Tannin and toast was a nice place. I liked the matcha. I was even given two champagne vouchers from front desk when I checked in to celebrate. Staff was friendly. It was unfortunate that we were there was a point only 1 elevator was working. It delayed things especially during a conference. I would stay here again. It's Avery convenience location less than 10-20 minutes walking distance from many store and places to eat. We really liked the City Lights rooftop bar - drinks were yummy! Food was good from the bar food place downstairs by the pool on the Sheraton side. I didn't get to check out the gym. I was way to tired but heard it was alright for a hotel gym

I should have looked at these reviews when I booked...overall my stay was acceptable but not pleasant or very comfortable. I could hear every noise in my neighbor's room because the walls were SO thin (even my neighbor going to the bathroom, blowing their nose, and their alarm clock) and therefore didn't sleep well. The ice maker a few doors down in the hallway was so loud I thought staff was vacuuming throughout the day. The small fridge is noisy and the bathroom is laughably tiny. I also didn't love that the hotel is connected to the Sheraton, as it makes the Le Meridien feel like an add on that tried to be nicer, but with sharing the gym, pool, and a lobby, it didn't feel like the Le Meridien was worth the extra cost for a supposed more premium experience. That said, the bed was comfy and the room was fine - a little noticeably old in some places but that didn't bother me. The staff seemed nice too. Two stars in part because I found the exceedingly large lamp in the corner to be funny.

I stayed at Le Méridien Charlotte last weekend, and overall my trip was nice. The hotel is located in Uptown Charlotte, which is a decent spot--while there isn't much within immediate walking distance, there are restaurants and attractions about half a mile away. The check-in process was smooth and I really appreciated being able to check in early after calling ahead. The lobby was cute and clean, and I learned that the hotel is connected to the Sheraton, so many of the amenities (like restaurants) are actually located on the Sheraton side. I didn't get a chance to try the rooftop restaurant, but it looked like a fun option. The room itself was comfortable and had some modern touches, like updated wallpaper and décor, but you could still tell it was an older hotel underneath. It wasn't bad, just not as refreshed as some of the newer properties nearby. I did like that the TV had Netflix connectivity, which made relaxing in the room easy. One minor downside was the elevators. There were three available, but at one point when I went down to pick up a DoorDash order, only one was working, and it took a while. Not a dealbreaker, but a little inconvenient. Overall, the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean, which I really appreciated. Would I stay again? Maybe--if the price was right. There are definitely other hotels in the area that feel a bit more updated, but Le Méridien was still a solid option for a weekend stay.

This hotel was pretty disappointing. My room, whichever Grant not taking pictures of, was pretty big and spacious. The bed itself is also comfortable. However, the bathroom was moderately clean and the showerhead was broken! When I would turn on the shower, I would shoot up into the ceiling. It gave me the willies low key. Overall - I would not stay at this hotel again. Wasn't the worst or best. I came for my company meeting and everyone was complaining about different issues in their rooms. I am disappointed to be honest. Supposedly this hotel is haunted, and if you look up the story, it's truly is haunted, and there are certain ghosts that the rooms. I must've had one of the playful ones, thankfully lol.

An vintage property currently getting a renovation, this location is wonderful in Uptown Charlotte, centrally located to everything we ventured to Staff makes the property, and the people here were fantastic. -Carla helped get our room just right -Mohamed took care of our car with attentive care -James greeted us at check in and welcomed us for our 34th Anniversary -LT, such a great smile and a warm welcome back to our property -Andrea greeted us with juice and coffee each morning at the expansive breakfast buffet -Tim assisted us with our one hiccup, the air was cool in most parts of the hotel but elevators were stuffy and warm and our suite had a hard time cooling to setting -Jennifer at the front desk was wonderful to confirm late check out and answer last minute questions This hotel will be stellar after all Reno is complete The outdoor pool with its cabanas and Adirondack chairs were cozy The Club lounge access as always is a special part of this stay with 24hr access and mgr social each late afternoon was a great perk. Friday night we went to the rooftop bar and ordered our drinks at the covered bar. While there was plenty of staff behind the bar, no one circulated out to those of us out on the deck, an area of improvement for sure. Overall Most staff were stellar and we will be back to a refreshed property for sure!

