Passed by several times thinking to myself that I would try the place out sometime and finally had a chance. I wish I had visited sooner! The pizza here is so good. I would say it’s one of my top pizza places in New York. I got the pepperoni pizza and everything about it from the crispiness of the dough, the cheese, the pepperoni, the seasoning was spot on. I also loved the interior design of the place - vintage retro vibes that were obviously well thought out. I will definitely be coming back to try the other pizzas!

During my trip to NYC for new years I had to stop by this Manhattan staple. Got a upside down grandma slice and an upside down Sicilian. Someone else I was with got a normal mushroom slice. I half regret only getting Sicilian style slices and not getting a normal slice for myself for a more balanced review, but I have never tried Sicilian style and two slices is already filling enough.

She told me the mushrooms were very fresh and she approved greatly even though she's not usually a big fan of pizza. For me, the grandma slice was a great slice to start on as it was lighter with the focus on simplicity. With so few ingredients used for this slice, every one is the star of the show.

The upside down Sicilian was almost too much to handle at first. Not only to pick up but to handle the umami of the thick layer of tomato sauce and the salty tang of the pecorino on top slapping you around. Don't even get me started on the dough and how great the Sicilian style tasted. It went from super airy, letting the toppings do the work, only to grow with each bite into a supreme cruchiness by the time you reach the end.

I wish I could eat this pizza every single day of my life. If you're in the area you have to try as many slices as your stomach can fit and then two more!

Pizza here is decent, with a nice, crisp crust. The margarita slice probably could have been seasoned better; but you can add your own parm and red pepper flakes, which helped. Would definitely come back and try ices and the garlic knots.

Anytime I’m in Manhattan, I have to stop by Vito’s. Some of the best pizza I’ve had. Also love the Italian Ice and Jamaican beef patties.  Limited seating inside, a usually the line is out the door. Service is quick and courteous. Good prices too for being in NYC.

Was heading to another pizza place and our hotel door man told us to try this one instead, he compared it to Joe's pizza that's famous in NYC. It really was a great pizza, they also sell by the slice. We also later on bought two whole pies, just a warning let it cool down a little bit, because it was so hot that a lot of the topping fell off the pizza. Very saucy pizza and well cooked. Great customer service, not too much space for sit-down. Good price
