Best lounge I've been too, so far! Spacious. A lot of seating. Big, beautiful bar area. Food was amazing! Temperature was just right Bathrooms were clean, even had a separate area for showers In between gates D & E. Then go up a floor

Came to the airport early given the current flight reductions during the government shutdown. Entered at 10:30am with no wait. Check in was easy. The lounge wasn't overcrowded and we found seats right away. Breakfast was on the buffet with fresh fruit,grits, oatmeal with a variety of toppings, overnight oats with coconut and oat milks. Cranberry orange muffins, fresh baked banana bread. Roasted potatoes with a yummy sauce. The sausage and quiches were dry. There was a full bar with signature drinks as well that is complimentary and had a very short wait. The bartenders were good and fast and the drinks were well prepared. I had an Aperol Spritz and an Espresso Martini. Both were good. There was a busser coming by and picking up dishes regularly. There were multiple coffee machines that made premium drinks. There was a gelato stand with chocolate and vanilla and lots of toppings. Yum! The lunch buffet started around 11:30 and guests were already lined up for it - which says its good. The mashed potatoes and chicken were great. The Brussels Sprouts I didn't like much. Check it out!

We had a decent layover between flights and decided to come here to relax. We were told it was very crowded when we arrived but there would be seats available. We sat at the first two open seats we found and decided to get food. The buffet in the back was nice. They had chicken, salads, mashed potatoes and dinner rolls and more. The bar was right next to the buffet and it was crowded and chaotic. The female bartender was yelling for everyone to back up into a straight line - and staff there were not so friendly. The food was just okay and the rolls were stale. My glass of cab was good and we enjoyed the self serve lemonade. The room was decorated beautifully, and wrapped around in a circle with little sitting areas everywhere. The tables were constantly being cleared. The restroom was very clean, and they even had showers available. The most annoying thing was a man sitting behind us - loudly having a full blown work conversation on speaker phone. Not sure if we will come here again but I'm glad we gave it a try.

Super! The Amex Lounge in Charlotte gets better every time. It's the team. It's is every team member from Jenny and Andre at the welcome counter( photo) to Fatima and Dua( spelling) who patiently pick up all plates and glasses with a smile and class to the awesome lady who helped me with the shower booking and took me to the room, then waited patiently as I ran back to the front to get dental and shaving kits; the lovely bartenders who are having fun. So the NFl ranks QB's and power ranks teams every week during the season. Here imho are the power rankings for Amex Centurion lounges in the US: 1) Charlotte 2) Miami 3) NY LGA 4) Phoenix 5) Atlanta 6) NY JFK 7) DCA Please note the vast gap between 1) and 2). The stellar team that is happy while doing the work, tasty and more creative menu offerings, ease of getting around, more bartenders at more stations that are spread out, a gelato and crepe station( WOW), bigger and better showers and bathrooms, the front desk that is genuinely warm, loving and makes you feel great about being an Amex Platinum cardholder; this is why!

The Centurian Lounge in the Charlotte airport is a little hidden but can be found just before you get to concourse E gates, at the top of the escalators. It's on the right, if you're coming from the rocking chairs and past the restaurant with the bull. No joke!! The lounge is very clean. The food offerings were quite interesting and more on the healthy side in my opinion than Delta or American lounges. They offered lots of fruit and cut fresh fruit. They offered plantain pancakes for breakfast, which is something I've never seen before unless I was in the Caribbean. If you come here and they have the tomato grits, YOU'VE GOT TO TRY THEM! They are just different but in a pleasant way. The service is on point with the centurion lounge employees, they are on top of everything.

Great place to stop by for breakfast during our layover. There was no wait at the time we got here and was able to enter and find a table right away. There were quite a few selections of breakfast items. There was also alcoholic drinks at the bar which we did not get this time, coffee stations etc. The staff was prompt at taking away the dirty plates. This is located around terminal D and E near the food court area and The Plaza. Make a left near terminal D then elevator is in the right. Take elevator up to 3rd floor. Have to take elevator or the stairs to get to this location.

Very large lounge with plenty of seating, yet during dinner rush hour there were no open seats. We walked around the entire lounge at least three times looking for somewhere to sit but many people like to take up open seats to place their luggage and backpacks on them. The employees had to make an overhead announcement to have people be mindful and share the space with fellow travelers. We definitely appreciated that announcement because it freed up a couple seats for us to sit at. Although the lounge was basically at capacity, the buffet line was kept well stocked and replenished promptly. They offered various hot items and some vegetarian options, along with salads. The bar area was very popular as well, it was well stocked with plenty of drink options.

When you need it, nothing like the Amex Lounge to take the sting out of a harrowing travel evolution. As luck would have it, I also got to use Admiral's Club. Amex is much better and more generous (free Manhattan for example made with top shelf bourbon). The buffet is also nicer. The only reason I'm knocking a star off is that there has been a wait to get in on my last two trips through. The furniture is comfortable. Could be a few more padded seat options.

There was a wait to get it if about 20 minutes. It's a bit confusing at first but once you check in with the QR code, you wait for an entry code. The lady at the check in area always super friendly. The food looked good but I was stuffed from brunch is I skipped that. I did however have a Bloody Mary, spicy! It was good. Although there was a wait for the lounge, one inside it was roomy and not overly crowded.
