We stayed here before flying to the West Coast for Christmas the following morning. Whenever possible we prefer to stay at Hilton Home2Suites locations. We booked online several weeks in advance and took advantage of the Hilton Honors pricing. We arrived about 7:30pm and were able to find a parking spot easily and had called ahead to get the information on the park and fly option which allows you to leave your vehicle in their parking lot for $20/per week (for up to three weeks). The complimentary shuttle takes hotel guests to and from the terminal 24 hours per day every 30 minutes. The $20 park and fly option was considerably less than we would have paid if we had parked at the airport for 5 days. The woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful and provided us with a parking dash tag for our vehicle and added our names to the early morning shuttle list. The entire property looked well taken care of and clean. We had chosen our room in advance using the Hilton app and were grateful for the option to choose a one bedroom suite. The studio room type is sufficient but when a suite is available we do our best to grab it. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet which is always appreciated especially the night before an early morning flight. The next morning the shuttle was timely and delivered us to the terminal in about 5 minutes. This property will absolutely be on our short list when flying in/out of CLT. Upon our return to CLT one of our bags was temporarily misplaced at the airport. After waiting until almost all passengers had left and we still did not see our bag, we went to the airline baggage office for help. They located our bag and brought it to us. About an hour or so after departing the plane, we went to the airport shuttle area and called the hotel. Kowana answered the phone and told us the shuttle was already in route to the airport and it should arrive within 5 minutes. We waited a few minutes and saw the shuttle, he pulled in and was very friendly and welcoming. I wish we had caught his name, he loaded our bags and we were on our way to the hotel in no time. While driving back to the hotel we briefly discussed being tired from a long travel day and mentioned we should check in at the front desk to see about staying another night and driving back the next morning. Kowana was at the front desk and helped us book a room at a decent rate and we were able to take a hot shower and climb into bed shortly after checking in. We slept well and would absolutely stay here again!

My husband and I were staying here as we had to catch an early morning flight -- from check in to departure our experience was smooth. The woman at the front desk (Megan) was absolutely awesome. She was so kind and made our stay seamless, as well as had the greatest personality. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who needed to catch some sleep before a flight. The convenience of the shuttle was great -- you request a time from the front desk the day/night prior and they hook you up with a ride.

People working there are friendly. Checkout is at noon and the housecleaning starts knocking on the doors at 9A. What if we wanted to sleep in? We felt like we were sleeping in a dorm room on IKEA furniture. Very uncomfortable.

I only stayed at the hotel for a short time--about three hours--due to flight and airline issues. The hotel itself looked clean, and the customer service was friendly and accommodating, which was a relief after a long day of travel. The bed appeared freshly made at first glance, but once I got in, there was an odd smell that made it seem like it hadn't been properly cleaned. I left for the airport around 3:30 a.m., and not long after, I began experiencing symptoms of a stomach virus. While the staff was great, the cleanliness of the bedding raised concerns.

We decided to stay at this hotel location a few nights ago, because we had an early 7am flight. The location was great because it's very close to the Park & Go that we use, and they also provide shuttle service to the airport. The staff was very friendly upon arrival and departure. The issues I had was we reserved a queen bed and upon entering the room it appeared we got a full size bed. When we reported it to the front desk staff, she confirmed it was a queen bed. I'm very confident in what we had since I own both full and queen in my own home. I've also traveled a lot and there was no doubt, they are saying they have queens when in reality they have full beds. I also thought their free breakfast was not early enough for people with early flights, because it started at 0600am.

I've stayed at several other Home2 Suites, so felt comfortable choosing this location to be close to Charlotte airport for a 6am flight the following morning. In short, I will never, ever stay at this Home2 Suites again. To be fair, let's start with the good: Location. This hotel is literally right outside the entrance road to CLT. 5 minutes to the terminals, the parking lots, and the rental car return. There is also a Mobil gas station on the same side street as the hotel for convenience of gassing up that rental car. Now the bad & the ugly: In order from worse to least worse. 1) No hot or warm water for the shower. Seriously I let the shower run for almost 10 minutes, and the water never even got warm. And this was at 3:30am so it wasn't because everyone else in the hotel was taking a shower. Yet, the hot water was fine for the sink. So I had to do the washcloth-wipe down routine using the sink...not the way I had hoped to start a very early morning for a long cross-country trip. 2) Next, the bed: lumpy and too soft. 3) The digital key does not work on the side entrance, forcing me to walk all the way around to the front of the hotel from the back forty parking lot. 4) Then, the TV: the remote didn't work except for manually punching in the channel numbers...which would have been okay if there was a channel guide in the room. No guide, no channel surfing, just the numeric keypad on the remote. 5) And finally, the climate control unit was removed from the wall (but the bracket and hole in the wall for the wires still there), and instead had to use the old school window type AC unit where the controls are on the window unit. At least it worked, if it was a bit 1970's. I checked out too early to have the breakfast, so can't comment on that. But if I had to guess, it probably wasn't very good. This hotel owner doesn't seem to care about the state of the property, relying instead on the one-night stays from all the airport / flyer traffic. Sad.

I called to talk to the front desk to see if I could enjoy a few hours in this hotel since I had a long layover. When they answered, the line was cutting off. I asked "I apologize, who am I speaking to?" And the front desk didn't have any hospitality in their voice. They put me on hold and the line hung up. I didn't bother calling back. Phone etiquette is also an act of service and unfortunately, I wasn't able to enjoy this business further. A shame because I love Home2Suites. Maybe next time...

I didn't have high expectations when I booked this hotel, because it's next to the airport. But I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. The desk clerk, Tamia, was able to recommend restaurants that delivered to the hotel, and gave me a menu. Later, I got a text message from her checking in to make sure everything in the room was ok. The staff is on point! There were ear plugs on the front desk for anyone who didn't want to listen to planes overhead. My room was very organized and inviting. The suite had a bed, couch area, and a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, plates, and silverware. I am a matress snob but I found the bed very comfortable. Overall, the room was well designed, comfy, and affordable. The staff is amazing. If I got stranded at the airport this is where I would hunker down.

This is an okay place. It's a little weird but nice. As others say, it is new and everything is clean and in working order. The style is modern and a little out there, but kind of cool and funky. I understand this is more for extended stays but my room was unnecessarily large. There was a table in the middle of a big open area. The room was a suite and the bedroom was comfortable with plenty of plugs on the nightstand for phones, tablets, etc. The living area also had a bed, but no couch. That was weird to me. If you're staying some place long term, personally I wouldn't want to have to lie on a bed to watch tv. The gym was okay although it had only one working treadmill. There was a laundry facility right by the gym. Food choices for breakfast were limited and mostly consisted of microwavable sandwiches and entrees. The sandwich I had was okay, but I like the hot breakfasts at Hampton Inn better. There's actually a Hampton right beside this hotel but I stayed here because it was cheaper (always have to stay at a Hilton property). Staff was friendly but really loud. The lady at the front desk was watching a basketball game when I came in and I could still hear her screaming at the TV in my room. Luckily, the game ended pretty soon afterwards and peace was restored. Overall, a decent place.
