This is a hotel full of character and flavor of Charlotte uptown. Hotel offers, great amenities, reasonable room accommodations and everything a traveler needs when staying away from home.

We had a nice one-night stay here recently! I usually stay at Marriott-brand hotels, but I'm not sure if I've ever stayed at a Moxy before. This hotel felt like it was aiming for a New York City vibe. You check in on the top floor, with the registration desk connected to the bar. They gave me two drink chips (with an elite -- as I'm a member -- note on them that apparently gave a little more flexibility on what they could be redeemed for) upon check-in, which was quick overall. We tried to do valet parking, but it was taking awhile (maybe they were understaffed that day?), so we parked in the surface parking adjacent to the hotel, which was $30 for 24 hours. Our room was SMALL -- my room in NYC earlier this year was actually bigger! But we were only there for a night, so that wasn't a huge deal. There weren't typical nightstands, just one small stool on one side. There is some under-bed storage as well as some wall hooks. We had a city view and were pretty impressed by it, as you get a lovely view of Charlotte's skyline. The bed was perhaps the most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel room. Maybe it's just because this is a newer hotel, but it was nice and firm (my preference) and didn't have any lumps or sagging. My partner flails like a fish some nights, and I didn't even notice him moving. The art in the room was tear-away, which was a bit confusing. Not sure whether there was an intent for guests to grab a sheet if they liked one, but we let them be. The room noise was pretty quiet overall; we could hear a bit from the hallways and a bit from outside, but nothing that was terribly disruptive. (And they actually have earplugs available for free for light sleepers.) The toilet was square, which was weird but hey, some folks probably like that. A few things that (to me) are less subjective that I wish were different: - The bathroom has that sliding barn door, which inevitably leaves a gap. And there isn't an exhaust fan to turn on in the bathroom, so...well, if you're sharing a room with someone, they're going to hear what's going on in there. - The shower is one of those where there is a glass pan for half and then nothing for the other half. Maybe other folks are more talented with these than I am, but I always feel like this style is really prone to making a slippery mess on the floor. - The -- what I believe was -- smoke detector in the room had a really bright green flash every minute or so. It was really noticeable once the lights were off to the point where I couldn't lay down on my left side. I'm all for safety, but I'd like to think that the alarm could still function with a less-disruptive light. To sum things up, I think this is a good spot to stay, especially if you care a lot about a funky, social media-friendly aesthetic. That's not something I prioritize, but I'd still probably stay here again!

Tried out the new Moxy Charlotte hotel's bar and it was legit! The drinks were really good and the tapenade with the naan bites were amazing! I would definitely come back to try more drinks and some of the food options, but just had a quick bite. Service was good as well, with food and drink suggestions. The best part (outside of drinks) is the VIEWS! It's very selfie and back drop-worthy for sure! Come check it out for yourself!

Excited ! Is the best way to describe how I'm feeling about this hotel ! I'm hype that a Moxy hotel has made its way here to Charlotte ! I had the pleasure of staying in one in New Orleans so I kind of already knew the concept . If you're looking for an artsy hotel The Moxy nails it ! Every corner of the hotel is giving Content ! You can legit have a mini photo shoot at this hotel . The rooms are giving cozy vibes ! Each room will have a different touch to it . Essentially the lobby area/ bar check in is all one area ! So keep that in mind when you arrive to check in . Can't wait to see how Charlotte embraces having A moxy hotel in the city !

Very cute and vibey spot, the views are immaculate of the city. The staff was very helpful and friendly with explaining the menu and with any questions. The drinks turned out great, I will def be back to sample more, it's def giving specialty cocktail bar. But they do have regular drinks. Appetizers were cute I had the calamari fingers, not pictured but they were tasty and my friend had a salad. Parking is on your own. I'll be back for more cocktails.

The MOST amazing vibe & personality right from the moment when she came to my table ! If you book a stay at MOXY Definetly ask for TAJA !. Great personality, Great experience ! Rooms are clean and cute. Bar staff is wonderful. Rooftop bar has some cool views and the ambiance is fun and light. Shoutout to Trey the bartender for going above and beyond and trying to make us a spicy margarita. He couldn't find the spicy liquor but made us some amazing margs from scratch! Transit station is across the street so that's why the location is a little meh. Went to the lobby before checking out to grab our food that we asked to be put in the fridge earlier in our stay and the bartender there greeted me like I was a door. Said she couldn't find my bag anywhere. As I was leaving the gentleman cleaning the floors said he would look and brought it to me. I wish I got his name, but shoutout to him. He was kind.

They have a great rooftop bar. Fantastic drinks and delicious food. Close to everything uptown. 50 feet from the Spectrum Center! If you don't feel like walking 10 minutes to the Panthers Stadium or Knights Stadium,You can hop on the free trolley to the center city,Elizabeth, & Plaza Midwood. Staff is amazing.

Cute vibe if you're going out on the town. 3 is being generous but my sheets smelled like weed, dirty wash cloth was hanging on the shower when I first walked in, smoke detector light was blinking all night, felt like a dorm.
