I would not advise my worst enemy at this place. Blood stains on carpet Spot on curtain Water not hot/ water clogs up Coffee pot broken Never again.. i have asked for a one night refund.Manager is a no show in responding.

Oh Country Inn! The gentleman I encountered at check-in was very professional & nice -- I wish I had him during check-out. The gentleman during check-out was a bit stern & no matter how many times I corrected him he still pronounced my name incorrectly. Anyhow... Bed & Pillows: If you lay in the middle you will be okay otherwise the sides will sink in. The bed was similar to those sofa pull out beds -- definitely no Serta. Ironically I had a good nights rest but I doubt it was because of the bed. If your tired enough & have someone with you, you can make do. Pillows -- OMG! Would it hurt to provide pillows that have some type of support. Imagine having 4 pillows for 2 people when even stacking 2 pillows your head is as flat as paper. They were soft but way too soft for my liking. Breakfast: Believe it or not all I ate was 2 egg slices (similar to McDonalds) topped with salsa & cheese which I had to melt in the room, a sausage patty & some strawberry yogurt. They really need to up their hot food choices, like where is the bacon?? Where are the potatoes?? I'm sorry but cereal, waffles & 50 million biscuit or bagel choices just isn't it -- for me anyways. Now, I do blame myself partly because this room was booked last minute, like as the plane was taking off I booked this room. They didn't allow "pay at hotel" through booking.com so I had to make sure I was making it to Charlotte first. My choices were slim & places were sold out so I just went with it. Now granted the stay wasn't horrible but they could definitely improve some things.

Stayed here for one night before flying out of Charlotte airport. Booked on booking.com with no issues. 20 min from CLT airport, tram to uptown Charlotte only a few feet from hotel. This hotel was descent for a one night. Plenty of parking, lots of food choices in the area. No military discount, most hotels will honor and give discount even after you have booked on booking.com. This hotel would not honor. I probably would use them again in the near future. Staff was friendly and accommodating during our stay.

This was an eventful weekend in Charlotte NC. This particular hotel had both pros and cons. However, some of the cons were absolute deal breakers. I'll begin with the pros....... Breakfast was pretty good and FREE! Great selection of breakfast foods from cereal to malted waffle makers. Not too many breakfast meat options were available but there was enough variety to satisfy one's appetite. Another pro was the complimentary homemade lemonade and cookie selection. It was a nice addition on these hot southern days. I never tasted the cookies because they went so fast. The cons included poor customer service from most of the hotel staff. One in particular spoke so rudely to my child that I had to intervene and he immediately began to apologize. One staff member named Chris was professional and polite. The room was somewhat clean and the towels and washcloths were atrocious!! They had a yellowish tinge and most were stained beyond laundering. I felt extremely uncomfortable showering with those linen. On both days, the towels that we were provided were absolutely atrocious. Nasty towels are an absolute dealbreaker!! We disinfected the entire room with Lysol and Clorox Wipes! Had I read the reviews on Yelp prior to traveling, my family and I would've found another hotel to stay in. The indoor/pool was nice and the handicap accessibility lift was an added plus. The pool towels were cleaner than the towels that we had in our room. We do not recommend this particular hotel unless they purchase new towels and burn the old ones!! Thanks!

I had a nice King size Room suite for 4 nights. The Room was spacious, very clean and peaceful. The only problem was the thermostat was broken, there was no HEAT. I was a little disappointed so I went down to the Front desk. I spoke to the Manager Zee and Shiv about the situation, they sent the maintenance guy to my room to fix the problem. Everything worked out great...Thanks to Shiv, Zee and the maintenance guy for there hospitality...Heat was working the rest of my stay. My first Time in Charlotte and I Love it...Thanks again guys

My husband and I came here to stay for my birthday. We were at the National Whitewater Rafting center all day, so by the time we checked into our room here, we're we're tired and ready to unwind. After settling in, unpacking, showering, and finally laying in bed, we noticed stains everywhere on the sheets and pillows. While relaxing in bed, we also started to hear water dripping near us.. we started to investigate the room further to find WATER LEAKING from the ceiling that was dripping on the floor next to our bed. Unbelievable. (See photos) From the photos I have posted, you can tell they tried to "patch" up the leak many times. The patch is huge and you can tell the water damage is the length of almost the entire wall! Water was dripping down the side of the wall and there was a small puddle of water on the ground.. While the front desk was friendly, I would never recommend ANYONE to stay here because of the health hazards and safety risks. I'm sure management is already aware of the issue and just doesn't care judging by all the attempts to patch the wall.. but in case they do care, the room # is 112.

My husband & I stayed here for one nite. Front desk person was very cordial. The room was large. Upon entering the room noticed room had not been vacuumed properly. Bathroom counter was very small & did not even accommodate one person let alone two people. Bed mattress was uneven; it sunk down in the middle & was up around the edges. The pillows were very flat. This left both of us achy the next morning. However, it is a bargain if you don't want to spend a lot of $ for a hotel. Location of hotel convenient to restaurants.

My family and I had a pleasure staying at the country inn & suites and I just want to say it was amazing! From Rebecca and the other front desk self assisting with any questions or concerns. to the wonderful breakfast they offer as well as the swimming pool. we had an amazing time and look forward to staying with them again !

This could have been a much better experience... I booked a room at CI&S through HotelTonight. The hotel was convenient to the places I needed to be and the brand in other cities tends to be good economy lodging. The desk staff was courteous and took my credit card information for incidentals - all a normal hotel experience. A week later, I found both a charge for $150 and $150 authorization from Country Inn. I called on a Saturday and spoke to a woman who said that she couldn't reverse the charges without a manager who would be back on Monday. I waited a week to see if the charges would be backed out. They weren't. The next week I called and was told that the charge was due to cigarette smoke in the room. (I have never smoked in my life.) I informed the assistant manager that I am an athlete and have never smoked, but he insisted that his notes on the room indicated that there were ashes on the table and in the bathroom. I asked to speak to his manager, Ken Dale. The manager wasn't in but would be after lunch. Called after lunch - he's in a meeting. Call 2 hours later - at 3:30 pm - he's already gone home for the day. This is not how you win business.

I would have and wanted to give A higher review. after a remodeled room which was nice. Website showed an indoor "refreshing pool" and Jacuzzi (pictured below). I chose this hotel over others because of indoor pool and Jacuzzi under amenities page. After check-in I went to the pool and it was closed. The Jacuzzi which was pictured in the website is no longer there. The manager said he could do nothing about it. Will not stay here again. False advertising. I was told I should have asked about pool and jacuzzi when I made reservation. I would not have thought about asking when it is pictured as the the 1st amenity. There's too much competition in the hotel world in Charlotte.