Apparently they will be doing some updates soon, and it can't come fast enough. So many issues at this hotel! Our room was nice enough on first look. Bathroom is ridiculously small for some reason, but we could at least use it. As we looked around, though, there had been water damage to the walls and the wall-paper fix they did was laughable and was peeling away and bubbling up. The elevator situation was crazy-making. Every day at least one car wasn't working and/or had a maintainence person working on it. Long waits for working cars, staff using elevators with giant bins and maid service carts leaving no room for others, made some waits even longer. Getting stuck in cars was a bit unnerving. One of our people was stuck for nearly 30 minutes. Lack of hot water in rooms was infuriating. We complained at least three times to different people and got a standard answer that the 'boilers' had been reset and hot water would begin flowing shortly, but they said to 'let brown water run before using it.' Brown water never came (for better of worse, I guess) and hot water was tepid, at best. Zero communication from accounting regarding a billing issue, after myriad promises they would contact us and adjust is unacceptable. Now we have to call corporate to try to fix. This alone makes me question a return visit, but with other issues, I doubt I'd ever want to try again. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful everywhere. Bartenders were excellent in both bars. Social food and table service was a bit inconsistent, but they have a really good smash burger. They had their Craft Bar closed during our stay and had different hours for the sky bar, yet there was no signage and most staff had no idea. When we found a manager that actually DID know, he said they had closed or changed for the month of August due to slow business and lower occupancy. Conference/Banquet staff and Banquet food were all great! Best part of the entire stay. However, the conference facilities are really in need of some work. Air conditioning in the one building was ridiculously bad and we were freezing the whole time. August and people were having to wear jackets. We were told building AC was broken and they had an auxiliary AC truck in the parking lot that was cooling the place. The problem was, they couldn't regulate it.

I had a great stay here during Lovin Life Music Festival last weekend! My friend and I came for a fun girls night and this was the only place within walking distance to the festival for under $200. We got a 2 queen room for $167, plus $25 parking. But split between two, the per person cost is pretty much unbeatable for downtown CLT. The only issue I had originally was that their EV charger in the garage was unavailable and they said it had to do with maintenance work going on. I did express mild disappointment because that was a factor in me booking here, but the clerk did comp us with a $25 food/beverage credit plus breakfast for both of us the next morning, which absolutely made up for it! The room/amenities themselves were great in my opinion. Clean, fresh, modern design. No microwave in the room unfortunately, but not the end of the world. We did still have a refrigerator which was perfect for storing our food/drinks. We also had a beautiful view of the skyline! I slept great and enjoyed the meal and breakfast buffet the next morning. Extra treat that it was actual hot breakfast with bacon, eggs, sausage, DELICIOUS cheesy potato hash. The voucher stated continental, so I was just assuming some breads, cereals, and juices, but it was a full meal and it was delicious - perfect post-music festival nourishment! I would definitely come back - I hope their charger is working by then, but other than that. I had a great time. We also got a complimentary welcome glass of bubbly - very nice finishing, or really "starting", touch! @azfitfoodfun

I had the opportunity to make arrangements for this hotel, and I am glad I did. First and foremost, the military price is phenomenal. I was impressed with room 950, which offered a not so great view of the city, although they were booked for the NAACP National Convention. The room was very clean and spotless. The bathroom is somewhat small, but the shower was amazing and spacious. The iron functioned properly and did not leak water onto clothes. The bed was very comfortable. The rooftop was a pleasant place to relax, although outside food is not permitted. The food prices are comparable to those found at airports. This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Charlotte, approximately 0.5 miles. I recommend taking a stroll to explore the numerous excellent restaurants in the area.

This hotel is lacking in every way. The parking when I got there was confusing. This hotel is connected to the Sheraton and the parking is on the Sheraton side. The parking garage on the Le Meridien side was closed. Room 270 is the one I stayed in and it was old, dark, and run down even with the windows. The whole room was brown. The coffee male was too difficult to operate and the overall cleanliness was lacking. The pool was a HUGE disappointment. It was small and always full. The poll area is also very small. There isn't much seating. Put it this way if every guest at Le Meridien wanted to go to the pool, there's no way it could've been accommodated. The elevators seemed to have some issues. Sometimes you get in push your floor and it would take you to another floor but no one was there waiting to get on. Another time the display above the elevator was showing NC and didn't display the floors. It was just weird and I wasn't the only who noticed as during my stay I heard others mention it. I was there for a conference and the food was not good. The manager Tim Hayward was very nice. He gave the best service out of anyone at that hotel. With the competition around there I feel there are better options and I would not stay at this hotel again.

We chose this hotel because they had an outdoor pool. What a mistake. It was dirty. Scum along the pool sides and there was a clump of dirt of the bottom of the pool that remained there for our entire 5 day stay. Christoper responded to my complaint saying the pool has passed inspections and is actively maintained (did they actively clean around the clump of dirt?). Very dismissive. Tim called me and left a message, I called back twice leaving my name and number saying I was returning his call and never heard back. I guess like Christoper, putting in minimal effort gets the job done. This was a truly disappointing stay while visiting my son on Father's Day weekend.
