I wanted to write a review about this place about 2 years ago when I had to make the worst trip of my life. I lost the company name but I just recognized it. My best friend of 40 years passed away. We never had a disagreement, argument or any jealousy. I was so sad and completely devastated driving up from Laguna Beach to LAX. I had to cheer myself up with some amazing ramen in LA. I arrive at my car drop off looking well dressed but so sad. A nice gentleman in a black SUV had just dropped off someone else. I could tell he was sizing up the women looking for probably a big tipper to take to LAX from the car rental place. He had free time on his hands so he said he gives courtesy rides sometimes. I was emotionally and physically beaten down from my BFF's death and dragging my luggage he was like the rescue person I needed to the airport. Thank you God for this man that rescued me and even loaded all my luggage. I left for my trip 10 days prior with a lot of money but I was literally down to my last $2 dollars. I told him I only had a couple dollars on me left. I don't use credit cards except for booking cars or planes. Anyway this incredible man (forgot his name now) didn't give me any attitude when I told him I was just about broke. I felt sad I had barely any money to tip him. He told me no worries. I briefly told him my sad trip story. Thank God for wonderful men like him. Normally I'm a big tipper for great service. He even took my baggage out of his fancy black SUV. All I could tell him was thank you with deep gratitude and told him that good karma would definitely come to him.

Curbside pick up and drop off! I had a pleasant experience from ExecuCar. An early weekday flight out of LAX led me to use ExecuCar since I didn't want to bother friends or family with having to pick me up at odd hours, drive out to the airport, and back home in traffic. This was a simple solution and well worth the money. Since I was going to be out of the country for 2 weeks, I figured that the dollar amount for this service was better than leaving my luxury vehicle at the airport long-term lots or renting a car. This gave me peace of mind knowing my car would be safe at home during my travels. Oh, and the vehicle was clean and odor-free! Bonus! The driver was very courteous and drove at an appropriate speed. I definitely felt safe, which is most important. Overall, I enjoyed this service and recommend others to utilize this service especially when traveling for longer durations. Thanks, ExecuCar! :)

From Ontario Airport to Whittier is about 35 miles. With morning rush hour traffic, it's a 30 minute to an hour ride. I'm only in town for the day and renting seemed time consuming. Thought of getting a ride share, however I my client booked me a ExecuCar. I departed the security and the driver was there at Baggage Claim. My reservation included the "Meet and Greet" service, which basically the driver has a personalized sign/placard and handles your luggage. Sayid greeted, a short wait curbside, and off we went. A clean car, friendly service with not too much chat. We arrived with plenty of time. The return trip was much of the same. Simon took surface streets and made it to the airport painlessly. The drivers are contractors and own their own cars. The Whips are spotless. Great safe service!

I had booked service with ExecuCar prior to a recent trip. When I returned to LAX after a 12 hour long trans-Atlantic flight, and after clearing customs I called ExecuCar to inquire about my ride. It took about 15 minutes to reach someone on the phone line. They informed me that they didn't have a ride available and would try and see if there is one and call me back later (10 minutes later they hadn't called me back), or they said I have the option to just cancel. What a complete and utter waste of my time! I live about 60 miles from LAX. I went to look up uber rates and uber cars were in high demand when I arrived at LAX and wanting triple the ExecuCar rate that I had booked. ExecuCar left me stranded! They are extremely unprofessional and an unreliable business! While I was on the phone with ExecuCar some random guy outside at LAX heard me and offered me a ride for a little more than the ExecuCar rate, so I went with him.

Incredibly bad service. First they send a text with the driver's phone and name. When he answers, he said he is not the correct driver and to contact dispatch. Ok! Dispatch never answers for 50 mins. Everyone tries to call hoping they will answer. They never do. Stranded at LAX after paying $75+ for non-existent service. Call the 800 booking number and get put on hold again. 1 1/2 hours later - give up and pay for another service. If I could give negative stars I would. Unreliable, unprofessional, will leave you stranded Check out their social media posts where there are a TON of complaints.

