bed bugs sinking beds broken shower curtains and many roaches.. I called front desk to move rooms or money back which both female and the male there with the eyebrow told me I can't do anything because that's how it is.. in his words.. I been here 3 days and paid for a week.. do not recommend

I assume there are others like me who are in business for themselves and have to travel, therefore have to manage their travel budget carefully. Extended stay properties such as InTown Suites can be useful and even necessary for this purpose (averaging $50 per night for a minimum 7 day stay, less than even a Budget or Days Inn). Most of the folks that stay at this property, however, actually seem to be using it as an open-ended residence, perhaps taking advantage of the no-lease, no credit check policy, which goes with the territory. Regardless of which category you fall into, here are a few survival tips. The rooms are decent but small; the trick is to spend as little time there as possible. There aren't really full kitchens, as advertised, but there's a range, sink, microwave and refrigerator, so close enough. (What's missing is anything resembling a store in the area from which to procure ingredients. I got provisions from Dean and Deluca and Grab a Green uptown, and brought home lots of leftovers.). Housekeeping is once a week, so you may want to get your own cleaning supplies. There is no shampoo, hair dryer, iron, coffee maker (!), dishware, etc. I had to go out an buy some of these items, but unlike me, you can come prepared. Pluses include premium cable and pretty reliable WiFi. The area is not particularly pedestrian friendly, but I figured out how to walk to three great spots without too many life-endangering dashes across roads or trips through weedy lots - the historic Old Mecklenburg Brewery, the fun Queen Park Social, and the cool distillery Broken Spoke. (Since neither my permanent housing NOR my office were ready, each of these functioned as temporary workspaces for me, as well as sources of much needed alcohol :)) The light rail is also in reasonable walking distance. (Woodlawn is closer, but Scaleybark has more sidewalks and fewer truck that want to run you over. Ticket machines are perpetually in and out of service so get the app.) The immediate area is a little shady, mostly due to the massive Studio 6 next door. (If you don't know what Studio 6 is, I didn't either, but I think I figured it out--it's a "de-flagged" Motel 6, which means it wasn't up to brand standards, so draw your own conclusions!) I had a bad incident walking at night, so the moral of the story is, don't walk around at night, ladies! On the corner is also McDonald's ... home of the angriest minimum wage workers in the South. Bring your credit card as they will randomly refuse to give you change for cash. (Not everyone, sometimes just you.) And please don't move your family here; the 200 sq ft rooms and various characters loitering in the stairwells do not make this property conducive to raising children, so don't be that parent! It was an interesting adventure and I would stay again (and listen to my own advice!) if there weren't any other practical options.

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever visited. Managers are rude, especially the one named Max. there's no cleaning staff, they turn the water on and off without notice, and the stairwells remind me of 1980s New York projects. There's been a pile of vomit in this stairwell for a week. The internet goes off and when u call the 800 support desk, they tell you to get a new access code even though the internet connection is down. They don't care because they were one of the few profitable businesses during the pandemic. Website says no pets but there are dogs everywhere. I can GUARANTEE the positive reviews are either fake, lying or paid for

This hotel is run by people that are very unprofessional and very rude my handicapped sister needed a place to stay because she's on oxygen and just had a stroke and this nasty man by the name of Max gives her the dirtiest cat piss smelling room in the building knowing full well she's on oxygen when I went to speak to Max about the situation he was very vague and non-caring I will say if you want other people to rent from you I will get someone That appreciates the services you guys provide and the customers that come in if my sister gets sick because of the cat piss that she has been subjected to then I'm pretty sure her lawyer will have no problem getting compensation for her

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The room was dirty, the TV and fridge were old, and even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room, the whole place smelled like stale smoke. I probably shouldn't have checked in, but I had no other options. I checked out mid way through my stay and requested a refund. I was assured it would be processed within a few days. It's been two months and nothing. The manager, Mike, has stopped returning my calls, Guest Services does not call me back, and the email form does not get a response either. STAY AWAY.

It sucks!!! My room didnt have a trash can! The couch bed was full of springs and cover! But it was roomy and had alot of channels no elevator or handicapped equivalent.

Need a place to stay for a week with out the crazy prices this is your place. Rooms are bigger then most extended stay hotels with a ton of tv channels. Staff is cool but like everywhere you always have that one who just rubs you the wrong way. Would stay here again if needed to, but have to be early they fill up quick.

First picked this place for its price all while moving and looking for a home. I ended up only staying for a week at this extended type of hotel. I checked out the room before I accepted it. Although I should have taken a closer look. It's not that the area is all bad but let's just say there are some unflattering looking people staying here. Kinda makes you question your safety of you and your valuables. Like complete bum/unsanitary people type. So then there is the room it self. For a twin bed, all you get for bedding is a worn out creaking mattress with one sheet and a comforter and awful bean filled pillows. Then you have a refrigerator that when it kicks on makes a dangerous ticking noise from behind it. Then the door knob to the bathroom door was not even installed right, it was broken with only one screw holding it on the door. So you can't even open the door without pulling up on the handle. The. The running toilet... Anytime you finished using the toilet and flush it would refill constantly because the chain and plunger were getting caught in the seal also worn out too. Then the a/c and heater unit. It was either turn it off or hot or cold. It was never on auto when it reached the desired set temp that knob control just spun around with out any effect or change. Then the maid never came the whole time I was there to change out the bed sheets or supplied small towels. Only once to add aluminum foil to the stove pan then left. I complained about all of this to the manager during check out and he said he will take my complaints up to his boss and I should be receiving a call and credit back.
