I visited Harold's at 4:30 on September 18th. It was the perfect time to visit Harolds. Our service was prompt. Our food came out fresh and hot. Everything taste delicious. The ambience was great. It was rather empty in there. I would go again at this time to have the same experience. The wings were very good and taste just like the Harolds back in Chicago. I recommend you try this business, not during their peak business hours.

Sneaky gratuity, I need to stop coming here because it's always something. In numerous reviews I've talked about how I like their fish and fries. That's what I went in there for on Saturday but I looked at the menu and the shrimp looked good so I order the fish and shrimp combo thinking I'm getting the regular size fish to go along with the big shrimp. They fooled my a$$, they half the fish when you order the combo. I was so pissed and now they have a new twist when you get ready to pay. They used to give you a paper receipt so you can see everything but now they give you a handheld device to pay and it just has the total. Luckily I sent the receipt to my phone but I had already paid. They add the gratuity into the total but the handheld will ask you again for more gratuity so if you don't know they add it into your bill already you'll tip her twice. That's what happened to me. I'm sure they get a lot of people like that, just a fair warning when you dine here and I've mentioned it before but they still haven't wiped down the napkin dispensers. Unacceptable

I try to support our people but we make it tough. I can't dine in because the service was terrible last time I was here. I can't place an order online, the website says they don't accept orders from the site? I can't call and place an order. They don't answer the phone... so I was forced to show up and place an order, of course nobody is in the front so I'm just standing there. I place my order, it's about a 20min wait (which again is why I tried to order ahead Of time). I asked for the grilled shrimp, the lady said they don't have that. When it's on the menu?? And said they only have shrimp skewers which IS NOT in the menu?? lol. And said their menu isn't updated. Ordered the livers and gizzard. I paid and walked out. They called saying they have to prepare them and it will take a HOUR. Yall open at 11am and it's 3pm? How aren't you all prepared. I forgot why I don't come here and was reminded. The ETA for the food was 20mins but came in at the 40 min mark and still wasn't ready. It's like like this place was Packed, look at the pictures, nobody was in there.

I am from Chicago and Heralds has some of the greatest chicken ever. I was excited to find out that they opened a location here. I came here on a weekday. There is plenty of parking in the shared lots. It wasn't too busy or crowded when I came. Was able to get my food within 15 minutes. The place is large. There's plenty of seating with a fully loaded bar. It seems like a nice place to come after work or in the evening. .I got the 4 wings, with the sauce, however, the wings weren't really seasoned. Highly encourage them to send the chefs to Chicago Herald on 87th St. to learn how to make this chicken. I might try this place again for the bar because I didn't get a chance to do that experience but based off the chicken, they lost a lot stars. I'm not sure who messed up this classic.

The drink menu had a good selection, but we didn't try any this time. The place also doubles as a hookah bar, so if you're into that, it might be a plus. The ambiance is casual, and it feels like a place people go more for the vibe than the food since there is a DJ. It's located in an area with several other shops, so parking wasn't an issue, especially at 11 PM on a Saturday. Would I Go Back? If I'm hungry late at night and options are slim, I'd consider stopping by again. It's not a must-visit, but it's convenient and gets the job done.

We waited about 5-10 minutes to be seated, and once seated, it took a while for the waiter to come over and for our drinks to arrive. We ordered two drinks from the bar, which took about 20 minutes. When we followed up with the waiter, he said the bar was backed up but returned almost immediately with our drinks, suggesting they had been sitting there. Overall, the service was a 1/10, with the one point only because we were served eventually. I was excited to try the food, as the menu looked great, and I love fried chicken wings. I ordered the chicken and wings, while my fiancé got the gizzards and wings. The catfish I had was decent, but nothing was seasoned. The gizzards were overly breaded and overcooked, the fries lacked even basic salt, and the chicken still had feathers on it. The interior was cute, though I expected a more elevated atmosphere. The vibe was okay, with dimmed lights and club-style lighting, but overall, I'm not sure I'd return.

I've come here twice And each time sat at the bar. The bartenders were both nice. They have happy hour specials during the week so I got Teramana Tequila for 6.00 on one of the days. I had the wings and shrimp one day and then wings and buffalo shrimp the other time. I love the mambo sauce, which is like a mild sweet sauce. The food was fresh and hot each time and the wings did not disappoint! The music is going to be loud especially Friday afternoon, there was a dj. Overall a good experience. I recommend trying them out. I did notice a VIP section through a separate door as well and apparently they have themed events here as well.

After reading all the reviews, I still decided to give them a try. I ordered the exact same thing almost every Friday. The staff is cute and friendly but service need help. At first, the service was good when I walked in someone was at the hostess stand and I placed an order based on her recommendation. It was good. Then each time I went back it got worse and worse. There was no one up front ...I waited so long that the bartender came around to help me and that was after he went to the back to get someone who never came. One day ordered the small verses the large and it was the same size as the large I normally get. One time I placed an order and sat at the bar because it was cold...instead of giving me my food, she placed it in a warming cabinet and I was sitting there watching her. But sadly yesterday was my last straw. I ordered and when she told me the price I told her it was off, can you tell me what changed. She kindly told me it was a service charge, I asked how much was the service charge because she didn't offer that information. She said 3% I assumed it applied to those paying with credit card because she said oh you have cash. I gave her the cash..got my receipt and the 3% service charge was still there and when she came back with my change, she shorted me on the coin; it's principle. If I give you money, I expect exact change. Tips...Please disclose the 3% on a sign or have the servers disclose it. I understand the fee if a person is paying by card but not for cash. If a person is paying for large be consistent on your portion sizes. The prices should not change based on who is taking the order for the same item. Invest in phone orders, the music is so loud that you may not hear the phone ring but it is missed revenue

Service is extremely slow. Waited an hour no food. The excuse was due to shift change. Waiter and waitress lied about food will be ready in a few. No apology for the wait. This is not the first time. Both times visiting from out of town.
