my order as I had to go to work. I was looking forward to good food and service here but she ruined it. I won’t be returning.

Matkvaliteten är rimlig, jag skulle vilja kalla det genomsnitt. Men delarna, åtminstone för min sömlösa on-line order är skratta. Min man ville äta thailändsk mat på denna resa till New York och hittade denna plats. Min dotter är lite picky eater, men hon sa att hon kunde hitta något på menyn som hon skulle njuta av. Vi stannade vid klockan 12:30 på en lördag och hittade bara ett annat par som äter där. Utrymmet är litet och erbjuder flera nivåer av sittplatser - vi satt i en monter. Vi hittade var och en något som vi trodde att vi skulle njuta av. Maten besviken inte. Fästman beställde röd curry kyckling - maten var varm och kryddig - och han sa att det var bra. Jag hade kycklingkudden Thai och det var också bra. Dotter hade bläckfisken och delen var trevlig och tillräckligt stor för att vi kunde njuta av några stycken tillsammans med henne. När vi åt började restaurangen långsamt fylla. Personalen verkade trevlig och mat kom ut ganska snabbt med dem uppmärksamma våra vattenglas och påfyllning vid behov. Jag kan bara tänka mig hur upptagen den här platsen blir under arbetsveckan - men på lördagen var det trevligt och långsamt. Sukumvit är en liten restaurang på 51 street street mellan andra och tredje vägar. Ser ut som det skulle ha plats för 25 till 30 personer max. Det är en av många sådana platser som tillgodoser mitten av stadens lunch- och middagsmassor. Även på en helg verkar det vara trångt. Det finns en begränsad barmeny med öl, vin och några saki-cocktails. Matutbudet är klassiskt thailändskt med olika karriärer och varmgrytträtter. Min Massaman curry var välsmakande och min hustrus heta potten räkor var också, men i en stad med så många exceptionella thailändska restauranger, den här sticker inte ut.

Stoppade av för middag med min fru och dotter, en blandning av kärleksfull kryddig och att inte kunna äta kryddig. Detta såg mysigt ut och vi gillar thailändsk mat.

Maten var fantastisk, vi hade dumplings, soppa, nudelsoppa och en curry och det smakade bra.
Det är en liten plats och lite av turistspåret men det gör det så intressant att du inte står i linje som på de kända pizzaställena. . Värt att gå till /

Autentisk thailändsk mat med stora storlekar. Hade Tom yum soppa, anka phad thai och fläskkotlett till middag. Delarna av de två sista var enorma och maten var mycket bra. Tjänsten var trevlig. Skulle definitivt rekommendera.
