In this Post-Chicken-Sandwich-Wars Era, it's nice to try something new, yet familiar. What the chains all claim to offer, is actually available at Bossy Beulah's. Fresh chicken, nicely breaded, crispy and juicy at the same time, and full of savory spices. The sturdy bun stands up to the chicken and the excellent sauce and holds up to the last bite. The spicy and the plain sandwich are both great, though the spicy was far better. Fries were good and also fresh, but kind of an "also ran" compared to the sandwich. I'd go back more often, but Harriet's is right next door and that's a tough decision. Seating and ambience is comfortable and the place was immaculate. Will definitely be back!

I'm a little upset with myself that I didn't get any pictures of the inside. This is a nice spot on where you could eat your lunch or dinner but this gives me more lunchtime vibes. Music was playing in the background not too loud but just right (at least for me). Customer service was very welcoming and helped me out because this was my first time there at their establishment. *on to the food* I ordered a chicken sandwich and some chicken tenders. That chicken sandwich was so flavorful. It wasn't too crunchy as well. I despise crunchy chicken like I'm eating on chips and this was far from that. The chicken tenders were very good as well, no complaints. They have a homemade lemonade, nothing to scream about but it was good. The reason for a 4 out of 5, is because of their ranch. I felt like it was freshly handmade but it just had a different taste to it. It wasn't hidden valley lol or wing stop type of ranch. Regardless, though, I can buy my own ranch and whenever I do go back to Charlotte, I will definitely be coming back here to get some chicken.

I ordered 60 nuggets from Bossy Beulah's on Freedom Dr for my pool party, and paid $82.26--only to get home and find maybe 25 nuggets in the box. That's less than half of what I paid for. I had to leave my friends and drive 20 minutes each way, just to come back with a completely messed up order. That's 40 minutes wasted, and over $80 gone. Yes, the food tasted great--but it doesn't matter when the experience is this bad. The restaurant was slammed when I picked up, but it really felt like the staff had no control over the chaos. I get that places get busy, but if the team can't handle the rush without making major order mistakes, something needs to change. This was such a letdown, and honestly, I'm scared to ever go back. It's not cheap, and I don't want to risk throwing money away again. Total shame.

Stopped in for lunch to go around noon. There was a steady flow of people. We were able to get in and out quickly. Ordering at the counter was easy and efficient. It only took a few mins and my order was ready. There's limited seating inside but I did notice they have a covered outside area with additional seating. I took my order to go. I live about 20 mins away. I really appreciated that when I got home, my sandwich was still warm and the bun was not soggy from the wrapping. A+ I love that the menu is simple and only has a few items. I ordered the Beaut, fries and slaw. The fries are homemade style and have the best crunch. IMO this chicken sandwich is hands down better than Chic fil- A. The Pickles are homemade and good! The chicken is larger and thich cut, but its tender and not dry. Their bossy sauce is a tad bit spicy for my liking, but acts as a good and tasty dipping sauce for the fries. I highly recommend and will go back to try other options on the menu.

I've eaten at this location many times and it's amazing every time! The hand breaded chicken is great on their salads, their sandwiches, and even by themselves. The bossy sauce and beaut's hot sauce are both great! I always have quick friendly service. The huge mural on the outside wall and garage doors definitely add to the ambiance and overall experience.

Food was amazing, the chicken and fries were not greasy, they were very tender and had a perfect crust. We got both the tenders and nuggets, both were very good but i did like the tenders more. The inside is a bit small but there is a good amount of seating. Service was quick.

Chicken sandwiches have been popular for a few years but a limited number of places make a great one. Add Bossy Beulah's to that list. The Beaut sandwich had great flavor and just the right amount of crisp. The hot thigh sandwich was flavorful but the sauce made the sandwich a bit messy - nothing a bunch of napkins couldn't handle! Order at the counter, fill your drink, and your food should arrive in under 5 minutes. Menu is limited which isn't a bad thing - the restaurant focuses on what they do well. They have outdoor seating and a pergola over their patio, three tables inside, and about 17 stools at counters. I am eager to return the next time I have a chicken sandwich craving!

I truly believe this is the best chicken sandwich in Charlotte. They use thighs so they are always juicy, never dry. I'm partial to the hot thigh sandwich which is messy and delicious. I ask for no mayo because that part is always a little too much for me, but I love their house pickles. Fries are super seasoned and you have to get the bossy sauce to dip them in. Love that they carry Coca Cola products, as that's my preferred soda. There is also plenty of free parking.
