Unbelievably rude service from the Manager Regina. After over a 40 minute wait for the courtesy shuttle 13 people crowded on... There is only room for 11 with seat belts. I chose to be safe and took a cab knowing the hotel would want their guests to be safe. I was wrong. They refused to pay the driver claiming they had no idea they didn't have enough seats. Breakfast was offered instead of compensation but the cab drive preferred to get paid this evening He didn't want breakfast

ABSOLUTELY the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We booked two night separately. When we checked in we made sure to point out that situation and make sure we wouldn't have to change rooms. They said yes we would be fine and all was good. At 11:30pm we found out the shower was broken. We swapped rooms and I again made sure tomorrow there would be no issues. The next morning before we went to the venue of the wedding we were in I yet again checked that all was good since it would be hours before we head back. And again they said all was good. At 4:09 I received an email stating that all of our stuff had been removed from the room and we needed to come get it. This was 20 minutes before the wedding began. So I quickly called to have the situation corrected. They returned our stuff but the stuff in our refrigerator was missing. I went to the assistant GM Sarah to solve the issue. She after MANY conversations and personally reviewing the cameras and proving to her that we had this stuff in there was met with an awful response. She continued to gas light me and made be feel AWFUL. The experience with her alone was the worst I have ever dealt with in customer service. To her the customer is never right we are liars and deserve no respect or time.

I love Marriott but this addition to the brand needs work. They did not inform me of on-sight construction within the hotel. Otherwise I would not have booked them. While the room was overall nice, there were flaws. I found hair, that wasn't mine, on the bed and in the sink. A giant water bug decided to greet me too. I may have just picked a bad weekend with them but I have no desire to reserve with them again.

After reading reviews, I was very apprehensive about staying here. It's not the easiest place to get to during the day, but very easy at night or early in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised to see this location is not as bad as previously presented. It was refurbished over the last couple of years. They were updating security as we arrived. Clean. Rooms appear to be clean. Less towels than the normal 3 usually supplied. Small bagged breakfast being offered for the next morning. There was no bartender during the week. Not so good with communication upon arrival, though. We were not advised of breakfast, elevator location, not very attentive/lacked greeting and had us wait without saying anything. We just stood there while she did what she was currently doing, talking to housekeeping, etc. She was busy, but a greeting and a notification that she would be right with us when she was done would have been good so we didn't stand there wondering if we were waiting at the right place to check in. The rooms have very low toilets. And, I mean VERY LOW. Lower than an average toilet. I've never seen anything like it. Very small bathroom, also. Not a good place to stay long-term, but for short stays, on your way through, just to sleep, etc., it's good.

This hotel by every appearance seemed good, possibly even above average. But as I will detail there are enough issues to rate it below par in my book. This stay was complimentary by US Airways because my flight was delayed. I was forced to stay over and it was beyond my control as to which hotel would be chosen. The hotel shuttle picked me, other passengers displaced and some airline crew up to deliver us to the hotel. This was good, no hitch in the transportation at all. Check in was also flawless and easy, no issues here. It was after midnight and I just needed to get something to eat and go to bed. The staff directed me to a 24 hour diner which I hit up. The neighborhood is somewhat sketchy, if your not careful you may accidentally roll into one of the two strip clubs that are within a half mile. I let that urge go, I was beat and just got something to eat. My assumption is the area has prostitution and as you will later hear details I think this hotel is utilized in this activity. After dinner it was after 1 AM and I entered the floor to screams. I thought WTF, is someone being murdered. As I approached my door I found the screams of delight coming from across the hall. Sometimes you just can't resist and I went to the door to see what was up. Sure enough it was someone having a really good time in bed, at least she was because the shrill screaming seemed to go on and on. The do not disturb sign made me only want to bang on the door and tell them to quiet down, but I let that urge go too! The room appeared in order, but I later found the sheets worn. The room was outdated with no plug ins in site. I called for a wake up call. Next morning a live person called me, nice touch...but it was an hour early and they apologized. They reset it for an hour later, but never followed up, so I almost missed the shuttle and never got a hot breakfast offered. No issues with the shuttle back to the airport and after getting settled in for breakfast a cockroach was located on my food tray which I thought seemed weird, but it was not on my food, the woman in front of me freaked out as I flicked it off of my tray. Later in the day on my travel another cockroach was located by a passenger who yelled at me saying sir, sir you have something on your bag. My assumption is something I cannot prove, but in my opinion they came from the hotel. Possibly the best thing about this stay would have been if I had hit a strip joint up. I will remember this hotel and never set foot in it again.

