I was in that restaurant 3 times.
The first time when I came there, it was 9:28 o’clock in the evening. They told me that they cannot take my order because the main chef had already left. Even so, the kitchen opens till 9:30 pm. So what was the problem I don’t know, but I left by been so starving, but gave to them another chance.
The second time when I came, I ordered spicy tofu and some hot veggie dish. The food was amazing, and I decided to come back.
When I came a third time, the waitress recommended to try a shrimp dish which goes with rice and I moved forward. The dish was cold and the rice was cold too. I was so disappointed. It looked like they had that dish prepared before and only hit it up for me. Hoverer, I had ordered again spicy tofu to go, and it was amazing. So I assumed that in that restaurant you should never listen a waitress and carefully watch what you are ordering.

FOOD POISON WARNING: Worst diarrhea my family and a friend had after having dinner at this place. From 2 a.m to 7 a.m., none of us could sleep because we had to constantly go to the bathroom. My 18-month-old son also had more diarrhea-like poop and cried all night after eating the cold sesame noodles. My wife even had extreme colic lasted for half an hour. Infuriating how poisonous the food they could make there! We never had a problem like this after trying so many restaurants over the years. Looking at the old reviews seems like other people also suffered from stomachache and vomiting after eating in this place. It is also ashamed when you invited a friend to a so-called "good restaurant" but ended up causing them severe diarrhea.

We are shocked because on Yelp this restaurant highlights "healthy dining". We came here mostly because I mistakenly believed the false advertising "Best Szechuan Food" they put on the website. After reading more reviews, I found that the owner of the Zest Szechuan invited a lot of Yelp Elite reviewers in an event to make them look like a "4-star" restaurant. (and Yes, it fooled me! I surrender to your marketing strategies) so BE AWARE! You would NOT have a 4-star experience at this place. You don't want to be the next one to be filled up with filthy ingredients and suffer from hours of torture.

Pretty good Szechuan place. They take reservations. Recommended dishes: husband and wife delight (beef tripe/throat), dry spicy hot pot, shrimp cabbage tofu soup, etc. Wide selection of small bites. Oranges included at the end of the meal. Ask for less spicy if you cannot take it :P

We had this typhoon pond style crabs and it was good, and a lot! We also got a free Szechuan cold noodles, pretty good also. Another dish we had which is spicy beef and tofu is soso. In all, the taste and quality is fair for the price.

Give this place a try if you’re in the mood for some authentic Szechuan food. We went pre-Covid and was happy with our meal. The flavors were true to classic Szechuan styles. We came specifically for the Chongqing grilled fish that’s a signature dish here and a more elusive item only offered by certain places. It was good but didn’t seem grilled as much as baked and placed in the broth. The pig kidney was fine but not amazing nor something I’d order again.

Vi såg att Zest rekommenderas starkt och gick till middag när vi besökte NYC. Platsen är ljus, ren, har en trevlig atmosfär och var en kort promenad från vårt hotell. Tjänsten var vänlig och priserna var anständiga. Vi fick varmt te så snart vi satt och maten serverades mycket snabbt. Kycklinguppfällningen med tunna nudlar var mycket smakfull och en anständig del. Kycklingen med heta paprika laddades med torkad paprika och kycklingen tärjades och mycket salt. Som en snöig nordöstra ledde skylten mig att tro att platsen borde ligga i en matplats i en förortshall - - men den packade interiören jämfört med den tomma, konkurrerande restaurangen precis intill. Mat var en behandling, personalen var effektiv och vänlig, jag kommer tillbaka i hjärtslag och jag ser fram emot nästa besök. Så länge folk förstår Szechuan-matlagning ger det ett element av värme till det - - inte galen, men om du är en som säger "Jag gillar inte kryddig mat", kom inte. Men om du gör det är det ett bra stopp i centrum. Jag får inte alla de negativa recensionerna här, men vad som helst, det är internet. Scallion pannkakor, nötkött med tofu pudding (det var bara jag). Färsk, öm, buljong var smakfull. Pannkakor har den lilla extra jordnötsoljan på sig som du får på sådana platser, men de är fräscha och subtila, inte för fyllande. Sammantaget en bra Sök, gå hit och du blir inte besviken. .

