Very nice community market and down the road from the airport parking so you see it's a easy stop for airport and airline employees for dinner shopping. Also with a lot of hotels in the area great stop food and beverage needs. This store gets a lot of traffic. The staff like many food lions here. Store clean and well stocked

I came in originally to cash in some 20s for hundreds that I know that you have.. and was told a flat out lie that they had already dropped them into the safe when other food lions have no problem at all with going into the safe and getting them, but for some reason, one of the customer service managers at this particular store either doesn't care for me very much or I feel like she was discriminating against me for some reason because she went as far as to tell a cashier to make sure not to give me any bills higher than a $10 I will never return to this food lion even to shop for something if I'm dying or whatever the case, maybe I will never come back to the Food Lion as long as I live and I encourage everyone to avoid this Food Lion altogether because I feel like they are racist people that work here.. The reason I say that is I have no problem with trying to cash in $20s at any other food lion they will go as far as going into the safe and getting me whatever amount of $100s I need at that time...

Let me guess: Food Lion hired a new CEO recently who wants to change things for the sake of changing them to put his personal stamp on the brand? I shopped almost exclusively at Food Lion for many years because they WERE NOT like Wal-Mart; the #1 factor being that I could pay for my things and go without standing in long lines (a situation that basically punishes your customers for using you). Over the last two years, the wait times have gotten longer and longer. Two days ago, I went back to a store that was just remodeled to open a self-checkout corral and shrink all the assisted-checkout conveyor belts by half so you can't load much on them; they put a cashier on the only open one who had no concept of hustle. The manager persistently bugged everyone in line--including myself with a full cart and the woman behind me in a motorized cart--to use self-checkout. RUDE! When people don't want to use the self-scanners there is usually A REASON FOR IT. Combine that with the reduced hours they're open now and they're no longer a go-to for us. Aldi, here we come!

We were staying at a hotel in the area and needed to pick up a couple of things for our stay, as the hotel restaurant was quite expensive and the food quality was... questionable. This Food Lion was clean and well maintained. We were able to find the items we needed without any problems, and even an item or two that we were not expecting to find. About the only issue I had was that their roasted chickens looked pitiful. I would love to say that they had just been sitting out a bit too long, but looking at the times written on their packaging of when they had been put out, these chickens were sad to begin with. For normal groceries, I would say this Food Lion is a decent place to go... just don't go for their deli roasted chicken!

Flies buzzing around the deli while several different meats were being cut. Flies buzzing around the chicken fryer in back of the deli. Dead fly in the cheese case. These flies mean they're not keeping it clean.

Late Sunday morning shopping for the week. The store was well kept and not too busy with a great selection and reasonable prices. This time of the day, I had no concerns with security. The store is clean and tidy, the staff was efficient, opening another register when a third person was waiting. Shelves are stocked and ready. A reasonable amount of produce, the meat bunkers were fresh and inexpensive. This store is A-OK.

Not impressive. The store was open late (9p), but there was hardly anyone working here. Their selections were as sparse as a Soviet bread store. Want bottled coffee? You have two choices- regular and decaf. Want sandwiches? They've got 3 types to choose from. They didn't have a lot of the stuff I was looking for, stuff that you'd expect to find at the typical grocer. Parking was easy, but the lot was not well lit. The floors were sticky, and the prices higher than I'm accustomed to. In my opinion, do your shopping elsewhere.

PLEASE educate Malek on the use of coupons. I purchased (5) of the 6 Packs of Dr. Pepper. I had 2 coupons. IMMEDIATELY Malek told me I could only use 1 of the coupons. The coupons specified 1 coupon for the purchase of (2) 6 Packs. I asked him to get the manager. Quickly the manager and another employee told Malek to scan the other coupon. How many other customers has he misinformed?
