Located right off busy Providence Road, Laurel Market is easy to miss as it is tucked around a corner and is a small and unassuming place. While it looks quiet from the outside, inside you will find a lot of hustle and bustle as hungry patrons line up to get their breakfast sandwiches, or their lunch depending on the time of day! The place is part neighborhood market, selling beer and wine along with snacks, and part deli serving made to order sandwiches, and salads, along with prepackaged sides and fixings like chicken or egg salad. I finally got a chance to come in around lunch time and was very exciting to dive into my turkey sandwich which came with bacon pepper Jack and a chipotle spread. It was delicious, just a perfect sandwich for lunch. Nothing fancy or over the top, and it was priced very reasonably which is hard to find these days. This place is a gem.

Nothing like a weekend breakfast sandwich from Laurel Market. They are all delicious. Try them all. Even though they are busy, they always knock out your order quickly and accurately.

I found Laurel Market while in Charlotte. I was craving a sandwich and found this place. So glad I did! The food was delicious and they had some other neat items for sale in the store. I ordered the curry tuna sandwich. Very delicious! I definitely will be back.

Nice neighborhood sandwich and wine shop. Lots of fresh ingredients and local knickknacks throughout the store you wouldn't find in a grocery. The wine selection is also a plus. I ordered the turkey Gorgonzola and it was really good. Line was long to order... Would definitely order ahead next time.

Curry chicken salad sandwich for the WIN! Tasty, unique high quality sandwich. Bread was not super fresh but was fine. Quick service. Nice provisions and fun goodies in the market. Parking lot is a nightmare but that's not on Laurel Market so I'd def return. Maybe even next week for lunch.

Fun store and deli. Excellent fresh sandwiches made to order. Small cooler fridge with fresh salads from pesto pasta to curried chicken and tuna salad. Large selection of chips, fair trade chocolate, drinks, wine and beer. They also have soups. We had the #9 on sourdough with Thai chili chips and the pesto pasta.

Fresh reasonably priced sandwiches! This place just feels like a classic corner sandwich shop should, unpretentious, unassuming and simple, yet full of character and delicious food. You will probably have to wait a bit for your order, but it will be worth it! I had the Valium sandwich, which is almost an Italian, but with some fresher tasting greens. The ingredients come together in a splendid fashion, and the hoagie is not too soft and not too hard; just right!
