CAR BREAK-INS - BE AWARE! I'm sharing this in hopes of saving others from the stressful experience of being woken up by a police officer at your door because your car has been broken into. Our truck, along with several other vehicles, was broken into early in the morning during our stay. Unfortunately, we later found out that this is a known and recurring issue at this hotel. There were no posted warnings about the risk of car break-ins, and no visible security presence to help deter this kind of activity. We were told that trucks are especially targeted in hopes of finding money, firearms or power tools. Thankfully, we didn't have anything valuable inside, so nothing was taken -- but the damage and sense of violation were enough to sour the experience. We had to pay $600 out of pocket to repair the broken window, as filing a claim would have caused our insurance to go up. We also reached out to the hotel manager, Jennifer, who showed no interest in helping or taking any responsibility, even though this is a recurring issue on their property, that should have already been addressed. As loyal members, we expected better care and accountability. To make matters worse, we also contacted Hilton corporate, and they too have shown little urgency or willingness to help in any meaningful way. It's really unfortunate because the hotel staff were otherwise friendly, and the room itself was very nice. But the lack of security, transparency, and proper guest support left us feeling completely let down. If you plan to stay here, do so at your own risk, and do not leave anything in your vehicle. I wish we had known all of this beforehand.

Unfriendliest Hampton I've been in , and that's a lot of them. Had to ask for water and only offered 1 bottle, no thank you for being a diamond member, and employees act like they don't care if you're satisfied or not, seems like every request is a bother to them . The accommodations are satisfactory, but I've stayed in a lot of Hilton properties and this is certainly not one I'd revisit on my monthly Charlotte trips. I will say that the housekeeping staff was excellent- a real attention to detail, and service every day, not every other day

Gotta give 5 stars to the service I received from Cali at the Hampton here in Charlotte! I travel a lot nowadays and Cali provided some amazing service. Staying here on a business trip and was greeted by one of the brightest smiles I've seen all day. Cali was a big help and getting me situated with my mom. Checking in with super easy with her help. This Hampton location is conveniently located off of one of the main highways. It's a little far outside of the downtown area so it's fairly quiet around it. I didn't find that it had much walkable stuff around but I did arrive to my room at 10 o'clock at night. The hotel was quiet where there weren't many guests and loud people around. The room was clean. This is not one of the newer locations that are updated so things are a little old but it's clean and tidy. The decor is that oldies 2010 decor - you can tell the hotel is in need of some Reno. Five stars for the amazing service I received from Cali.

I haven't stayed in a hotel this clean before EVER . Not only was the cleanliness of the room amazing , the hotel staff was the most pleasant ! Everyone from the front desk to the wonderful staff I the breakfast area were so pleasant and welcoming and the housekeeper Felicia is kick ass ! It was honestly refreshing to stay at a hotel that made us feel like we were welcome .

This was a fine hotel and we really appreciated the room with the separated couch and bed area. It was a little "worn" and could use some of the finer touches but all and all it was a good place to stay. The pool was closed which was a bummer but the breakfast was good. The best part was it was quiet and you could hear very little from outside the room or outside.

Cleanliness, Courtesy, and Response are what I look for in a hotel. This Hampton Inn gets top marks in all 3. A more imaginative breakfast that is kept hot would move this to 5 stars.

I've travelled all over the US with my dog and paid many pet fees. Unfortunately this hotel didn't disclose the pet fee at all which turned out to be $75 + tax. They presented a 1 page agreement that did not list the price and instead referenced a "pet book" which presumably listed this fee. I don't know because I wasn't there when this was processed and signed as my girlfriend checked us in. I would never have agreed to this exorbitant of a fee. Completely shady and underhanded. The hotel was $100/night. I'll be charging this back with the credit card company after an unprofessional call with the manager who wouldn't admit that at no point is the fee disclosed. Only that it's in the "pet book" that was agreed to. So her argument is that you agreed to terms that were never disclosed, too bad. Pretty sure the FTC would be interested in these sorts of misleading business practices.

We were stuck in Charlotte due to maintenance issues with our airplane. American gave us a list of hotels their comp hotels--most had terrible guest reviews, but this one looked okay. There wasn't a shuttle, so we had to have the airline comp our taxi--it was worth the extra 10 minutes to get there. The staff at this motel are so friendly and professional. We arrived after midnight and left before 6am, and both front desk staff were so helpful and friendly.

Stay away from this place! I am a Hilton Diamond Lifetime Hhonors member so I know Hilton properties inside and out. This has to have been the filthiest I have ever stayed in. The room we were assigned had a fake eyelash on the floor and crumbs on the table, The second room was no better. Neither room had been properly cleaned or checked but they labeled them as clean and sanitized. We left within an hour and went to a Hilton Garden Inn a few miles away that was excellent. Trust me, stay away.
