Lots of options on the menu and most dishes we had were really cooked well and beautifully seasoned. Only disappointment was the tempura chefs selection which wasn’t bad but not as light and crispy as it should have been for the batter. Still  wonderful choice for Japanese in the area.

Best Japanese restaurant in westchester. Not your typical menu that you find at so called "popular" sushi restaurants. Food is authentic and incredibly tasty. It is paired with so many different flavors and textures creating an awesome dining experience.

The restaurant is on the smaller side so make a reservation if possible.

The bartender Kendra made great drinks and recommendations on food.

Beautiful restaurant and delicious food. Easy to find street parking especially on weekends. Servers are friendly and attentive; the nigiris are our favorite - fresh and flavorful.

A great spot for all types of group and look forward to coming back here again and try other dish!

My mother and I had the pleasure of dining at Oko in Rye.

Marysol and Sarah provided great service! They knew the menu inside and out and elevated our entire dining experience. Both couldn’t have been any nicer.

With regards to the food. Everything was top notch. We were super impressed by the Marinated King Salmon Poke with smoked soy, white miso aioli, arugula, and nori. The Lotus Root Tempura. The Uni Toast with milk bread, umeboshi, goat’s milk butter, and smoked trout roe. The Pork Belly Boa with squid caramel, black garlic aioli, and napa kimchi. And, the Cedar Smoked Black Cod Nigiri with crispy beets, and horseradish.

Oko is a small intimate space great for an evening out, serving top quality food and staffed with even greater people!!

Everything about the experience was top notch. We had the chefs selection as well as a couple of spicy crispy pieces (beef and tuna). It was all fantastic. Service was perfect. Atmosphere was nice.