I frequent Marriott hotels for 100+ nights per year and this has to be my worst experience in many years. On a recent business trip, I was looking for a Marriott property near the airport. I picked this location due versus a nearby Courtyard because it said it was "renovated". Saying it was a renovated was fairly generous. While the lobby looked clean and bright the rest of the hotel was a mess. It looked like the rooms may have been painted but that was it. Hardly a renovation. The furniture looked like it was out of the 80s, and the bathroom fixtures were in poor condition. The ceiling was stained and needed repair. The worst part was the smell. The rooms smelled like a perfume over smoke. The carpet seemed downright sketchy and I didn't want to walk around barefoot. I know it was not just my room because my coworker also experienced the same thing. The hallways and elevators looked like they needed a good vacuum. Not keeping up with this simple task does not lead to a good first impression. The only plus for the hotel was the friendly staff in the lobby and in the bar. I have stayed at 4points before but this location does not get a return visit from me.

After leaving Springhill Suites to seek another hotel for the night I decided on this location. All I can say is I made the biggest mistake ever. It was late and didn't want to spend time trying to find another place after leaving another Marriott/Bonvoy property. The gentleman working the front desk was extremely nice and pleasant. I explained to him our previous situation with another property and he ensured me I would be satisfied here. Check-in was quick. I went to check out the room and it took everything in me to keep from crying. The room is dated and extremely small. All of the furniture in the room looks as though it was bought from a dent and scratch sale for hotels. The bathrooms are extremely small. The old wood door reaches the toilet (that's how small it is). The counter/wood shelf in the bathroom was warped from water and dirt can not stress enough how dated the whole room was. The microwave, the lamps, the furniture, the carpet, the windows, the curtains. I sprayed the room down with Lysol, wiped down countertops with Lysol wipes, changed the sheets to check the bed, the beds are newer, LOL, and got comfortable as I and my family made jokes about the size of the room and the year we were transported back to. I am an early riser. I was awake preparing for the day when I heard a knock at the door and someone says housekeeping! AT 9:00 AM !!!! When I went to the door there was no one there. I did not open the door just looked out the peephole to be on the safe side. I am still here at the hotel and preparing to check out. Marriott/Bonvoy definitely is a chain that has gone downhill. I will not return to this hotel or any others in this chain.

Very nice Four Points, with a complementary airport shuttle. I usually stay at the Sheraton across town, however, this hotel is located within walking distance to many local restaurants and the LYNX Light Rail Public Transportation Train system, a quick trip to Downtown Charlotte. Everyone we encountered here was fantastic, kind and beaming with true southern hospitality. Thank You Four Points !

I am giving this Four Points 3-Stars, BUT be aware they are undergoing a renovation and I expect if I visit again I will be able to upgrade their rating. I had a very pleasant experience at the front desk (I believe I was assisted by Megan). The employee was friendly, well put together, and very helpful. It was honestly a very pleasant surprise after driving up to the hotel's exterior; the landscape and exterior paint could really use a makeover. The lobby was clean and stylish so things were looking up. I took the elevator to my room on the sixth floor. The elevator was clean and in good condition. The sixth floor hallway had some imperfections that could use attention, but I'm not sure that the floor had been renovated yet. The room looked and smelled clean with bright white linens, clean carpets, and dust-free surfaces. The bathroom door had taken a beating at some point, but had been fairly neatly repaired. The room and bathroom were spacious and the bed was comfortable. The parking is free. The WiFi is free. They offer a shuttle service. The hotel is quiet. Certainly some cosmetic things to take care off - both inside and out - but definite potential here. I certainly wouldn't mind staying here again on a short trip to Charlotte.

Bathroom was a little shabby with some stray hairs but the room and bed was very clean. had to call down to fix my heater and Johnny the maintenance man was awesome! fantastic customer service!