Kom med en enorm grupp för middag, vi satt på övervåningen med runda bord. Maten kom snabbt och var alla mycket välsmakande. Tjänsten var också bra. De har också karaoke på övervåningen.

Jag trodde aldrig att jag skulle hitta min favoriträtt från Chengdu, Kina i USA. Den kryddiga fisksoppa med pepparkorn var perfekt. Kung Pao kycklingen var också bra.

Vi hade länge gått till en Szechuan plats precis uppe i kvarteret och älskade det och funnit det stängt för renoveringar så gick runt letar efter alternativ. . . . vi kunde se många folk äta här på Zest Szechuan. Det såg fantastiskt ut med massor av fina stora rätter på bord och folk grävde in till lunch.

Lucky oss, vi fick ett bord utan en vänta och menyn var enorm med bilder och ett antal alternativ som såg mycket intressant ut.

Dan Dan Nudlar och Dumpling i Chili Saus är enastående och billig. Vi älskar ångad soppbunkar. Min favorit huvud är Mapo Tofu med malet fläsk.

Min rubrik säger allt. Vi bodde i Midtown så beslutat att försöka denna takt ut baserat på dess stora recensioner. Vi ordred nötkötttendonerna med Tripe & Jordnötter, WoodEar-sallad, Stir Fried Cumin Lamb, Aubergine med spaciy vitlöksås och för att få lite av den goda Mala, Sitrfried Chicken with Peppers på vår vänns råd. Hon förstod till och med min crummy Mandarin. Hade det inte varit lite av en enhet att komma hit med byggande skulle vi ha varit tillbaka. Detta är bland våra topp 3 Szechuan restaurang val i landet.

Vi valde att besöka denna anläggning på muntliga ord från en vanlig lunch kund för vår helg brunch.

 Dold på den väldigt anonyma väst 39 th Street var det faktiskt centralt för ett besök på Bryant Park, New York Public Library och närliggande Times Square.

Övergripande vi enades om kvaliteten på maten, förberedelser och service var väl värt detta rimligt prissatta måltid. Visa på menyn, restaurangen erbjuds en mängd olika veckodags lunch specialerbjudanden allt under $ 12. 00.

I slutet av en lång och långvarig brunch var restaurangen full av både stora och små partier av mecenater, mestadels semesterbesökare. Alla tycktes njuta av sin egen känsla av att upptäcka någonstans utanför misshandlad vägen, men nära några av stadens största attraktioner.

Jag rekommenderar starkt denna 2017 Michelin-anläggning till dem som letar efter kvalitet, bekvämlighet, läge och värde.

Även om jag ser blandade recensioner här för denna plats, var jag väldigt nöjd med mitt val. Restaurangen var ganska upptagen, men jag var omedelbart sittande och fick en meny. Min server kom över rätt efter att jag satte menyn nere, vilket indikerar att jag var redo att beställa. Mat serverades om några minuter och var varmt och jag tyckte att det var gott. Jag var själv och beställde nötkött med scallions, vilket var mycket ömt. . . . . disken som serverades runt mig såg också inbjudande. Jag hittade inte restaurangen alltför högljudd, men den är liten, så det kanske kanske ibland kan bli så. Hur som helst, baserat på min erfarenhet, skulle jag ge det en tumme upp!

De har en bra lunch special för $ 10. Maten är mycket väl kryddat och portionerna är stora. Den varma och sura soppen är mycket bra och kyckling- och vitlökssås är utmärkt. Detta är min resa till kinesisk restaurang till lunch i Midtown. D-koden är ganska vanlig, men tjänsten är mycket bra och för priset är det ett utmärkt val.

Vi letade efter en kinesisk restaurang ikväll och snubblat över den här. Det såg upptagen så vi tänkte att det skulle vara värt ett försök. Vi blev besvikna.
