This store is filthy and has horrible customer service. Aside from the numerous outdated items in the meat dept and produce dept (out of date by 10+ days.. at least 2 things each trip on our list), the employees are all around crappy people. One visit I got home and didn't have 2 of my items. I called and they blamed me and said I left a bag in the cart and it was found in parking lot and that they reviewed camera and saw it placed into my cart.. however that was a lie because I did not use a shopping cart and there was only 1 bag. They smugly offered to replace this "one time" but I didn't bother and repurchased at the HT by my house. There have been many small instances that upset me, but today is why I'm writing a review. Today while using a shopping cart and kids cart my toddler needed to use the restroom so we pushed the carts to the side by the restroom while I took my child in. We walk out to an employee cursing/complaining and then SHOVING the carts where they're now down in the cold aisle and the other the other way. This obviously upset my child to witness, it was scary to her. We went to get the kids cart and just walk away when the employee decided to ask if I'm "really" going to just not put the other cart back or get the other cart. No, absolutely not - I'm removing a small child from a borderline violent behavior from an employee. During this exchange were told by another employee with green hair to "oh ignore her shes just a Karen today." This is completely unacceptable behavior and the quality of merchandise matches the attitudes of those who work there. They owe my toddler an apology for their actions in front of her. I worked for Food Lion for 10+ years while in school and I try to continue to support the brand, but if this is where the brand is headed I can't support that. Someone needs to step in and actually manage this store.

This is a great old fashioned grocery store. Its not hyped up fancy but its clean and full of lots of items that are not found at HT or Pubs. Frozen Food aisle is fantastic, so many brands and larger cartons of items. Canned goods are plentiful. I am just experimenting with the Meat Counter, so far I have had good luck with some New York Strips that were 7.99 a lb and the Pork has been great. Lots of Beer and wine and seltzers. Fresh Veggies are displayed and have always been spot on for me. I do feel a little like it is stepping back into 1980 but that is not a bad thing. Try the Store....I hear there is a huge one out in Monroe.

Love Food Lion, this store in particular. A grocery store that is just that. No fancy boutique, but a great selection of basic and non-essentials, with-our a lot of fluff. Staff here is always happy and friendly. Parking is so easy and convenient. So, if you want groceries and avoid the problematic parking associated with other nearby grocery stores, keep this location in mind.

I can't really believe that the cashier is allowed to smoke right at the entrance. There is nothing that smells corona fresh as you try to walk in the door with a cashier at the door huffing and blowing cigarette smoke right in your face. Many of these folks inside seem to work hard to serve their customers but this was really bad. I think rule no.1 should be no smoking allowed at any type of food places. Food needs to be smelled and not contaminated by cigarette smoke. Yuk. Bad very bad.

I stopped by your store on a recent visit to Charlotte. I want to commend you on one of your store's employees. A young man named Carson was so helpful and courteous. He was very knowledgeable and polite. It was so refreshing to see a young person care about customers and give good customer service.
