Absolutely horrible hotel. Their Expedia waiting's must be paid reviews. Look up the Google reviews! We stayed here because the airlines sent us here due to canceled and delayed flights. We picked this hotel because of their shuttle service to and from the airport. We called the hotel to get the shuttle just before 11 and the clerk said the shuttle will be there shortly. There were dozens of people from our plane staying here. We waited about 15 minutes and took a taxi. As we pull into the hotel the shuttle is sitting there (not in route). When my daughter commented about it the taxi driver laughed and said they do that all the time if you call after 10:30. They will tell you it's on its way but they never pick up. We did ask when they run to get us back to the airport and the clerk said it runs every hour (6, 7, etc). So we go down just before 8 and waited for them to announce they were going to leave. After about 5 minutes I walked up to the counter to ask when it was going to leave. She said 9. I said we were told it leaves the top of every hour. She stated if he took us now he wouldn't make it back to pick up people from the airport. Huh??? My daughter said you did this last night too. The clerk asked if we wanted to wait for the 9 am shuttle. We called a Lyft. So after the airlines leaves passengers stranded, this hotel does the same thing with zero shuttle service! Now onto the hotel condition. Although it was supposedly recently renovated it looks like a motel 6 renovation gone very wrong! They don't clean and maintain the hotel. The floors are sticky. The rooms are oddly laid out. We opened the door to a long hallway with no artwork anywhere on the walls. The drapes looked old and dingy. The bathroom cabinet appears to a homemade plywood thing that is unfinished. There are no towel racks on the walls so you have to place your towels on the toilet to be able to reach them. Gross! We asked for a handicap room. There wasn't a grab bar on the side of the shower that you enter from (unless you want to squeeze between the toilet and tub to enter). The tub was super slippery. Once inside the tub the grab bar is so low that it won't help you if you slip.

Let's start with the good stuff, location was only a few miles from Uptown where my business was. Check in staff was friendly, allowed me to check in before the official time. There was coffee and ice cold lemon water at the check in area, plenty of luggage carts, and a small drinks and snacks concession behind the desk. The price ($115) was great for an actual suite with a totally separate bedroom and sitting/"kitchen" area, tv's in each, and plenty of room. Also while I did not use this service, there is an airport shuttle. Free breakfast was more than continental, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, as well as waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, etc. Now the negatives- this is a classic 90's era Comfort Suites, when they were pretty sweet. Back in the day when they were a "Premium" brand, known for elevated facilities within the Choice Hotels branding (which includes Radisson and Cambria all the way down to Rodeway Inn), this was the place to stay. All the Comfort Suites had indoor pools (the one here permanently closed, idle and empty), shuttles to nearby airports or attractions (which this one has), etc. But this property has alot of overlooked maintenance beyond the closed pool area. Scratched and dented everywhere from public areas to rooms and curb appeal, the property just needs a quick upgrade. The entrance my GPS took me to was one of two to the hotel, this one gated by a rusty barrier with a lock. From this side you can see smoked out windows, no cars, and a dirty construction ( or de-construction) site across the street.. I literally thought I would have to call Expedia and tell them I had a reservation at a closed down hotel. But, when I found the actual entrance I arrived on a spotty old car park with so many patches it looked like a Jackson Pollack painting. Imagine my surprise upon check in when the admittedly friendly and welcoming desk agent told me I was required to pay $10 to park! Not only that but the parking cannot be paid at the desk, you had to go out in the 93 degree heat and scan a barcode on a sign in from the patchy parking lot. While my stay was fine for me, and what I expected for the price, the parking scam put a bad taste in my mouth.

This is the worst hotel to stay on the weekends, especially, if you want a restful sleep. There is an event center next door that plays loud music all night into the predawn hours. We tried to sleep at 12:30 AM and couldn't get a wink until we got up at 2.00 and left the hotel. They promised to refund our money as we had only booked it for one night, but never got a refund. Stay away from this place.

Do not stay here. I was one of several people who's vehicles where broken into and property stolen. They advertise that they have security and surveillance but obviously not enough to deter criminals. Hotel itself was grimey. Room smelled musty, sheets weren't clean, drapes were nasty, etc. the staff was overall rude. The manager and assistant manager were professional enough. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra 30 bucks and stay at a Marriott

This hotel is really nice especially for the price. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is it has a strong smell everywhere. It kinda smells like there was smoking inside and they are trying to cover it up. Otherwise the staff has been great and the room is really clean. The beds are nice too. The breakfast buffet was awesome. Scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy. Waffles and cereal and fruit. The coffee was lukewarm and not hot but other than that it as great. Our key didn't work when we got back from breakfast. Nicole was so nice in fixing it for us. Later as we were leaving she offered to get us help with out multitude of luggage. She's awesome

I called rather late a few weeks ago because the website showed airport shuttle is provided. My flight was canceled and I needed a ride from airport to hotel and called twice to confirm shuttle service. As it turned out, the service had discontinued for the night, resulting in feeling like I was stranded. The staff should have informed me of the hours. The added wait time after a long and disruptive situation and the added cost was disappointing.

If you are planning on one night and okay with rusted hinges, stained curtains, a dinged up refrigerator, and questionable customer service, it isn't too bad. Checking in was a little rough as the front desk clerk, Nicole, was juggling the phone, checking in a couple, and assisting what could have been former guest who had to pay a taxi driver outside "or else." Room was very spacious, and was good aside the above mentioned issues. I did question if my car would be safe with a "Sleep Easy" motel a stones throw away, but it was fine. No roaches or bed bugs. Breakfast was good, but the line to make a waffle was six people deep. Overall, I am not planning on going back. It was okay for the price point.

For some odd reason, my employer has this location listed as a preferred hotel so this is my second visit. I did not post a review the first time but now I just have to. Here are the issues: 1. Staff is completely NOT motivated, unwelcoming, argumentative and just unhelpful. These employees must be unappreciated, underpaid, incompetent , unhappy and overworked because it shows. 2. I called before my arrival because I could only be there at 3am to make sure I could check in. They told me they had someone 24/7. Well, I could not get in the hotel for over an hour. I called the number over 20 times and nobody answered. I was getting ready to sleep in my car but decided to try one more time. When the desk lady finally showed up, she got argumentative and started yelling at me like I was at fault! She was apparently upstairs cleaning rooms. It that's the case why not get portable phones or pagers for your staff???? 3. Some rooms (#211) don't lock properly. BEWARE! No matter how much you slam the door shut, double check! My room was left unlocked for hours. When I returned, a slight push of the door got it to open. 4. During my most recent visit, the guy who checked me in was speaking with such a low voice I could not hear anything. Never greeted me or even looked at me. All he said was Name? ID? Credit Card? and he mumbled other unintelligible stuff. It's like they are annoyed to have customers. I met the manager on my first visit and shared my thoughts with him. I am disappointed to see that nothing has changed. This is really incredible.

Our airplane had problems and American Airlines had to put us up overnight. My son and I got to the hotel. Gabriel was at the front desk and told us he could only give us a king size bed he could not give us two doubles. I explained that we were a mother and son and really couldn't share the same bed. He said he really didn't care he had blocked out 10 rooms they were king Size rooms and that's all he could do. We asked him to call a manager so it could be overwritten and he said no. I was very upset he said they only pay us $99 a day and our rooms are worth much more than that. He refused to do anything! He refused to call the manager. I believe anybody could've given us a room it was 1045 at night no one else was checking in the hotel that night. Please do not go to this location we tried to call the corporate office and ask for the general managers number and they only gave us the hotel number. if anybody knows how to help me with this problem I would appreciate it
