Is it worth the hype? Maybe not quite but it is very good and a fun experience especially sitting at the bar. The martinis are one of the most interesting parts of dining here. The sour cream and onion Martini is wonderful. The food is upscale Hillstone. Not a bad thing. French dip is delicious and beautiful presentation. The hand held apple pie desert is reason enough to come back. If you can get a seat then go!

The fact that this restaurant has one of the most coveted reservations in New York City Is unimaginable after experiencing it for myself. My friend and I were the first people in line for a walk in seat at a table or the bar. They do allow walk-ins as per their website. Unfortunately, there was no table available because they were fully committed for the evening. However , we were able to grab two seats at the bar. The bartender was one of the rudest people I have interacted with in a long time. My friend and I have been in the restaurant business for over 15 years and both agreed we would have been fired if we treated guest the way this man treated us. You shouldn’t have to be Taylor Swift or Tom Holland to be treated with respect. I waited for the bartender to prepare cocktails for other guests which was no problem. When I had the opportunity to order I was very clear on how I wanted the food to be coursed out. ALL of the food was sent out at once, when we said something about it he said “you should have said something when I read back you order to you”. I wasn’t going to allow him to completely gaslight us into believing he read back our order when he didn’t. He then continued with “ what would you like me to do?” He was not apologetic in anyway and he was extremely condescending and passive aggressive the entire time. The service bartender was very nice and offered to clear plates to give us room and gave us fresh flatware and plates. The food was decent but completely overpowered by the bitter taste left in my mouth by the service. Not that I ll ever have the chance of getting a reservation here, but we will never be back. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

To start Gabby and Jillian, we’re so sweet and clear that our table would only be available for a certain amount of time and I truly appreciated the up front candor. They could not have been nicer. Ron the manager came over and introduced himself as well and it was such a nice touch. We were celebrating my friends engagement and he just added and elevated the experience. The food was exceptional as were the drinks, and our server was thorough and made sure to tell us all the specials. I loved every minute and hope to come back soon. Definitely worth the hype and we enjoyed every minute!

Excellent cocktails with very unique and interesting mixes was very delightful. Delicious dishes were served by very friendly staff members.
Lobster was excellent and we also enjoyed the delicious dessert very much!

My friends and I had a fantastic experience. The food was great and we loved Esteban as our server. Can’t wait to come back! It’s fun to have a neighborhood spot that has made an effort to invite us in to enjoy.
