It was a good experience to visit the United Nations; in order to do that, it's necessary to register yourself, using an ID document. The registration occurs in another place, which is in Front of the building. I used my Brazilian ID and it was all good.

You can learn about humanity, global sustainable development goals here. Not the best place to actually talk about politics but you can enter some fancy meeting room where representatives from all over the world meet. Funny tho most of the things come out of the meeting does not consolidate into real actions in big power nations.

I booked the guided tour and the tour guide was great and knowledgeable about everything UN-related. The highlight was the general assembly hall where leaders from all countries discuss world peace!

It’s an interesting place to visit if you’re this kind of nerd. They have a bookshop and a gift shop, and you can buy special UN postal stamps in the UN post office.
