Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte Airport Lake Pointe is a modern hotel located in Charlotte, NC, offering convenient accommodations for travelers flying in and out of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. This property, part of the Hilton family, features a contemporary design and is connected to the Tru by Hilton, allowing guests to enjoy shared amenities such as breakfast areas and shuttle services. With a focus on cleanliness and customer service, the hotel has garnered positive reviews for its friendly staff and comfortable rooms, making it a favored choice for both business and leisure travelers.

This newish Hampton Inn & Suites is one of the best choices when flying in or out of the Charlotte airport. Like some newer Hilton properties, it is built in a V-shape and connected to a Tru by Hilton. The two hotels share some facilities, such as the breakfast area, parking lot and shuttle service. (A Hilton Garden Inn is in the same area, a business park, but is not connected to these two properties.) We stayed at this Hampton Inn & Suites the night before a recent flight out of CLT. While not fancy or deluxe, this property is nearly new, has competent and friendly staff and is very clean and attractive for a mid-range hotel. These days you can expect to pay around $200 a night for this class of lodging, including taxes and fees. We also chose to leave our vehicle for about a week in the hotel parking lot while we were on a trip. The cost for this is $10 a day. (Many properties near the CLT airport used to provide this handy service for free, but now most charge for it.) A shuttle for the three Hilton properties (Hampton, Tru and HGI) operates 24 hours a day to and from the airport and is free. We tip the helpful drivers $5 per trip. All in all, this is a great choice when staying near the Charlotte airport.

This is a pretty typical Hampton inn with qualities you can count on. Location is convenient a few miles from the airport, for me it was good as I had a late night arrival and just wanted to get to a hotel as soon as possible. It's relatively new, about 5 years old so everything looks and feels new and in good condition. It shares parking and public space with Tru Hilton next door. Parking is not free which is surprising for an airport hotel, for $10 per 24 hours and you pay online. Room is an adequate size, not too small for two people. We had a double queen room and the beds are firm and comfortable with good quality clean bedding. Bathroom is also a good size. Lobby is modern with high ceilings and spacious seating - especially like the high table. There is self service coffee/tea in the lobby. Breakfast is ok - this type of hotels rarely have non powdered eggs so not much you can do about it. Good bacon, and hash browns that are a bit over cooked. Whole fruits, banana, orange and apple, some bakery stuff individually wrapped in plastic - ok for a free breakfast but not something you'd buy on your own. Overall, if looking for a clean, modern comfortable room this hotel meets all basic expectations.

I've only stayed here for like 5 hours because our flight got delayed until the next day and they had one room left. Got here around midnight and had to leave around 5. They said first shuttle was full so had to call a Lyft. The room was big, clean and newer hotel. They give you water at check in. There's a fridge. Shower pressure works well. Bed was pretty comfortable. AC worked well. Wish I was able to enjoy their complimentary breakfast and the hotel more.

I had the opportunity to stay here a few days ago for a work trip! Entire staff was extremely nice and welcoming! I had an audition to tape and Cathy at the front desk allowed me to borrow a table to bring to my room to tape the scenes. The breakfast crew?!?! OUTSTANDING! Kind, efficient, smiling and eager to help. Sadly, I ended up leaving my suits and shoes in the closet when I checked out!! Beau ??? And Dustin were able to assist without difficulty to get everything overnighted to me!! The only negative experience I had was I asked for a late check out bc of my work hours and was disturbed by housekeeping with a phone call. Delirious and startled, I couldn't get back to sleep and left ...hence why I probably forgot my suits.

Michael Christian and Scott (our shuttle driver) were wonderful! They were very personable and helpful throughout our short visit - epitomizing the phrase "Southern hospitality". Thank you again for a lovely stay.

Stayed here for a weekend to visit some friends. Very clean and nice hotel. We got in late Friday night and stayed until Sunday. The hotel breakfast was nice and hot and stayed stocked. We had a king room which was also nice. I will definitely consider staying here again. The hotel is connected to Hilton Tru.

I was greeted with a good southern hospitality by the lady at the front desk (02/01/2021) 4PM shift when I checked in. Sorry forgot to get her name. She was extremely helpful, welcoming and warm which what I just needed after a long flight and a cancelled connecting flight to New Jersey. I booked this hotel because it looked like a new construction from the pictures. Glad I chose it because it was a great hotel, got a king size bed, clean and spacious bathroom, a great gym and a cozy lobby. They also have a free breakfast which was a plus. They offer free shuttle to and from the airport. This is also a two connected hotels btw, Hampton and Try by Hilton.

We have stayed here twice now, both times we have been satisfied with our service, the cleanliness of the hotel, rooms, and facilities. Convenient location to the airport, and a $20 Uber to the middle of Charlotte. You can *occasionally* hear a plane when it's quiet at night but for the most part no noise complaints at all! We recommend staying here and will definitely stay again in the future. :)

My husband and I ended up having a cancelled flight (9pm flight, didn't get off plane for engine problems until 12:30, got to hotel around 1am) and luckily they were able to accommodate us for the night. Michael Christian was the perfect person to go to after this upsetting event of our flight getting cancelled. He was kind, passionate about his work, and extremely hospitable. Thank you so much Michael for making our night less miserable!!

there are no forks in room 850 and at the pool at night there were roaches room 850 also smells like ass the tv gets fuzzy
