Do not go here. I ordered a few beers, didn't automatically leave a tip because was planning on leaving a tip at the end of the night. The bartender came out from behind the bar and ran up to me and my group and AGGRESSIVELY & PHYSICALLY ripped the beers out of our hands and told us to get out because he didn't get a tip. This place was unsafe from jump, now you add in aggressive bartenders. Place genuinely should be shut down.

Came here at 10:00 last night and it seemed like a cool place except for the loser working the bar. Bought a $2 PBR with cash and got a mouth full from this idiot for not tipping (I had two ones and two twenties on me). I explained I planned on buying a couple drinks and then tipping because I didn't have change on me and he says he didn't believe me. I finished my drink outside, left and am never coming back.

This place is NOT welcoming at all. The "owner" is very unprofessional, rude, and quite frankly, to the level of harassing. My friend drunkingly walked in the bathroom while I was in there, which is not permitted.. No problem. I stepped out once I knew she was okay (maybe 1 min later, if that) then was harassed constantly after that by the man who stated he was the "owner". After the situation was resolved, he continually approached me, claiming how "disrespectful" this minor situation was until I finally defended myself and was then kicked out. Was even told "Go save lives somewhere F****** else" once he learned I was a nurse. Completely irrational, unprofessional, and hostile. Don't let me forget to mention that he also portrayed acts of racism as well. Sad sad place!

Owner is very rude and disrespectful. I come here often with my friends and every encounter with him has been unpleasant. He's very unprofessional.. your friends are treating you to drinks while you all enjoy games of pool, he will watch you and eventually chase you out to your car in efforts to make YOU personally purchase something or tip his bartenders. I've seen it happened multiple times. And as a black woman it is very concerning and scary. I felt attacked and I will not be returning. Excluding the owner.. the atmosphere is fine.

Neat place but got kicked out for playing music the bartender didn't like, I was told by Nate that that the music I played didn't fit the vibe of the place and that I needed to leave permanently because he didn't like it, nice clean place with pool tables and overall fun as long as you don't conflict with what the people that work there want.

This is my favorite kind of dive bar- it serves craft beer but its still a dive bar. They have darts and pool which is great. It is a welcoming atmosphere and really anyone is welcome. Despite being a "dive", the place is super clean. Its a great place to hang out and grab beer. Always interesting conversations to be had with other patrons and bartenders are chill.

This place is alright. And my fellow Asians, you won't feel akward being there like in some dive bars with a pool hall. Seriously, it's alright. They have about four dart boards, three billiard tables, enough TVs to watch all the games, and a kickbutt jukebox that takes your debit/credit card to play songs at a going rate of $1 for 2 songs. The bar tenders are real cool. And this is what I liked the most about this place. Three gentlemen behind the bar were all professional but relaxed. Some places have one but not the other. The only thing was that they didn't have Captain Jack or Highland Gaelic Ale. You know, those are my favorites. But then again, they've got a whole bunch of bourbon and scotch for you to poison yourself with so all's fine with this world. Got myself a glass of Maker's Mark on the rocks and a margaritta for the lady. Yeap, they even make good margaritta's. My wife said it was alright so I tried it and they weren't holding back on the tequila like some places where all you get is a tea spoon of tequila and a whole lot of ice cubes. So all in all, if you want to go to a place where no one judges you and just chill, Midwood Country Club is alright - even for Asians. Hey, I saw two other Asians in there last night. Word.