DANGER! THIS COMPANY WILL LEAVE YOU STRANDED! Based on other reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence. Actually, I've used this company on several occasions to get from my home to LAX. The process seems easier, and no more expensive, than an Uber or Lyft. However, after leaving me in the lurch twice, I doubt I'll be using this company again. Note this company is part of Supershuttle, but the Execucar division does not pick up any other passengers. The first time this company screwed me over was at LAX. Usually upon landing, there is a text from the driver to contact him/her for pickup. This time there was none. I called dispatch and was told a driver could not be found. I canceled my reservation and tried to get a rideshare or the Flyaway bus, but was unsuccessful. I called dispatch back and, almost 2 hours later, a driver was found. The driver then proceeded to complain the entire trip about how no driver would want to take me home because of the distance, the traffic, and because the company-set payment rate for the driver to my area was "too cheap". I was basically being penalized for where I live. The second time I got screwed was at home, when, 2 hours before our scheduled pick-up, I got a call and email that a driver could not be found. I immediately canceled my return trip and quickly reserved a spot at an airport garage. So I ended up driving to the airport myself. The company offered a discount on a future trip, but that's NOT going to happen. With the new pick-up lot/shuttles for rideshares and taxis now in effect, it seems the most "convenient" way to LAX is to drive yourself.

I have used ExecuCar for four round trips. Every trip from my home to LAX was excellent. The driver was on time and professional. However two of the four return trips to my home were inexcusable. I reserved my rides in advance. Twice now, there was a mess up and the driver with the confirmed pick-up time at LAX was not available. This last time I waited 45 minutes before a new driver picked me up at the airport. I left four messages for ExecuCar to call me and talk about the latest situation. I never received a call back.

We have been longtime users of Execucar but our last 2 experiences over the holiday will have us looking elsewhere for car services. Booked a car for 5 people with 9 bags to go to LAX. We actually ended up with 6 bags and a bag of hockey sticks. Driver showed up with an SUV put the bags in the car in a way that we couldn't use the third row so we had 4 adults sitting in second row leaning against doors and not enough seatbelts. Was seriously worried about a door opening accidentally. While driving on the 405 he was drinking soda from a cup with no straw and while tipping his head back was veering into other lanes - we actually almost side swiped a big rig. After our trip we received a survey which we filled out honestly yet when we arrived back at LAX, 6 days later, guess who was scheduled to pick us up?? We had booked a round trip with Meet and Greet service and yes this amazing driver was back to welcome us home. Fortunately we were only 3 people with 4 bags on Way home. While taxiing to the gate I received a text message from this same driver asking if he could meet us at the curb! I answered No that we needed help with the baggage. As we came down to baggage there were a host of drivers with signs and baggage carts waiting for their appointed holiday travelers but our name was nowhere on any of the iPads. We walked in further and looked around and there he was, standing against a wall, sign in hand but wait something was missing....where was the luggage cart? He was so thoughtless that he didn't bother to bring one in. Even though I was clear in my text that we needed help with luggage. As we approached him I thought perhaps he might offer to take one of our backpacks or help pull bags off the baggage carousel. But alas, I quickly realized I was wrong. Execucar subcontracts out to independent drivers so there is very little oversight - they are simply a booking service for these drivers. However, I hardly believe that this would have been the first complaint they've had about this guy yet they continue to use him. This is not the first bad driver we've had so now we are done.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We have been screwed over by this company on two different occasions! 1. Incident #1 We ordered a shuttle far in advance to get to LAX for our flight. On the morning we were supposed to be picked up, we were waiting for the shuttle and soon realized it was 20 min after the time the shuttle should've been at our house. We called the company and they told us that no one was coming. They said they couldn't get ahold of the driver and no one would be coming. They offered no apology or discount or anything because of this MAJOR screw up. We were in a complete panic and had to arrange an emergency back up at the last minute. We nearly missed our flight because of this company. 2. Incident #2 we had already ordered a meet and greet premium SUV far in advance for our return trip back to LA. When we got to LAX, there was no meet and greet. We were searching all over for the driver, who was nowhere to be found. We got our baggage and sat there waiting for over 30 minutes. We called the company and they told us the driver was coming. We then had to search around outside to find our driver. We told them ahead of time that we had six bags, hence why we ordered a premium SUV. The driver showed up with no cart to help carry our huge load. Here's the kicker, the company then fraudulently charged our credit card more money nearly a week after. Please do yourself a favor, and don't ever ever ever trust this company to pick you up for your trips or events. We will be disputing the fraudulent charge and warning all our friends and family to steer clear of this company!

I don't know if this was a problem with the driver or Execucar logistics. After we arrived and picked up our bags, we call the dispatcher. He instructed us to wait at 5E by the door and stated the driver should be there in 10 minutes. We did. After 15 minutes I pulled out my phone and see a text from the driver to contact him when we are ready....we were clearly ready and had done as requested. I called the driver and he hadn't left yet, another 25 minutes later he shows up. That's a 40-minute wait (once notified). Our flight was on time and we got our bags in short order and immediately contacted Execucar....in this case, very poor service... Note: The ride to LAX was Excellent but using this service from LAX was terrible.
